Beds are not comfortable and directv had a lot of lost connections

I like the location. Easy access to groceries, shops, and local restaurants. I like the ocean views. We were located near the playground which was nice for the grandchildren although the weather didn't permit it's use. It was nice to have the theater onsite although we were not given information on its use until the day we were leaving. There aren't any packets of information in the units to tell you how to access the amenities on the grounds. Some doors have signs stating, "see security for the key" (if you know where security can be found). Evidently for the movie theater you can pick a movie and time to play it for your family, but we weren't told about this until the day we left. The staff on site were nice and helpful but you have to constantly ask them for information instead of having the information supplied for you in your unit. We even had to ask one of the staff members on site where to put the trash if the cans were filled as this information wasn't provided either. You have to strip the beds and place all linen in bags for the cleaning staff when you leave so I am still confused as to why they charge so much for cleaning!! Overall, I think if more effort was put into cleaning, informing quests of all of the amenities, how to access them, and friendly facts about where things are located on the grounds (trash shoots, laundry rooms, etc) this could be a great experience for others, unfortunately it was not for us.

The room was dirty when we arrived. There was trash on the floor from previous users as well as food stains on the counter tops and walls. The dishwasher was full of dishes and although they were clean, I didn't feel like I should have to empty the dishwasher for others. The pan in the top of the dishwasher was full of water so when the top rack was pulled out water spilled all over the floor which we had to clean up as well. The screen door was off track in the master bedroom, and it took several calls to have it fixed which didn't happen until I expressed my concern about it causing issues with an impending storm. The 24/7 support is a joke. You can call and text them but don't expect a quick response to your requests. I notified them of my disappointment in the cleanliness of the unit and about the screen door being off track and didn't hear from an actual person until midday the following day. By this time, I had already cleaned the unit myself, another activity I didn't feel I should have had to do. There is a cleaning fee attached to the cost of the rental and yet I had to clean the unit myself!!!! When they called about my displeasure with the cleaning, I notified them that I had already cleaned it myself. They inquired about the screen door and "did I want someone to come up and fix it?' I said "yes", and they said not to worry if no one was there they would still come in and fix it. We went out to spend our day and returned later to find it hadn't been fixed. I again notified support and was told they " had notified our local operations manager" and they would "work on getting a solution as quickly as possible".

The elevators are a little slow with so many guests on and off.
