Overall it was a nice place to lay our heads for the first couple days in new Orleans.

Very happy with our stay here. Close to everything, and you can see the street car from your front porch. Neighborhood felt safe and quiet. The property manager was the fastest replying property manager I have had the pleasure of dealing with, and made check-in/check-out/questions very easy.

The Host was Super responsive!! There are directions all over the house to guide you on how to use things. The rooms are plush and nice, it is like staying at your home in another state. The items in the kitchen came in handy and it was everything you needed for a getaway. The house was clean, plenty of linen, and towels. The best part about it, I was able to wash my clothes before I came home.

My stay here was the most amazing ever! It was so peaceful, so clean, very comfortable. Also, it is very close to everything. I did not get a chance to utilize the street car, but there’s always next time. The beds are soooo comfy, I have not gotten sleep that good in quite a while! And the communication/hospitality exceeded my expectations! Thanks again ❤️❤️

Very easy to get to all points of interest in NOLA. We stayed here for Jazz Fest. Although walkable, we chose to Uber since we had a larger group. Plenty of shops/restaurants nearby.

Myself and 3 other friends came into Austin for a visit. The condo was very clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable. The parking in the garage was very convenient. The only 2 things I didn't like, the elevator was out while we were there so had to use the stairs with luggage, and we had to pay extra to be able to check in early. I think that is crazy if there is no one in the place. But I would stay there again if ever back in Austin. I am a travel agent with WeGo Travel and would book clients in that area. We’ve been to NOLA a lot but have never stayed outside the Quarter and were looking for somewhere quieter this time. Picked this place sort of at random and would definitely stay here again. The neighborhood, like all of New Orleans, is a mix of sketchy and really nice, but we felt totally safe walking around at night. You’re a short walk to a grocery store, a number of great places for dinner or coffee, and a block from the Canal trolley, so it’s easy to get anywhere. The house was clean, had plenty of amenities. Could maybe use a few small cosmetic upgrades, but nothing that affected our stay or would prevent us from returning. Fernando the owner is next door and really friendly, and there are two adorable cats, Emily and Rutherford, who hang out on the porch and always looking for head scratches.

The host was spectacular and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable! Very hospitable! Thank you for a wonderful experience in NOLA; we loved it!

This property is as listed. It was super clean and had lots of little amenities to make it even better. The check in process was a breeze. I highly recommend this stay if you’re in the area!!

We had a great stay even though it was only 2 nights! We had never been in a shotgun house before so it was a little different having to go through each room to get to ours but it was totally fine! We were so close to the street car and it was so easy to get on and off to make it to all the local shopping and restaurants. We also walked to Parkeay Bakery and Diner which was only a few blocks away for some delicious Po’boys and walked to Norma’s Sweets for coffee and pastries. This property was the perfect place for our short stay!

Genesis and Fernando/property owner were very nice and hospitable. I would definitely stay here again.

We visited NO for a quick stay before our cruise. This house is in a quiet neighborhood with a trolley stop across the street. We took the trolley everyday to a new destination… perfect location. The house was just as presented on VRBO. I loved the shotgun aspect of the house. There was plenty of room for our grown kids and us. Not sure I’ll ever be back to NO, but this home is a great alternative for a larger group than a hotel.

The property was not cleaned properly prior to our stay. The floors hadn’t been vacuumed and the toilet was dirty. The bed had a dried booger in it. The property manager Genesis not only didn’t help, but told me that the property was clean and when I sent many photos and videos of the filthy unit, told me that there was nothing in the photos I sent that was dirty. After seeing in other reviews that the owner lived next door, I went over and knocked. Fernando, the owner was very helpful and apologetic. He should fire his management and cleaning company.

First of all the owner lives next door, he’s not only the coolest and kindest, but he was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He even invited us to his great party and festivities. He helped us to enjoy the best Mardi Gras parade one block in front of the front door. It was the Saturday parade. We could see it from our front porch too. The house location was perfect for the French quarter access, maybe 20 blocks. The mid city area, and home, is in a safer place. That is comforting. 2-3 blocks away were very cool bars and restaurants. The home is well stocked for eating and cooking and has all soaps and even a washer and dryer. The beds are nice and bedding was very clean. I was impressed with cleanliness of the home, efficiency of the home, the location, and most of all the Best Host/Owner ever. Thanks a million! We will definitely come back here over and over!

The owner next door was so nice and hospitable. Place was nice and had a great lication. Lots of places that were great within walking distance. Bedrooms are all connected as is normal but you should know before you go. Definitely a great spot and would return.

The seating and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen cupboards were stocked with the essentials and there was plenty of space to bring in the other things we needed. It provided the perfect stay for our trip to Louisiana for medical appointments. The owner and the property manager were both very friendly and easy to do business with. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a great stay! The kitchen is well-stocked and the whole space is comfortable. Being within walking distance of the streetcar, food, and a pub made our stay in New Orleans really easy. The owner lives next door and is remarkably friendly and helpful. We've referred friends to the property and hope to make a return visit ourselves.

Indeed, it is without hesitation that we would rent in the same place. We had the chance to chat with the owner, and he took great care of us. If something was missing from the house, we just had to let it know. Which, in fact, was not really the case. I also liked the location for the proximity to the tram.

Everything was seamless from beginning to end during our stay. Communication with Genesis was quick and thorough and left no questions unanswered. The home was clean and comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for for a short stay. Very convenient location to travel anywhere in the city, and easily walkable to nearby restaurants and other sites in beautiful Bayou St. John area. Would definitely stay again in the fugure!
