Loved our stay. sleeping with the window open and listening to the waterfall was so wonderful.

We had a nice relaxing stay, very quiet and peaceful area. Only small problem was the coffee maker wasn't clean, had to spend about 30 minutes cleaning it before using it. Not a huge deal and nice of them to provide filters/coffee.

3 of us stayed at the adorable property and were very comfortable. Sitting in the yard listening to and watching the waterfall was perfect. You are close to town but feel very secluded. The hostess communicated well and had everything we needed.

When we pulled into the property we almost left thinking we got scammed. The property is very overgrown and unmaintained. This was described as a cottage but it's actually an apartment. We didn't use the outdoor area as the table and chairs were dirty, the torches were all broken and the yard was unkept. Not very inviting. The view was obstructed by overgrown trees and weeds. The apartment was clean. The bed was amazing.

Came for 3 days to visit Cornell with my daughter and this home was perfect. Small, yet not lacking anything, rustic but lacking none of the modern tech. The backyard waterful, fire pit and views are worth the stay alone. Would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed at this VRBO listing and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. The coziness of the cabin, coupled with the surrounding natural beauty made for a perfect relaxing getaway. The bed was so comfortable and the fireplace really added to the cozy atmosphere. While we enjoyed staying in and chilling out, we also appreciated the convenience of having everything we needed close by. When we decided to venture out to eat, restaurants and conveniences were just a short distance away. I highly recommend this VRBO listing to anyone looking for comfort and convenience in a beautiful natural setting.

This is the most perfect location! Really secluded with your own drive, entrance and waterfall and lake views, but only a 10 minute drive to downtown Ithaca.
The property was really comfortable and cosy and really clean.
It's really close to both Taughannock Falls and Watkins Glen, which are both a must!
Cornell is also the most beautiful campus I have seen!
I would 100% recommend and I am already dreaming of visiting again!

The two of us and our dog were cozy and comfortable in this 2 room cabin. it was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable. There are steps into the cabin and up into the bedroom so someone with mobility issues might have a hard time. The area felt safe. 10-15 minutes to many hiking trails with waterfalls. 10 minutes to the center of town with shopping and restaurants. 11 wineries with the farthest being 35 minutes away. There are also museums for adults and children. We had only 2 days to explore the area but we will definitely return to the area and rent this cabin again.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay that feasts the eyes as soon as you look out the window, this is it. If you are looking for luxury and amenities, this is not the place for you. My husband and our 2 dogs enjoyed it very much, getting away from it all is what we were looking for.

Wine by the falls in the evening. Coffee by the falls in the morning. Secluded, yet so close to Ithaca, great parks and wineries. And did i mention? There is a waterfalls! It's all good

We’ve been making a short distance trip to Ithaca as a getaway. Close to State Theatre & restaurants.

Overall just perfect location and absolutely loved the sound of the waterfall outside the bedroom window

The bathroom was very small for average sized people…however the shower was nice and plenty of towels and amenities
There are 2 steps up /down to the bedroom
Which was fine but could be hazardous if need to use the restroom in the middle of night
Glad I brought a nightlight
There are 3 steps into the rental so again be aware of this as you carry in luggage and bags
My only recommendation is to have the patio area cleaned and set up with table and chairs that are clean would have been nice as it is right by the waterfall

Although the cottage is only one and a half miles from downtown Ithaca, the property is spacious, quiet and private. The cottage is very clean and tidy and apparently recently updated. The property's waterfalls and view of the lake from above make this my best rental ever!

We had a good time renting this property, the backyard waterfalls are beautiful, their sound at anything is incredible, view at Cayuga lake is incredible. Great location close to town, privacy is really appreciate. House matchs the description in the app, but honestly needs a little more of maintenance and some updates, especially in the couches. At this time it would be nice if the foliage in front of the falls were trimmed to have a better appreciation of them. The property has a lot of potential that needs to be improved.
Besides that we had a great time.

This property is pretty run down. Very musty/moldy smell greets you at the door. You can't open many windows, due to only two of them having screens (many bugs to keep out). There is not a decent chair to use...only two uncomfortable futons that are supposed to pass for couches. A/C unit in the living room doesn't do much for the bedroom. Decent bed and bathroom.

We enjoyed a few days away to relax and explore the local wineries. The location is close to a wide selection of wineries and plenty of shopping and dining options as well. Highly recommend at least on evening with a fire and view of the beautiful waterfall during your stay.

The driveway entrance is a little tricky and the road back on the highway is difficult to see traffic . The exterior of the vrbo appears unkempt but inside is clean and comfortable .

My husband and I stayed here for a three day weekend. It is minutes from the city of Ithaca and a few state parks. It is also very close to wineries. The queen bed was fairly comfortable. I would not put anyone on the futons unless they are children or young adults. We loved the view of the lake and the waterfall and enjoyed the quietness and seclusion of the property. It is in a neighborhood, but you can barely see the houses on either side. This property looks like a work in progress and the price reflects that. It fit our needs fine and made a great home base after hiking and visiting wineries.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Loved having an open window and hearing the waterfall while sleeping and the view of the lake! We went hiking and the trails were a close drive. Would definitely return

First time Ithaca visitors and we will be back! Stay was quiet with the amazing waterfall right outside to enhance the ambiance! Residence fit our budget and needs since we enjoy the outdoors. Will definitely try to book again when I go back!

Since we were coming to the area for an event at Cornell University, I was happy to find this place as it is only 15 minutes to campus, safe neighborhood, plenty of parking, excellent instructions & directions from owner, and lovely view of the lake and a gushing waterfall right next to the property! The space is attached to the main house and could definitely use some TLC! It is clean, but a bit shabby on the inside. The front door is in need of repair, if a guest is over 6 feet tall, their head will touch the ceiling in the bedroom (My husband is 6'3"!), No extra blankets or bedding if someone wanted to use the futon in living room, But, we were only staying two nights so we were not there that much, so for us it was fine!

If you are looking for a quaint place to stay in heart of Ithaca this is a great spot for a sweet weekend in the fingerlakes. This is a rustic older one bedroom addition and attached ti a larger home. It is perfect for 2-4 people. Owner has everything you need to cook and have a lovely stay.

This place was very nice.
Loving waterfalls it was wonderful to have one in the yard. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't the best which made it difficult to enjoy time in the yard. On Saturday we attempted to do the walk described on the fridge, but the water was running so hard we were unable to cross the water. We did drive to a few very nice waterfall hikes and several wineries which we enjoyed very much.
Everything was clean and we had all we needed as far as kitchen utensils, etc. We would love to stay here again if we are ever in the area again.

My wife and I went to Ithaca to see our favorite band. The show was cancelled the day before our trip. We decided to go anyways and had an amazing time. The location is amazing, literally 5 mins from anywhere in Ithaca. We went on a couple of hikes and did some shopping at the commons. We even got to see a 6 story tree house at the Cayuga Nature Center (we saw a pamphlet at the cottage). Strongly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax with access to lots of different and fun activities near by.

Nice cottage overlooking Cayuga Lake, sunrises are beautiful. Waterfall in back is relaxing. Black diamond trail is neat. Nice getaway for a couple.

Cottage was amazingly clean . Outside is a bit rough but we overlooked it because of the view. The grill is charcoal not gas so bring some supplies with you. Owner was very communicative.
End of the road so peaceful and quiet and close to everything we needed.
