We stayed aboard Chads boat during a windy, wet and cold storm at beginning of April. The boat held up well and Chad was reassuring that these weather patterns are not unique. Despite the cold temperatures outside the boat stayed comfortable. The marina is easily accessible to downtown via ferry, 20 minute walk to T line and many other restaurants in Charlestown/North End. Chad is an excellent and welcoming host.

Boat was more spacious in the sitting areas that I thought it would be and kitchen exceeded expectations. Bathrooms are quite small so just be prepared for that, and there are steep stairs you need to navigate. But you can't beat the location - great being in the Charlestown marina.

We had a great time--Chad was very responsive and gave us great tips for the neighborhood, and for getting around. It was tight quarters, but we loved hanging out in the harbor, especially with the full moon.

The yacht was so much fun. In a great location. Hosts are very helpful and have good recommendations. Wish I could have stayed longer!!

Loved every moment of our time on the boat. Convenient to ferry over to Boston Long Wharf and all the historical sites. Chad was fantastic at telling us what we needed to know about the boat and the marina and giving suggestions. He was easy to get in touch with if we had questions or issues. We didn’t have any issues. Will definitely tell our friends and hope to come back another time to stay. Highly recommend!

when viewing VRBO came across a Boat! what an experience!! This boat was very accomidating for the four of us. Beds were extremely comfortable, and just relaxing on the boat was so much better than being in a stuffy hotel room. My siblings were jealous of us and now they want to experience this adventure.

This property were so charming and the hosts are very available if needed and do helpful on all of the local tips and tricks from parking to traffic and water taxis. This was the perfect location for our Boston trip. It was an easy walk to everything and it was so delightful to come back to the boat and sit on the deck in the evenings and play games. It was so comfortable and so much fun!

My only complaint is I wish my family had more time! The boat is within walking distance of so much and it is also easy to call a ride share. We are a family of 5 and utilized the dining nook as a third bed…my son loved his little sleeping nook! Chad and Holly were incredibly helpful and friendly hosts. The boat itself and living space were roomier than I expected them to be!

We weren’t sure what to expect as this was a little out of our comfort zone but it turned out to be one of the most fun experiences. The sunrises were worth waking early for - make a cup of coffee, climb to the deck, and watch the sky turn brilliant colors of red orange and pink. We used the boat shower a couple of times but found it easier to use the Marina showers. We didn’t cook on the boat but the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the boat was cozy and we’d totally do it again. Chad was on the spot for every question and was a welcoming host.

Came to your Boston during April break. Yacht was a welcome change from a hotel room. It was still cool temps given the time of the year but there are heaters provided. Two nicely sized and decorated bedrooms, comfortable beds, great location easily accessible to all kinds of transportation. Nice restaurants close by, with incredible views of the city. People living or staying in the marina are friendly & helpful. Chad is easily accessible and checks in regularly. Our next trip will be in the later spring or summer months and I would definitely stay at this place again. Have already recommended it to friends and family.

Instead of a hotel or house rental we stayed on this yacht. What a fn change of venue. Location, views, and the host were all exceptional.

Our stay on Chad’s yacht was a perfect way to experience Boston. Charlestown is a lovely part of Boston - close to everything, safe, beautiful, and charming! The boat had everything we needed, comfy beds, coffee, beautiful views of Charlestown and the cityscape, convenient parking, and on our last day a Coast Guard cutter even pulled in to dock. So cool! To top it all off, Chad’s hospitality and helpfulness was exceptional. He helpled with our luggage, provided excellent local tips which made our trip that much more special, and even came and picked up bags we couldn’t carry on our own and took them to my car. I could go on and on. We so look forward to returning to Boston and Chad’s boat - I only wish we had stayed longer!

If you are looking for an unique experience, be sure to stay here!! You will not regret it! Chad is an impeccable host and the most relatable person you will meet! This little piece of heaven will make you want to come back again and again. We can’t wait to come back!!

Staying on the boat was a fantastic experience. It accommodated all off us easily and we loved chilling on board. Plenty of places to go to and enjoy. Chad was great and responsive as a host making us very welcome and giving many tips on where to go and eat. I would definitely stay again.

I think we picked the hottest weekend to visit and tour Boston. We are definitely country people, but visiting a big city was on our bucket list. The marina was very quiet, and the people were very welcoming. Good food and local restaurants within walking distance. Chad and Holly were very easy to get ahold of, despite them being on vacation. Staying on the boat felt like an adventure. I would definitely recommend this place.

Staying on the yacht was a fun and unique travel experience for my family! Even during one of the hottest weeks of summer, the a/c kept the boat cool. After long days walking around and touring the city, there was plenty of space for the four of us to spread out (inside and outside) to enjoy being on the water and the views.

Chad and Holly's place in Charlestown Marina is a relaxing bit of paradise in an otherwise busy city that gives you a great place to land after a busy day of site seeing. I would.highly recommend anyone taking a pleasure trip to Boston stay at this fabulous location.

We stayed on the boat while in Boston for our daughter's college graduation. The location was perfect, easy access to great views, food and history. Lovely walk along the waterfront takes you to the Northend. Close to the USS Constitution and Bunker Hill. Chad made the entire stay even more amazing with his A+ hospitality and ideas for places to eat/enjoy. The boat itself was spacious and comfortable. Our only regret was we didn't have enough "down time" during our two night stay to just sit back and relax. Highly recommend!

This was a very unique experience for us. None of us have rented a boat before. It couldn’t have any better. Chad is the best!! He stayed up past midnight to greet us and explain all the amenities of the boat. He was always available to help us and gave many tips for touring Boston. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would!!
