The house was comfortable and well equipped for a family vacation. The pool table occupied kids and adults after a long day spent on the island, wifi available, there was extra mattresses for a group of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids), enjoyed bbq out at the huge deck. Quick reponse from the owner. We would stay again.

Fantastic place at a fantastic spot

Spacious property that more than catered for a group of 8. Self contained property made our stay comfortable and easy to prep for. Short drive to the resort. Beautiful deck area with BBQ made cooking dinners outside easy and an enjoyable experience to share with friends. Would definitely stay here again.

Very spacious and well presented.

Property is spacious and has everything you need for an extended Frazer island long weekend with your family. The kitchen is fully equipped, comfortable indoor and outdoor dining options, great dvd and board game collection. You do have to drive down the hill to access kingfisher facilities but that is clearly stated upfront and there was always parking to get coffee or access the beach, restaurants and pool. We hope to come back soon, highly recommended.

This property was great for an adult family group. The entertainment area, kitchen and deck was fabulous for a large group. The house was great for capturing the breezes and we didn’t need to use the air conditioner. Loved our stay.

A great house in a good location, house manager made the directions and check in process easy! Only downfalls were the cleanliness as the kitchen had an odour that seemed to be originating from the fridge that I had to wipe out before use. The spa wasn’t working and the dishwasher also failed to run its cycle so ended up hand washing for our stay. These issues didn’t detract from our stay however, great little house.

This house is great if you are sharing with other families, enough for kids to have a play when raining.

What a beautiful home for our recent family holiday. A slight issue with bedding description but the serene setting and gorgeous big verandah were just perfect. House facilities were spot on.

Great property but a little tucked away. Good for a group of friends but if you want to explore the east coast of the island then potentially look at something on that side.

Enjoyed staying at this home. Beautiful surroundings, clean, spacious areas, very well-equipped kitchen, the only thing missing was a clothes horse/clothes rack as it rained and there was nowhere to hang our wet clothes. Thank you for sharing your home.

Good location near the barge and resort (not walking distance). Around 40 mins to lake Mackenzie and 2 hrs to Eli creek. House was comfortable, has a huge deck and was big enough for our group 6 adults and 1 child 1 baby. Porta cot was provided but not very comfortable for Bub unfortunately as there seemed to be a pole running through the middle. Bring your own if you have a Bub. No wifi but there is phone signal. Hand soap is provided but no shower soap. Could use some paper towel and glad wrap and containers for the kitchen. Also no tea, sugar and coffee only for the machine. Kitchen well stocked with plates, pots ect even a slow cooker which was great so we could put dinner on in the morning with nothing to do except eat after a long day out. Owner was very helpful when needed.

This house was really well equipped for a large family vacation and would suit 2 or 3 families. We stayed over the Xmas period and found the location excellent in terms of accessibility to the island and also being able to use resort facilities. The pool table came in very handy for all the kids and adults!! Plenty of beds and extra mattresses. Kitchen was fantastic and really well laid out with lots of plates, serving bowls, electric appliances, utensils, etc. We would stay again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The pool table kept us entertained in the evenings. It was nice to have a bbq on the deck. The bathrooms, kitchen and floors were nice and clean. There was some mold on the curtains but with regular rain I understand it would be hard to keep on top of. A few small things would have made the stay more comfortable like providing tea towels or letting the guest know to bring them. Let people know to bring ground coffee if they want to use the coffee machine. There wasn't any handwash for the main bathroom. As we had 7 adults we needed to use the sofa bed/mattresses downstairs, the sofa bed and innerspring mattresses were not in good condition and very uncomfortable for adults, ( I understand the property has changed ownership recently and the new owners are trying to make everything nice and have already replaced some items) I would suggest getting rid of the sofa bed and providing another double bed or bunk beds downstairs, the house is big and its good to be able to share the cost with friends or family but everyone needs to sleep well. Some of the pillows were uncomfortable. The showerhead in the main bathroom has a slit in the pipe and sprays out water and the kitchen tap was leaking water onto the bench. Washing machine is small. They have a hose which was good to be able to clean the car. We enjoyed being able to go to the resort for a meal out. Take insect repellant, there were alot of March flies.

Very relaxing with forest and ocean views. It's a drive/steep walk from the resort but still handy to everything. We'll be back

Nice enough place to stay. Comfy beds, but a few other things could definitely use an upgrade - especially the couches in the lounge room upstairs. Would be nice to have a compendium letting people know that they can use resort facilities, maybe an island map and a walking track guide and some general house info. Eg hot water needs to be on full hot and then only lasted a couple of minutes before going cold. Started getting better by the 3rd day. Toaster should be replaced (some of the elements weren't working), also a couple of the downlights inside had blown. I understand the house has just changed ownership so I'm sure you would be going through everything anyway. Don't think I'd stay on this side of the island again, but that's just personal preference.

We had a fantastic time at kingfisher. The house fits two families comfortably and is in a great location. The house does need some minor attention especially with cooking appliances. The downstairs area needs some type of blinds or dark curtains so the kids don’t wake up with the sun. With these simple fixes we would definitely stay there again

We had a great time on our visit to Fraser Island. We decided to get a house instead of camping and we are so glad we made the decision to do so. The house was clean and there was plenty of space for us. The house was close to the resort so we were able to use the facilities and we had a wonderful meal at the Sand Bar. I would recommend to bring extra eskys as there wasn't enough fridge space for all of our food/drinks and also more bath towels. The main bedroom was lovely with the spa and double shower. Thank you to Anthony for having us, we will be back again one day for sure.

The property was very spacious and clean. It had all of the comforts from home. Loved the huge deck as we used the bbq a lot. It is a Short stroll to the resort and beach. Very helpful and friendly owners. Highly recommend this property to a group of friends or a couple of families.
