The location & grounds of the studio unit was great. We loved the screened in porch area for reading. The hostess replied to any concerns very quickly, both before & during our stay.

Great little cottage perfect for 1-2 people, close to town and easy to navigate. Especially loved sitting in the screened-in porch every morning and evening.

Super nice, super clean, great location to downtown Waynesville. So much nicer than a Hotel or Motel. Would stay again if ever in that area.

1st, let me just say, that I'm a professional cleaner, so I'm pickier than most. My 1st impression was good. Before I use I will always clean light switches, knobs, tv remote, & countertops. I chose this property because of the cost. When you vacation you don't want to spend an arm & a leg for a place to sleep. We spend all the time we can on outdoor activities. I knew that place was small but I was willing to sacrifice space. The only unnerving thing was the refrigerator. I cook a lot. I could not put the things I needed for cooking in the fridge. We had to go to the store every day. The temperature in the fridge was out of wack. It would freeze things that weren't even in the freezer section. I noticed that I was getting nasal congestion so I checked the air conditioner filter & it was covered in dirt/dust, so I cleaned it. Next, I checked the shower & the shower door tracks were covered in mold. The corners of the shower had hunks of black slime. The shower head, where the water comes out was covered in black mold. The exhaust fan was covered in dirt. So I cleaned all those, too.

The studio included all the comforts of home for short stay. The place is sunny, airy and clean. It is so close to downtown Waynesville that offered endless of shops for a little town.
I recommend a nearby mountain top experience of sunset - Waterrock Knob, Maggie Valley.

The Marshal Studio is an excellent, clean place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed being there. The screened in porch was a highlight for us. We look forward to going there in the future.

Thge cottage is ideally located to Lake Junaluska for conferences. We found it to be spotless and the screened porch perfect for sitting bug free in the early morning and in the evenings. The kitchen although small is well equipped. We would definately recommend and will stay there again. The host is very responsive and went well beyond expectations for our stay there. This is the perfect getaway for two adults. My in-laws stayed here while my family stayed next door in the Marshal House. Both places are clean, up to date, and well supplied. We stay here every year we can get it. Beautiful flowers and a quiet neighborhood that I could walk in for exercise.

Our stay was quiet and peaceful. Perfect for the two of us. The property was well kept. All needs were supplied. We had packed food to prepare meals and had everything provided at the location to make cooking and dining there possible. We highly recommend this rental!

As a solo traveler, I found this studio to be ideal. The unit was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The covered patio provided a nice place to sit and read and enjoy the outside. It was in a quiet neighborhood about a 15 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of lovely Waynesville. It is a great location to use as a base for exploring the beautiful mountains.

Had an amazing experience in the Asheville-Smoky Mountains area. Our accommodations were great from location to basic amenities. Waynesville is a nice small town with everything we needed after several days of hiking. 5 stars all the way around!

The studio on Marshall was clean, quiet and cozy. Perfect for spending a few nights while exploring the area. Waynesville is lovely and this studio was in an ideal location for both driving and walking to restaurants, shops and the Parkway.

We've stayed here several times over the years. It is our "go to" place to stay in the Waynesville area. Close to Main St where many of the restaurants and shops are. Only about 1/2 Hour to Asheville. Comfortable for our short stays and for two people.

We stayed 2 nights. Close to everything. We enjoyed our stay. Neighborhood is quiet. We do recommend it and will stay again in the future.

It was smaller than it looked but it was fine for what we needed it for. It was clean and in a good location for walking to town. There was a microwave and a little oven and fridge that were handy. Only downside for us was it was really cold and we couldn’t seem to get the heat up. Coffee for the Keurig would be another suggestion. Overall, a fine experience.

This was a decent apartment/guest house. It was clean, particularly the bathroom. I must say, however, that it was quite small. There was only one place to sit indoors on the cold day that we came. There was a screened area outside but it needed a little attention. Overall, the purpose for my visit was met and I had a clean space to rest.

My time spent at the studio was perfect for my short business trip to Waynesville. The location was perfect, nestled in a nice, quiet neighborhood close to downtown attractions. The place was clean and provided all of the accommodations necessary to make for a comfortable stay. The property was well kept and the communication provided regarding check-in/check-out as well as other necessities of the stay were superb. I have added this to the list of places to stay when I or my team members visit the area. Thanks!

This property is very convenient to downtown. It is exactly as described on the site. It is a small space, but it works perfectly for a couple who keeps busy and doesn't need to hang out in the place much. Very clean and well appointed.

Communication with host was very good. Host responded really quick to multiple messages. My wife feels like she needs to clean before we step into any rental, but when we arrived she was really surprised how clean it was. We will use this place again.

Stayed in the Marshall cottage while we were up to see the Fall leaves. Great space for 2, on the tinier side but we didn’t need a big place since we were out and about most of the time. Had everything we needed.

What I wonderful place to sleep. Just what we needed. Safe and quiet neighborhood, easy access and oh so super clean! I never go without slippers away from home… here I felt I could. This cottage will be our first pick every time we visit NC. Close to all the activities and our family.

Cute little guest house that was perfect for me as a solo traveler. Would also be ok for a couple. The kitchen had a K cup coffee maker, microwave and stovetop. There was a shared courtyard between the guest house and main house. The screened porch was perfect for morning coffee. There is also a fire pit in the backyard. Ample parking and close to downtown.
