Vriendelijke en behulpzame ontvangst. Op voorhand reeds uitvoerige beschrijving ontvangen van de plaats, vlak bij Ravel fietsroute. Huis in shabby stijl, met vele tierelantijnen. Vele oude voorwerpen aanwezig. Gezelschapsspellen beschikbaar. Volledig ingerichte keuken. Prima badkamer op gelijkvloers. Slaapkamer via stijle trap op verdieping (met 's avonds goede automatisch verlichting). Prima tv. Wifi niet overal even goed, maar ok. Ruimte om fietsen veilig te plaatsen. Twee ingangen. Eén tegen een gracht aan, waar zich ook primitief terras bevindt. Omgeving niet denderend.

Tip; vliegenramen plaatsen.

Een warm ontvangst, de kachel stond aan, thee, koffie en water staat klaar in het kabouterhuisje. Overal is aan gedacht. Ontbijtje heerlijk. Gastvrouw en heer super vriendelijk. Het vliegveld om de hoek.

not staying for longer!

This place is a gem. Our Google maps took us straight there but the owners also sent detailed instructions. The place is like an Aladdin's cave with antiques and a unique design. It's a stand alone building next to the home of the hosts. There is a small brook outside the deck and the whole attic is a large bedroom. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom large and spacious. It felt great to have our own living room with a wood burning stove, very cozy. Breakfast was amazing. Our host Sabine asked us what time we wanted it and arrived at that time with a wicker basket full of fresh pastries, jams, eggs and cold meats with cheese. There is a coffee machine in the kitchen that brews fabulous coffee by the cup. We were blown away by the hospitality. We have some French and that is how all communication is done, Sabine and Richard don't speak any English.

Sabine was so attentive to the details, made us feel at home. she was so kind and helpful. We had a lovely time in this almost a fairytale house. We love it.

The property is very difficult to find by GPS, but we follow the instructions. And there is a staircase to the top floor and is very dangerous. I end up hurting my shin going upstairs. Would like to see some protection in there.
