Beautiful location, short walk to the beach and Boardwalk. There is a little grocery store nearby which is ok in a pinch, but it’s expensive and not super well stocked. Best to pick up your groceries in the shopping district (which is about an hour walk along the boardwalk or an 8 mins Uber ride). I loved Mission Beach and this little apartment was very reasonably priced, excellent location and well stocked.

Stayed for 4 nights. Space was clean and spacious. While we didn't cook the kitchen was stocked with all essentials. Close to all things that we wanted to do. There weren't many restaurant options on the main strip near the apartment. You can walk for sure but know it will be a mile or more. Otherwise a block from the beach and the bay right behind. Nice and quiet. The property manager was amazing with communication when needed and had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was also incredibly friendly. This was a great stay for us.

When I started my search on VRBO and came upon this property I said to myself, this is perfect! Not to mention the property included a garage (huge plus) it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Diana provided us with all the necessary access information (garage code & entry into the apartment). The kitchen is fully stocked with everything one needs to prepare a delicious meal. The large assortment of spices! It felt like I had entered my home pantry. The bed is extremely comfortable not to mention "loved the linens"! The overall size of the space is absolutely perfect. The location couldn't be better, so close to the airport and many attractions that San Diego has to offer. Your space in everything and more! We will definitely be back. Kind regards, Jo-Ann & David

This home is set up very comfortably with space to have privacy from each other. Lots of storage. Kitchen is well stocked with full-size appliances. Keurig coffee maker. Toyota Corolla fits in the private garage. Peninsula and the ocean are just steps away. Quiet neighborhood. Great food within walking distance.

The stay was amazing to be on beach. The unit was cozy and had all essentials. It truly felt like a home away from home. As stated by others the garage is tight so book a smaller vehicle. The place is a short walk to the boardwalk for food and entertainment. The owners were very responsive when we had questions or issues and resolved right away.

This was a great little condo. Very comfy, well located with all the amenities you need. We cooked while we were there and nothing was missing. Both the bay and ocean waterfronts are at 2 mins walk.

Bayside Affordable Find is in a perfect location on the Mission Bay side of Mission Beach. You are one house length away from the sand of Mission Bay and a very short walk to the beach. The upstairs apartment is bright, comfortable, quiet, and just about everything is new and fresh. Parking is at a premium at Mission Beach and a bonus feature is that it has a garage. Diana of The Beach Renter delivers a high level of guest service.

comfortable and clean place. nice interior design makes the stay that much more pleasant. 10-15 minute drive from everywhere point of interest. less foggy than other beaches. all in all, we'd come back

The property was spotless and as listed. Mission Bay location was amazing for daily beach walks. Access to all San Diego has to offer less than a 20 minute drive. Owner helped us out with info when our rental car was a bit too big for garage area. Great place!

The condo was great. Location on the bay was fantastic. Parking is really tight! Garage is very narrow. Unload your stuff, (and your kids), and then back in! Very clean place. Having A/C is a big plus after a hot day walking around attractions. No view- so if you’re looking for one, don’t book here. We didn’t mind- we were gone all day everyday anyway. Owner lives downstairs. She and her husband were very nice, but not imposing at all. Patio out front on the bay is the perfect place to watch fireworks from Seaworld. Nice parks close by. Mission beach is a one minute walk. Excellent location. I would book here again. Much quieter and more relaxed than the ocean side of Mission Blvd. Perfect for families.

This is a great little vacation place with helpful owners who make your stay very comfortable. This is very clean place with a nice garage, extra beach equipment, and a very nice Bayside patio.

Had a great comfortable stay right on the bay and walkable to most things. My 4 year old loved the beach toys and handy to pull her and all the stuff in the wagon so she could jump in the 'big waves'. Would look at the place next door with the view next time, only thing missing!

Beautiful location, clean and perfect for our anniversary! Had everything we needed and host Patti was great and easy to reach when we had questions. Perfect location and many options within a half a mile radius. Would definitely stay again!

We have had the worst luck with gross nasty. Disgusting air B&Bs in this area that past few summers. We were a little nervous but the owner was out front and greeted us the moment we pulled in, and all the nervousness faded away! She was absolutely delightful open the door for us and helps my husband with the parking into the garage. This place is super cute and super clean!!!!!!!! It’s also extremely spacious and right off the bay, which was absolutely perfect for my three and four year old. We had the best time here, and I would highly highly recommend this spot!!! Don’t worry about packing your wagon or beach chairs or beach toys because the garage is loaded with everything. You will need so save space in the car for other items.😃 I can’t recommend this place enough!!! We will be booking again!!!! Thank you so much for a relaxing vacation. From AZ🌵

Love love loved everything about this spot! Perfect location. Super clean. Wish I would have realized how much beach stuff they have to use, could have saved some room in the trunk. They have lots of chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, a wagon, beach toys and more. I think they thought of just about everything for you to have to make your stay comfortable and fun. Would stay here again!

Everything was very clean, property manager was very nice and responded quickly to questions. There were so many little details they thought of that made us feel like they truly care about our experience. We are very grateful we found this place and for a decent price!

Comfortable property. Garage is tight better have a small vehicle, but at least there is parking. If you are a late / light sleeper or not a fan of barking dog/s from nearby unit you may want to avoid.

Definitely a great place to stay when visiting San Diego!! So close to EVERYTHING! The beach and the bay were both in close proximity to the condo, just steps away. The owner has beach chairs and equipment in the garage for your use. When we arrived we were very nervous about the parking...it is tight, but it is that way with every condo in the area. Thankfully the owner Patti, was outside and coached us through it! Once we had gotten the car in the garage once, we were fine!! The condo was cute and had everything we needed. Very clean and the bed was comfortable! I LOVED the comforter...so soft! Plus this VRBO had the plushest towels of any place I have stayed. :) They also have separate beach towels for use at the beach. There was a ceiling fan in the living room/dining room, as well as in the bedroom. The condo also have air conditioning. We dined out a majority of the time, but there is a grill there for your use. Mission Market, a small grocery store, was about two blocks away and handy for our grocery needs. Overall, we loved this property. It had everything we needed and very comfortable. We enjoyed staying at the property. The location was great - lots of things were very walkable or easy for ride share to access us, if not. Close to the airport too. Property was really clean (and I'm pretty picky about this!). While we didn't use the kitchen, it was very well stocked for cooking a meal at home. Literally right around the corner from the bay and a short walk across the street to access the beach for some waves. Thanks for helping us have a great trip to SD! The only piece of advice I'd echo that I took from other reviewers - rent a small car to be able to fit into the garage. We did - and it was perfect.

We had an amazing time. The daybed, when converted to a bed, was perfect for my 7-year-old. It's a very quiet nieghborhood and the garage is a plus, but it was tight. The rental we had was a Nissan Sentra and it was a little snug, but worked. The only thing I would suggest is that the clarification of the common patio space. The picture shows a table and we went to go have lunch at the table, but it turns out it was the owner's personal space. The instruction says a white gate and blue umbrella and there are two white gates and two blue umbrellas. One is the owner's space and the other is the common area. The owner was nice and understood it was a common mistake, but it sounded like it happens a lot. So, I would suggest either painting the owner's gate a different color or putting a sign to avoid future confusion. And there is no table in the common area to sit dow and eat lunch. There is a patio set with a small fire pit.

Very clean and well kept. Close to both beaches, market, food and Belmont park. Unit had beach chairs and umbrella. Kitchen was super stocked with everything we needed, all kinds of cookware, utensils, spices, soaps, and paper goods. Bathroom was a tad small, but lots of storage behind the mirror. Overall a great stay.

My husband and I stayed her with out two year old and it was perfect. I love to cook and the kitchen was by far the best vrbo kitchen I have been able to work with. Perfect amount of space for us and loved we could easily venture to the bay or the beach depending on our mood and tiredness of our 2 year old. Can't wait to stay here again.
