Pros: Such a wonderful apartment and location. The views are out of this world and the apartment itself is beautifully presented and has everything you could possibly want. It was great staying here with a one-year-old as it had everything we needed. Jacqui was so helpful and waited a long time for us when we were delayed at the airport. My parents had a timeshare for 20 years at Dona Lola and we were so happy to be there again, and it was made even better because of the apartment. Thank you Jacqui, we hope to be back soon.

The owner was very welcoming on arrival and very helpful through the complete planning and booking stages. We would highly recommend the apartment, the resort and the area. Pros: The view from the balcony is magnificent. We spent many lovely meals on the balcony . The master bedroom is also fabulous, with sweeping views over the coast. Communication was excellent , everything easy, nothing too much trouble. We will be back.

Pros: This property requires a deep clean. On arrival, the fridge freezer was found to be so dirty we had to set to and clean it before we could put any food in it. Likewise the oven was so dirty it was unusable. Both appliances were unhygienic and not fit for purpose. Bedding thin, worn and stained. Insufficient back stock for bedding changes. Food cupboards filled with abandoned goods some dating back to 2014. Bathroom cabinet filled with discarded toiletries including used razor and toothbrush. Wardrobes had too much rubbish in them that should have been stored elsewhere. Sofa dirty and smelly. Aircon units dirty and spitting out balls of black dirt when operational. Microwave didn't work and was told not to use it as it might catch fire. Coffee machine filthy with dead spiders. Alternative rusty and unusable. Went out and bought new cafetiere. Entrance door lock developed a fault, we were accused of damaging it and would have to pay for a locksmith. Maid service advertised but non existent. Had to wash bedding and towels ourselves. Advertised as including leisure club facilities included. Not true, were asked to pay 59 euros on arrival. No complaints book on the premises. Balcony furniture, including metal airer rusting and dirty. Overall, a very bad experience, booked in for 3 weeks but only stayed for 2 in view of the circumstances described above. Full range of photographs taken to prove how lacking this apartment has been. Though we have been refunded for the 3rd. week, the Owner's attitude has been very poor and they are known locally as being difficult to deal with. They are currently withholding our £100 deposit and we have been told, again, locally, that this is a practice they routinely adopt when guests have departed. We are not prepared to allow them to withhold our deposit as we left this apartment in a far cleaner condition than when it was given to us and we have again taken a full range of photographs to prove this. We know that they do not currently have a licence to operate this holiday let and we will make sure that the Town Hall is aware of the problems we have had with this accommodation. We require the immediate return of our deposit and in full.
