The house was exactly as described - modern, clean, comfortable. The check-in was seamless. The host checked in via text before and during our stay to make sure that we were all set and had everything we needed. When we requested extra towels they arrived very quickly. The property has all of the travel amenities you might need. Wifi was better than any rental property I've ever stayed in. There was a welcome gift basket that was a very generous touch and the team went above and beyond after one of our guests had a run-in with an elk on the drive up. Excellent stay - highly recommend. We recently stayed at this house with extended family members during the summer months; it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Check-in and communication were easy with the home host. All the instructions, directions and other lead up to arrival made the journey to our destination seamless and stress free. The house itself is modern, spacious and well appointed. It's clear they've thought about everything guests would need from cookware to toiletries. Rooms have extremely comfy beds and plenty of bedding, pillows, etc. If I recall rooms were either en suite or had a full bathroom immediately nearby. The downstairs play room is perfect for kids to play in with the ping pong table, large couch, bean bags and bar. The outdoor area has a deck, hot tub and great view of the small greenway type park behind the house. One thing to note is there is an enormous amount of building and construction in the immediate vicinity. It didn't bother any of the adults or kids nor was the noise an issue. One thing that caught us Texans off guard were the spiders in the basement so be aware of that, they seemed large to us! Overall we can't recommend this place enough! It's a great place to enjoy and base out of while in Steamboat.

Beautiful, spacious, new, modern home with everything you need. Grandkids loved the large basement and bunk room. Flat area with open grass behind house so grandkids had fun playing outside. Pool, tennis and pickleball just a walk away and easy drive to anywhere else. Patio was great in the morning for coffee and in the shade in the afternoon to enjoy the rest of the day with nice views of the mountains. It would be nice to replace one of the 3 upstairs queen beds with a king. Steamboat Lodging staff very helpful and accommodating as were Winter Park Lodging staff last year.

This property was ideal for accommodating large groups and As such can accommodate small as well. Amenities were great. Couldn't have been happier with this property.

The home was well stocked with everything we needed and the beds/bedding was wonderful. The shuttle service and access the the gondola were awesome! Highly recommend this property

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay in Wildhorse Sanctuary! The house is so great. We had multiple families and everyone had space. The kitchen was stocked great, hot tub and grill were nice to have, living spaces, large and comfortable. The location is perfect for skiing! It would have been nice to have a few more bath towels, and some games/puzzles would be a nice ammenity! Hope to be back next year!

This is a beautiful, very new home, in a great neighborhood just “below” the main ski village. While not ski in, ski out, it is really the next best thing. No need for a shuttle to ski, you have an easy five minute walk to a private gondola that takes you right up to the heart of the main Steamboat gondola square. It is very convenient. All aspects of the listing are very accurate. We had eight adults, a 2 year old and an infant and had room to spare. The main floor kitchen, dining room and great room are beautiful and well appointed. The downstairs family room/game room is a lot of fun and doors can be closed to keep loud voices there from carrying. All bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable, well appointed and nicely designed. The house has a nice Sonos system which is very easy to use. Also, there are large, easy to use televisions everywhere. The management team is very engaged and communicated quickly with us. You have access to a nice, heated garage, with one stall open. The owner’s own auto is in the second stall. We did not rent a car and instead used the free shuttle around town, which worked out really well. That leaves plenty of space for boots and equipment in the garage. The kitchen is very well appointed, except the pots and pans are minimally acceptable in our view. There are plenty but they are either cheap and thin or in the case of two non-stick skillets, the surface is abraded and flaking. This is really the only area we noticed that was anything less than perfect. We did remark to the management team who hopefully will address the issue. It is a $500 issue holding back a beautiful multi-million house. Overall this is a fantastic house in a great location. We had a great week there.

This was the first opportunity for me and my family to have vacation since Covid. And I have to say I couldn't have picked a better property to break back into vacation-mode! The most important thing for me when renting a house like this is the communication, and from the very beginning, it was exceptional. It provides such a great deal of comfort to know that you're dealing with professionals and courteous and sincere hosts, like Steamboat Lodging Company. They made us feel so comfortable and at ease, and could not have been more gracious. Upon checking into the property it was exactly as described, immaculately clean and beautiful (they must have an incredible cleaning staff I'm sure!) The home is beautifully furnished with modern state of the art amenities, and the kitchen is very chef friendly. The bathrooms are immaculate & the beds are extremely comfortable. The whole house is warm and cozy and there's a lot of space. Very impressed with the neighborhood, upper scale, with the nicest neighbors. Everybody is so friendly as you're walking around, and people say hello (such a nice change!) Highly recommend Wildhorse Sanctuary & the Steamboat Lodging Company.
