This was a the perfect size for me and the neighborhood felt very safe. Kitchen and bathroom had everything I needed. Bed was very comfortable and I slept great. Easy check in and check out and the host was very responsive.

We really enjoyed our walks to local hangouts. Park your car in the provided carport and walk the boardwalk or Abbot Kinney Blvd or Main St to Santa Monica or go for a run on the boardwalk from Venice to Will Roger’s State park.

Overall, this stay was great, very clean, comfortable and walking distance to Abbot Kinney and the center of Venice Beach. It’s everything one could hope for in a mid level rental in the area. It’s quite close to neighboring houses so definitely not where one would want to have late night noisy guests, out of respect for the neighbors. The parking is super convenient as well. The cottage has a slight moldy smell, but it’s older and close to the beach, so impacted by the dampness of the marine layer in the mornings. The host was very responsive and directions for checkin were clear and easy to follow. I would stay here again. Highly recommended.

Great communication with the host. Location is easy to get to and close to the beach. The best part was at the beach. The place was not as clean as the pictures. It could use a professional house cleaning service, gardener, and fresh paint. Patio uninviting full of leaves. Neighbors upstairs was noisy at night we got little to no sleep. We will not be staying here again.

This house had everything we needed and was very comfortable, tidy and clean! The location is absolutely perfect. The main local shops, restaurants and the beach are within a few blocks. The residential area is very safe and friendly. Marnie was an amazing host and stayed in contact with us to make sure all was well. The carport was just around the corner was handy and safe to park our rental vehicle. We both would 100% stay at this house again!

We fell in love the second we walked in! My sisters and I booked this place for a fun vacation to be close to the beach but also be in the heart of LA to see all the fun things the city has to offer and this stay was perfect! It was so cozy and tucked away yet still so close to the heart of all the action. The beach being only a 7 min walk was fantastic. Would absolutely recommend!!

What to say when staying in a historic bungalow within walking distance to shops and the beach? We had a great time during the day and enjoyed the night life too.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this little house where we stayed for 2 weeks. The location is perfect to reach Abott Kinney Road and Venice Beach, you have a parking lot for the car, and the two bikes made it very convenient to move around. The communication with our host was prompt and very friendly. We loved it!

The bungalow was just as advertised. Very comfortable for a couple and a short walk to restaurants.

We were very happy with our stay here. The house was bigger inside than I thought it would be from the pictures. The neighbourhood was very nice and safe yet still close to main streets and attractions and we used the bicycles included to make the short ride to the beach/boardwalk and to the canal neighbourhood. Although there was parking included in the carport there was almost always a space available on the street right outside the front door and I felt completely comfortable about my vehicle being parked in this neighbourhood. Cleanliness and comfort were top notch, My only complaint would be the noise. The walls and even windows seemed paper thin and we could always here all the comings and goings of the neighbours. It was quiet at nighttime though.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was perfect for what we were looking for. Good location and the added bonus of some bikes. Bikes could use some maintenance but overall no issues. The place did get quite warm but we weren’t in there much to mind. Communication with the host was quick and much appreciated!

Place was in a great area. Really close to Venice Beach. Place was really clean and homey. It's just a little smaller in reality than on the pictures.

We had a marvelous time walking nearby for drinks and dinners, and to & along Venice Beach. The bungalow fit our needs and we felt at home. Note that the bedroom is underneath the building behind the bungalow, and several times my husband was awakened during the night by overhead sounds (possibly someone working out.) Marnie was easy to work with and our bungalow stay was such fun. 😎

If you want to be in Venice near enuf to beach yet in a neighborhood, you will find this minimalist rental satisfactory. Kitchen and bathroom are updated. Main bedroom is spacious but outside patio not usable without a major clean up. Second queen bed in alcove off small entry room that had dining table and 4 chairs. No doors on either sleeping area. No other furniture. Great to have a nearby carport. Host was very responsive and we enjoyed exploring the neighborhood for great coffee and breads.

Though not uncommon, the pictures make the bungalow appear bigger than it actually is. If more than 2 adults stay here, the futon sleeper will be cramped. The set up will be a bit difficult to comfortably watch tv. Nice location and pretty quiet.

This was a great. Having safe parking for my vehicle, being a few blocks from the beach and bikes available for use made this the perfect get away. We were able to unload the car and have covered parking just around the corner. We took the bikes to the beach, Santa Monica Pier, and Prominade. NOT having to worry about parking makes this an amazing booking. I look forward to doing this again.

Spent 2 nights in this little bungalow in the heart of Venice Beach. Great value due to fantastic location - less than 2 blocks from Abbot Kinney Blvd, 5 min bike ride to beach - you can walk everywhere from here. The bungalow itself is small but comfortable - perfect for 2. It's mostly quiet - but you're in an area with lots of activity so expect some noise at times. The only thing that would make it better would be a bigger outdoor space to hang out in - but you have all of Venice Beach to explore so it's really no big deal. The free use of bikes was amazing!!!
