Great for walking into town across the Deschutes River bridge. The property was perfect for a family reunion.

House has great floor plan that worked wonderful for our two families. Owners had many items stocked which was very convenient for our week long stay. Cozy warm rustic theme home was exactly what we were seeking for our stay in Bend. All of enjoyed the 5 min walk to downtown for shopping, breweries, restaurants and ice cream! Walks along the river and into the quiet neighborhood were beautiful and serene. Only 25 minutes drive to Sun River resort, where we enjoyed lunch and a spa day, and 25 min to Mt Bachelor. We would definitely stay here again and already have recommended to other friends and family.

Location alone is a reason to stay here. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood just off the river and walking distance to downtown. I would recommend this stay to anyone who wants to do it all in Bend from shopping, eating/drinking to exploring the outdoors.

Wonderful weekend stay. House was beautiful, clean, and well equipped. Easy walk into town. Delightful neighbor with his cat Truman. Loved hanging out on the back patio at night around the gas fire pit. Loves the popcorn maker, and a six pack of beer waiting in the fridge.

The home is lovely and comfortable. We needed more chairs for our elderly group of 7 to sit at dining table. We expected napkins - found one. We would have liked some coffee as well. And a lack of chairs and mirrors in the bedrooms was inconvenient. We brought DVDs to share and found no player in living room. Played games and talked a lot in comfort. Had a great stay overall. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home.

The house is perfect for a large family. We enjoyed this home. We had one issue with the travel crib not available. The property manager was quick to correct and respond to the issue. The home worked out really well for us.

This property was exactly as advertised. Having a location so close to shops, restaurants and breweries but a block off the main road made for a quiet, easy to access location!

The Drake Escape was exactly as described. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. We made brunch for 12 and had everything we needed. A short walk to the park and downtown. Our stay was very comfortable. Our older guests managed the stairs, but others may want to be aware for anyone not able to navigate a full floor of stairs. My comment to all VRBO owners - window coverings are important and should be thick enough to block out light. Guests are on vacation and need sleep.

We stay in 3-4 vacation rental homes a year around the Pacific Northwest and this was by far the best one that we have ever stayed in from every standpoint. We could have left our cars in the driveway for the entire weekend with how close it is to downtown, every room had access to a bathroom. Plenty of room for family time in the living room and the neighborhood as a whole is beautiful and fun to walk through every morning! Our weekend could not have been better!

Absolutely loved our stay in Bend! This house has a beautiful, cabin feel and was very spacious for our group of friends. There were 3 couples, each with our own room and bathroom & then we also had our 2 year old with us as well. The house was clean with any amenity you could think of especially in the kitchen; pizza cutters, baking sheets, mixing bowls, cutting boards, olive oil, salt/pepper, wine glasses, martini glasses, literally everything! The location was also amazing, about a 7 min walk to Bend Brewing Co which is right in the downtown area & close to all the shops & restaurants. The property managers were very responsive with any questions we had & they were a pleasure to communicate with. Would absolutely stay here again next time we are in Bend!

This is a beautiful, functional house in a terrific neighborhood. The location is perfect for a walking vacation as it’s adjacent to downtown. It was quieter than I expected and I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to spend some time close to the action in Bend.

Four of us came into Bend for a guys golf weekend. Perfect set up as everyone got their own room. House location is killer because you are a five minute walk to downtown Bend, bars, restaurants etc. The property was well equipped if you want to cook and do that whole thing…we opted to eat out. The house itself is super clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet, and while it was a guys trip we made sure to keep it quiet for the neighbors. Not a good place if you are with a loud group or looking to party…and the property management makes that pretty clear. Would definitely stay here again.
