Fantastic location with views of the beach and close to cafe and beach walks. Great fenced yard for our dog to enjoy. Comfortable beds and couches. Bathrooms clean and modern. Kitchen had everything we needed. Unusual set up with 2 separate buildings but it wasn't a problem. Very relaxing stay.

This house suited our needs perfectly. We had family fly in from Queensland and the airport was so easy to navigate. Location for small children on a wet weekend was great. We could get to the beach and park in between showers. Great starter pack and provision of basic kitchen and bbq utensils. We will be back again.

Property was great. Well prepared and presented all as offered. My only comment is on garbage bins as both were very full when we arrived. We will be back! Terrific stay.

Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd time at Fingal bay beach house over the New Year period and it was amazing with both our elderly mothers who occupied the studio and my husband and I occupied the main house, we spent majority of our mornings and afternoons either out in the breezeway or on the front deck watching the beautiful waves roll in. This has to be one of the best holiday rentals we have stayed in at Port Stephens for functionality and position, close to the water for that amazing beach walk, places to eat, grab a cold afternoon beverage or just a quick drive into shoal bay for some of the most beautiful Greek food at Atmos with a sneaky gelato at the jetty gelato. Highly recommend booking this place won’t disappoint. I have given a 3 star for cleanliness due to our arrival of having to clean under the dinning table/lounge with food still visible and clean the toilet from previous tenants that had been missed by cleaners but it was the only downfall of our holiday.

I have even found spider webs behind the sofa and under the bed. Floor wasn’t clean so wanted to vacuum it but the vacuum cleaner wasn’t working. There weren’t proper cleaning tools like broom and tray. And the company deducted 100$ from my bond money. Why is that? We cleaned place best as we can. There wasn’t any cleaning materials like cloths and chemicals. But we cleaned kitchen and barbecue area well. There is no way to clean floor. Vacuum is not working. And we were guests not cleaners. Booking fee should be included cleaning fee too.

Both houses could use a big Spring Clean, but it was fine when we were there & I would still rate cleanliness a 4 out of 5.Beds were so comfortable, great shower pressure, loved the outdoor kitchen with the bbq. The doors opening to the verandah were my favourite. Can't wait to stay there again.

A great beach house, in a fantastic location. 50m to the beach and 50m to great coffee in the other direction, plus supermarket. House was clean and well set up, with two separate living areas and a fantastic outdoor area. Great for families and our little toy cavoodle loved her stay also. Fingal Bay is stunning and the walk to Barry's Park which has a great lookout for the sunrise is a relaxed 10min stroll. Would highly recommend this beachhouse.

They say we have to leave it in the same unused conditon we found it, but provide no cleaning products. I searched but found, no vaccuum, no broom, not even a dustpan. This makes their requirements unreasonable for travellers in my opinion. We complied with all the requirements we were able to. Bins out/all dishes cleaned/dried away/BBQ cleaned. Really disappointed to have such a sour taste left after our holiday.

Reviewer Comments: would def recommend this property! the two seperate cottages are fantastic if u want to seperate the sleeping arrangements with family or friends. the proximity to the beach is also excellent! fingal beach is such a great beach for little kids we had a ball and the weather was unfortunately terrible but we still made the most of it. will def book again! the only thing that needed replacing is the second cottage shower head, and the outdoor kitchen needed airing it smelt of bbq grease - but neither of these really bothered us.

A lovely relaxing place for a family holiday

Lovely home with all you need. Great setup for 2 small families. We loved the outdoor kitchen and patio area. So close to the beach and short stroll to a supermarket, cafe/bakery and bottleshop. Excellent location would definitely go back.
