Overall the apartment was nice. However there were some issues that made our stay frustrating. When we arrived to checkin the unit was not clean. We walked in to find the beds slept in, dirty towels, and trash on the counters. The management company then found us another unit. The new unit had a broken towel rack and apparently maintenance had planned on repairing it and since the management company didn’t inform maintenance on Friday the maintenance man opened the door and just walked in to the apartment. After he opened the door he yelled maintenance but before we could go talk to him he left. He came back later that same day and knocked and then just opened the door. There was no way to lock the front door from the inside to avoid someone simply walking into the apartment which is not ok. The stove also did not work. Also the checkin process was a bit much. The management company requires a photo of your drivers license along with several facial photos. I was not comfortable with their request but at that point I could not cancel. Also I had to acknowledge that I was aware that there was no parking which concerned me since we had 2 vehicles. This seems to have just been wrong information as there was parking but caused concern during the checkin process just a few days before our stay.
