Home is so beautiful. We had plenty of room for 7 adults and a toddler. Kitchen was completely stocked, even a slow cooker was available. Many beach toys, rafts and coolers. This home had it all. We thoroughly enjoyed. Used the golf cart to take everything to the beach. The beach walk could use another step or two since it drops at the end but we had a fabulous vacation. We enjoyed the property very much. The amenities at the Castle were way above anything I've ever experienced. All the beach toys and supplies were great. The kitchen was outfitted with all we needed. And the counter top ice maker was a real plus. You really dont need to bring a thing. Thanks for a great week.

We had a wonderful time at Calvert Castle with all our kids and grandkids. There is plenty of space to spread out. We cooked & grilled. Kitchen is well stocked and plenty of table space to eat. Beach is a very short walk but we also used the golf cart to carry umbrellas and chairs. The kids loved the well maintained pool too. Tennis & pickleball available but we have that at home. We all enjoyed the game room at Calvert Castle, especially when we were finished with beach & swimming. TVs in every room but we hardly watched except to put on “Bluey” for the kids. It’s a short drive for groceries and errands, but we appreciated that the beach was not overly crowded. We loved the neighborhood too. We found a photographer who came to the house and she took family pictures on the beach. Wonderful memories!!! We will definitely come back for the next beach vacation with the whole family.

Our family of 12 had the best time staying in this beautiful house. Rocky is the best host I have ever worked with. He out did himself with all the amenities he provided. The bicycles, golf cart and the game room were a huge hit. This house is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. We had plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. Rocky was very easy to reach with anything we needed. He even bought new beach chairs and beach towels. I have never stayed in a nicer place, where nothing was lacking. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. And the views from all the balconies were outstanding. Our 3-year-old told him mother the morning we were leaving he wanted to stay another week then go home. Anyone looking for a GREAT place to stay while at Gulf Shores, Rocky's house is the place to stay.

Wonderful vacation. Beautiful property with so much to do you can’t do it all in a week!! From the pool table, table tennis, game arcade with so many games, kayaks, tennis and more!! Just a few steps to pool and beach. Golf cart….property had everything you could want or need. Even an automatic countertop ice maker. The back view was the lagoon and front view was the beach. Everything you needed was there down to beach toys and towels. And the house itself was amazing!! Fully stocked with nothing else needed!

A beautiful “castle” well stocked, wonderful location and excellent owner for communication . The entire family loved our time there, especially our times in the game room with pool and ping pong. The weather was brutally cold but we found lots to do. Thank you to Rocky and his wife to give us a beautiful Christmas tree and holiday spirit. This was a great choice and we are extremely happy with our time to enjoy this property.

Honestly could not have asked for anything better! Everything was very clean. Property was amazing! Owners communicated very well to make sure everything was good at check in. Could not ask for a better vacation and property!

This was a WONDERFUL place for a large group or family. It's also a great place for someone with a disability. There is an elevator, electric golf cart, and even a wheelchair available for use. There were also thoughtful details the owner handled, like labeling each cabinet in the kitchen with its contents. I was pleasantly surprised with how much there was for us to enjoy - beach chairs, beach toys, pool table, gaming table, ping pong - lots of extra things for all ages. Plenty of dishes and utensils for us to use. Thanks to Calvert Castle for such a great week!

Awesome accommodations! Very clean and well equipped kitchen with whatever you could possibly need and more! The family loved the game room with ping pong and pool table .and arcade game. We also loved the water views from almost every window. Our host was very quick and helpful with any questions. We would definitely rent this home again.

From start to finish Ricky was great to work with. Although the house is not directly on the beach, beach access is made easy with limo golf cart! We had a great time and would highly recommend this property for your vacation!

House is excellent, with easy access to beach. Beach was not as crowded as in the main beach area because of the exclusiveness of the neighborhood. Took full advantage of community pool and tennis courts, but also games in the house (Pac-Man, ping pong, & pool table). The host was always very responsive and nice. Our family loved it and didn’t want to leave.

The home was set up perfectly for 3 families. Very close to the beach and golf cart was a big help.

Rocky had everything we needed for a relaxed, comfortable stay. From the kitchen to the bathrooms we had everything we needed except for our personal effects. Highly recommend the Calvert Castle as your next vacation stay in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

The house was beautiful, beyond comfortable.... accommodations couldn't have been any better. Absolutely would recommend to anyone. Rocky was beyond helpful and answered all of questions and concerns.

We would definitely book this home again, it has everything you’d need for a family vacation. It beautifully decorated and has spectacular views, not to mention, just one minute by golf cart to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the community tennis courts and pool too. The owners Rocky and his wife have gone out of their way to make your vacation experience the best they were awesome to deal with.

This home is beautiful. We loved our entire week. The beach access in this neighborhood is super convenient especially when you use the golf cart. The beach was beautiful, not crowded clean and the sand was soft. The community pool looked nice, only a couple of us dared use it, March was too cold for swimming in the pool. The house was great! the pool table and ping pong table were loved by all. The balconies on the 3rd floor had beautiful views. The kitchen was super well stocked. The host even ordered a new crockpot incase the crockpot they had there wasn’t big enough. They had almost every small appliance I could think of including an airfryer! The elevator made loading and unloading super convenient also. The only negative I can think is if you are needing 6 bedrooms be prepared that one of the rooms the only beds are pull out beds that aren’t comfortable and there isn’t really a bathroom that’s convenient without going through another bedroom to use. We truly loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to rent the culvert castle again.
