The house was in the perfect location for us to drive around to see family. Also walk to the hill neighborhood to get a pastry and a coffee. We went to Gioia’s deli and had the best sandwiches. We even left the city and drove out to Elephant Rock state park. The neighborhood was quiet at night for a good night sleep in comfortable beds.

Perfect location to stay in St Louis to access downtown and visit both Washington University and SLU. The neighborhood is safe and quiet and there are many wonderful restaurants right across the highway, with a cute pedestrian bridge to get right across! Would definitely stay again when next I visit.

Propoerty was clean and updated. Host was responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would consider this property again in the future. Only surprise was the surrounding area - house is set on the edge of lovely, little italy, but this house being on the outskirts it is next to industry. Neighbors we met seemed kind.

The house was perfect for our weekend away celebrating our friend. We loved the open concept and the kitchen was great for making a big brunch. The beds, linens, and pillows were all comfortable. The location was very convenient to great restaurants, parks and other attractions. We definitely will recommend the house to others.

We were traveling as 2 couples and had to adjust our original plans. We were SO fortunate to find this cute little renovated shot gun house in The Hill area just days ahead of our planned trip. As good as this one was, we couldn’t believe it wasn’t already rented. It was clean, it was cute, and the set up was perfect for 2 couples. It was SUPER convenient for visiting The Arch, Anheiser Bush, The Zoo, and even Meramec Caverns. Close to FANTASTIC restaurants as well. The home was well equipped and SO appreciated that there was plenty of TP, paper towels, and shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion, and paper towels for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and never had a problem finding parking right out front as others have stated in the reviews. It would be my top choice to stay for a return trip to St Louis.

This was a great property and was perfect for a long weekend. Right by the Hill and east access to I 44 & I 64. Owners were super responsive to a few questions we had. Clean, nicely set up. Plenty of room for the 5 in our group. Highly recommend. I would stay there again

You cannot beat this location it is perfect for all most anything St Louis related. You are located in the hill district and close to the grove. Forest park and the university of St Louis are your neighbors so once again location is amazing. Tons of walkable places to visit and enjoy. The house is great with plenty of space for a family of 4 or even 5 with space on the sofa for an extra person. The kitchen is stocked well for any occasion also they supplied plenty of coffee and condiments for your coffee. They also provided plenty of cleaning supplies and other household items. Loved this rental and would definitely book again. Also the hosts were easy to work with and answered any questions I had.

Right across the street from the walking bridge that drops you right in the heart of the hill. Walking distance to so much! Really great communication, and very nice not to have a whole bunch of “checkout chores” that some rentals ask you to do. Here it’s just “put everything back where you found it, and let us know if anything was damaged.” We had a really refreshing, wonderful time!

Cute, clean little house in a great location for sightseeing or visiting friends and family. A much better option to any nearby hotels!

Property was perfect for our group. Loved the convenience of the walking overpass to the other side of the interstate, making a nice walk for coffee, bakery, and restaurants easy. The location was a short drive from several places we were headed - never more than 20 minutes. And parking was available right in front of the property every time. The kitchen could stand to have a few more serving type dishes, though there are plenty of place settings, utensils and glassware. The hosts were responsive to any questions and easy to work with.

The Marconi on The Hill was a fabulous place to stay! The owner’s description is spot-on but the reality is even better. As four older women, we enjoyed all of the beautiful house renovations along with the abundant charm of the entire neighborhood. We all readily agreed we always felt safe on our outdoor exploration of the community and its incredible charm. All of the businesses and people we encountered were so very welcoming and grateful for our visits. We’re going to present this area to our entire ladies group as a top choice to visit next year! We enjoyed our stay at the "Marconi cottage". The house was clean with a fully stocked kitchen (utensils and cooking implements). Check in was simple and our host was quick to communicate with us. She allowed us an early check in which was VERY MUCH appreciated as 2 in our party had an earlier flight. Would have liked a door on the 2nd bedroom but the BR is far enough in the back of the house that it was not a deal. House is great for families.

Great spot, easy access to the Hill, Botanical Garden and the stadium! Lots of nice extras in the house, and great hosts!

It was close to a lot of our venues. Steep steps to get in the house but everything else was nice.

We have never visited this part of St Louis. The house is in quaint quiet neighborhood. We felt safe! A short walk across the highway on a footbridge took us to a great area for food. We will definitely look for this house again if we come back to St Louis.

This was just the right size for 6 of us; comfy air mattress was provided for an extra bed. Very clean. Host answered very quickly for questions! Perfect location as we did things in Dogtown neighborhood and downtown. Uber rides were not that far! Love The Hill area for Italian Food! Ate at Zia’s for a dinner and Chris’s Pancake House for breakfast! Walked to Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Factory. Would recommend all!
