We loved this property in Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee! It was just perfect for our family over Thanksgiving. The house was super clean, spacious, well-appointed and outfitted with everything we might have needed. It's obvious that the owners know what it means/takes to be a gracious host and homeowner. Believe me when I say the photos in the listing (while lovely) do not do the property justice! The beds were comfortable, the living areas were lovely and had ample space for the 7 of us to spread out and do our own thing, when we needed. Don't pass on this listing if you're looking to stay in this community - we have relatives who live there and it was so easy to visit with one another. We would DEFINITELY reserve another stay when it's time to visit Georgia again. We loved our stay!

Five of us spent a few days at the house for a girls trip and the place was perfect! We enjoyed several of the spaces and loved the pool. All the furnishings were so nice, clean, and comfortable. The house had everything we needed, no complaints at all! The host was very responsive and accommodating and allowed us to set up a canopy for more shade near the pool which we really appreciated.

I can’t say enough good things about this home! It is probably one of the best decorated and stocked vacation rentals we have stayed in. The neighborhood is beautiful as well and the hosts are very responsive. The pool was a hit with our 2 year old! Highly recommend!

This place is just what our family needed for a quick weekend getaway. There were eight of us and there was plenty of room to spare. The kids loved playing in the gameroom. We got up every morning and got in the hot tub the transitioned to the pool in the late mornings. The host was great answering any questions we had. Would love to visit again!!!! It was a wonderful trip!

Our family had a fantastic time at this rental home! It was clean, comfortable and very well decorated. The outdoor patio with couches, pool chairs and the high top table were perfect for our days and nights by the pool. Every bedroom had its own bathroom which made it easy to give everyone privacy. Sue had good recommendations for dining, jet skis and boat rentals- we really enjoyed getting out on the lake.
Their house is in a perfect location to get around as well. I wish I could pick up the house and bring it home to live in it. It's decorated beautifully and it was such a perfect layout for the entire family.

This is the best rental we have ever stayed in. The home is beautifully decorated, incredibly clean and had everything we could need during our stay. Our kids already want to plan another trip back.^^ Sue and Jason are super responsive and were easy to get in touch with. The neighborhood was quiet...a nice change from the crowded beaches we normally go to, and we got to see fireworks over the lake which was a nice surprise!

What a great weekend. From the minute we walked in, we were amazed with the home. It was the perfect getaway from work and stress. Sue was a true pleasure to work with and made sure everything was just right. She made some great referrals for on what to do and places to eat. Everything was spot on. Really enjoyed our time at the home and will be back soon. It will not disappoint.

We really enjoyed staying at this house, it’s beautifully decorated and had all the dishes and utensils we needed. The highlight of our stay was the pool and hot tub which we really enjoyed! Being surrounded by trees was so peaceful. My only suggestion would be to turn the daybeds in one of the downstairs rooms and the loft into regular beds and add some furniture to loft space to make it more like a bedroom while keeping the ping pong there. We highly recommend the house!

This place is immaculate and was perfect for our extended family's Thanksgiving celebration. The host had even put out seasonal Thanksgiving decorations. I don't think I've ever been in a cleaner rental home (or ANY home, for that matter). It was spotless! And very well appointed for a large holiday dinner.

The house was impeccable and had all the amenities one would need for a week away. Communication with the owner was amazing. The location of the house is very close to the dock and can easily be shared. Looking forward to coming back next year.

From the minute we walked in the door we felt like we were at home.
The house was very clean, kitchen full of all of the needed supplies and the owner was great to work with.
Our group included 4 adults and 4 kids and everyone had a blast.
We had a great time enjoying the lake views and swimming all weekend long - we cant wait to visit again.

I only wish we had had more time to enjoy the property but we have family with a home at Lake Oconee and we spent so much time there that we didn’t get to enjoy the pool as much as we would have liked. Guess that means we’ll have to come again!

We fell in love with this beautiful house the moment we stepped in. A modern and clean home with a great private pool & hot tub. Communication with owners was so easy. They responded to our questions right away and made our stay perfect. I highly recommend it anyone who is looking for a peaceful vacation at Lake Oconee.
