We enjoyed this very clean, updated, comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood! The beds were comfortable, and everything we needed in the kitchen was provided. Our only suggestion is that a lamp is needed in the bedroom with twin beds. We would stay there again.

Property was as described! Comfortable and clean! We had 2 issues. I called for two days and my calls were never returned. We could not find the remote for the fireplace and the nights were chilly. We had no code to the garage door. We had to close the garage door then walk back through the house. We were very happy with everything else. What’s the point of having a contact if they don’t return the calls?

We enjoyed the house. We loved the atmosphere and wished we would have booked it for longer !!

I stayed here for a girls weekend and the house was perfect! Clean, cozy and more spacious than we thought! Plus, it was listed at a great price point. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very comfortable, clean and cutely decorated home. The owner has taken great care to ensure their visitors have a good stay and the informational notebook is very helpful. Being three women by ourselves, the garage helped us feel very safe when returning at night. The back porch and yard, including the fantastic play set for children is a real plus. There are a couple of suggestions for improvement, but please don’t let these discourage you since these are very fixable and it’s obvious the owner cares about providing a beautiful home. Upon arrival, we noticed the fireplace smell from the previous renters. It wasn’t pleasant, but we were able to get rid of the smell by the next day by opening some windows and the back door. (Perhaps the fireplace should only be decorative and not used by the renters.) There was no soap/body wash in the showers, no shampoo or soap in one bath. Thankfully HEB is close by and we were able to take care of this. Extra suggestions would be to install grab bars in the tub/showers for elderly people since Fredericksburg attracts a good number of older visitors as well as a shade or curtain on the kitchen window. I’d also replace the two missing frame pieces around the bathroom mirror. I feel very confident these small items will be taken care of since so much care has been taken with this home.

Place was very clean and instructions were perfect. Beds were very comfortable and everyone was pleased with our selection!

We enjoyed our stay at Blue Door Haus! The bedrooms and sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group. Comfy beds. Home location was quiet and convenient to what we wanted to do. Well-kept home. Typical wear of an older home.

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful home! My grandchildren had fun on the swingset in the backyard. Kitchen was stocked well with pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, etc. Nice and quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here in the future!

We usually stay at the RV park or a hotel but this time we decided to try a VRBO. Our first one and it was amazing! Super clean. The kids room was decorated so that even my 10 yr olds enjoyed it. We loved that everyone had their own space and we could cook a few meals and not eat out at every meal. Thank you!

Very accommodating for our group (4 adults and 3 kids age 5/8/11). Kids loved playing in backyard, and the house was accommodating, well-stocked, clean, and comfortable. Maybe a 3 minute drive to main eating and shopping. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.

Our first stay at this rental. One of our many trips to Fredericksburg. Such good times. This property is extremely close to the best of everything Fredericksburg has to offer. Shopping, restaurants and wine. We love the spacious house and extremely comfortable beds. The bedrooms and size of beds were a bonus. Loved the double bed and twin in one room. It worked out great for my daughter, husband and 2-year-old. This home is little kid friendly. My grandson enjoyed playing on the "playground" every chance he got. This home does not disappoint. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The house was everything we hoped for. Very clean. My friends and myself had a wonderful time and also felt safe in the neighborhood.

Loved everything about the home. To start, it was very clean and had exactly what we needed. From the coffee pods to napkins, you can tell that the owner wanted us to have a great stay. It is very close to downtown and made for an easy drive. Also, the neighborhood is very quiet and allowed for a great nights rest. I would definitely come back to this home when traveling to Fredericksburg again.

The Blue Door is lovely. They have taken care of every detail. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and had everything we needed to make us feel at home. The house had everything that we needed except for an ice maker. We brought our own ice and had a great time.

The Blue Door Haus was great for our family with kids (3 of them). They had a great big backyard with a play set. It was easy to get to Enchanted Rock & downtown. Neighborhood was quiet. When we come again we will be renting this again.

Came to celebrate my future daughter in law. The house was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful stay. Perfect for our family get together with other family who live just outside of Fredericksburg. Lots of extras I didn’t expect like a welcome Wine and snacks- great after a long and difficult drive in the rain. Would love to come back.
