The property is beautiful and excellent in amenities. We enjoyed the location to our wedding events, food and the beach. We had an incident at 4:30am on January 7th. A six year old fell out of the top bunk closest to the window and broke his arm. He was taken to the ER in Brunswick where he was treated with a splint until he can have the necessary surgery later this week in their hometown of Lincoln, NE.

As always we had an amazing trip to St. Simons. This house was the perfect fit for our two families and was simply lovely. We appreciated the pool and outdoor activities as well as easy and close proximity and access to the beach.

Great property! Very clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable and the backyard was amazing. The layout is perfect for large families with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. The neighborhood is also very quiet. Highly recommend this property!

This house was awesome! The pictures and the description were very accurate and the house appeared to be new or newly remodeled and was very clean and well equipped and well maintained. My wife and I plus 2 adult children and their spouses and 3 young grandchildren stayed in the house and everyone enjoyed it. St Simons Island is now a favorite beach town for our family.

I can’t speak highly enough of the property and our experience at The Oyster. Our family, with 6 adults and 5 kids, had the perfect amount of space. The house was so clean, beautifully updated, and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were ideal for the kids and adults. We had a ping pong table, cornhole set and firepit for additional fun. It was less than a 10 min walk to the beach, super easy, and they equipped us with beach chairs, tent and toys. We were so close to downtown for retail therapy and delicious restaurants, but we didn’t spend too much time there as we wanted to enjoy the house as much as we could. We had the best trip in the absolute best house on the island... we highly recommend!! We will be back for sure!

Great place, great location.

There were 12 of us, 6 adults and 6 kids (3-10). We had a wonderful time at the Oyster! The kids loved the backyard with the pool, ping-pong, corn hole and room to play. The short walk to the beach through the neighborhood was easy access. The kitchen is very well-equipped, and the openess of the layout allowed us to enjoy being together. The only negative was the property manager did not respond to several texts I sent, however, the realty did and answered my questions quickly. Great place to stay!!

The Oyster more than met our expectations and needs. Excellently designed home…the location, cleanliness, amenities and layout were ideal. The screened porch and fire pit were huge hits, along with the heated pool and hot tub. Plenty of beach accessories with a cart to haul them in made the walk to the beach easier. While there were delays in communication on the front side of checkin, afterwards they were quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an incredible time at the Oyster House. Everything was exactly as pictured/described. They have thought of every detail and the layout and amenities are perfect for a fun filled weekend with family and friends. Jordan, the house manager, went above and beyond and was super helpful and accommodating from booking to check-out and beyond. We will be back!

We just got home from spending a week at the Oyster and we all agreed that this was one of our favorite vacations ever. We had three families which included three small children under the age of 5. The house itself exceeded my (already high) expectations. The location is great, the interior design was stunning, and there were so many wonderful amenities to enjoy. We loved our experience here and will definitely be returning on our next trip to SSI!

The house was amazing perfect setup for parents and young adults.

This is a great property! Everything has been updated, including the appliances in the pool. The house was very clean when we got there. Also, we had a fix on the hot water pump for the pool that happened that week and the property management noticed it about the same time we did because it was off-line and had it fixed the next day! The house is a great distance from the beach in two different directions. This made it easy for us to get back-and-forth. Also, the beds were very comfy.

We loved everything about the house. Perfect place for our three families. We’ll be back!

Here on St Simon for a short weekend and the Oyster was a perfect home base for everyone of all ages. Really appreciated everything about our stay and the listing is spot on. We stayed for a golf trip and the property fit our needs perfectly. There was plenty of room and the amenities were fantastic. Great backyard and pool area. Would stay here again.

Three generations of our family gather in St. Simons each year to celebrate Thanksgiving. The "Oyster" was the perfect property for our family. The grandchildren enjoyed the back yard amenities, and the adults had every comfort they needed. We hope to return to the "Oyster" for next year's celebration.

Beautiful place to celebrate our parents 50th anniversary, with ample space for three families. It's picture-perfect and we had a great time.

My friends and I loved our stay at The Oyster and all that it had to offer! The location of the home was perfect walking distance to the beach and we enjoyed walking by the marsh in the evening. Sitting on the front porch in the evening watching the sunset was wonderful! The home had 2 wings of bedrooms which was perfect for our guests, given some went to bed earlier then others. The backyard is a true oasis - ample seating, large pool + hot tub, ping pong table, lounge seating - a TOTAL DREAM!

Had an amazing time at The Oyster! The house is immaculate and perfect for my small group of friends who enjoyed a weekend at the beach. The property manager was great to work with and accommodate our unexpected late arrival. Five stars all around! Will definitely book again!

If you're thinking about coming to SSI, this is THE PLACE to stay! My husband, myself, and friends, all stayed here over Memorial Weekend and we had a wonderful time. A few of my favorite things to point out: 1. The check-in process was super easy. As we were en route to SSI, a lovely lady named Jordan (I believe she is the property manager) gave us a welcoming courtesy call explaining how to access the house, along with fabulous recommendations on the closest grocery stores, restaurant recommendations and more. It truly was a small-town experience that made a wonderful first impression - before we even arrived! 2. When we arrived to the house, it was like we walked into one of those homes you see on HDTV...it was beautiful! The spacious kitchen came with everything we could ever need plus more, the bathrooms were stocked with all the toiletries, and the beds were super comfortable. There was even one bedroom that had a four person bunk bed (great idea if you have kids). 3. The backyard had everything - fire pit, grill, pool, hot tub and room for lawn games. It felt like such a private luxurious experience. We certainly took advantage of the grill and made burgers one night, and kabobs another. 4. The beach access point was an easy walk from the house, right at the top of the street. Can life get any better? Thank you so much for a fabulous weekend of fun! We will be coming back for future holidays!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Oyster. The home is fully equipped with everything you could imagine from the interior to exterior. We enjoyed cooking in the open kitchen while still being able to engage with family in the living/dining room or keep an eye on those in the pool area from the large kitchen windows. The pool and hot tub are a true retreat and we didn't want to leave! We loved how close we were to the beach and enjoyed watching the sunset over the marsh from the front porch. We will be returning clients for years to come!
