My stay was easy & comfortable! Robin was helpful at check-in & available if needed through the stay. Gerrie’s Place 2 was a nice weekend getaway & the benefit of the animal visits was nice too, each morning. All comforts were thought of for my stay! Couldn’t have asked for more!

Wonderful stay!! Spotlessly clean. Pets welcome. Beautiful accommodations. Can’t speak highly enough of the warm welcome received from the owner. So much fun to be greeted each morning by a llama, goat, pig and emu waiting for morning treats!

Robin, Ruby and Sean all are so kind and more than happy to do anything for their guests. The rescue animals are such characters and we're already missing Tater and Moody! We plan to come back for sure! Thank y'all for your wonderful Texas hospitality!

This beautiful little cabin is a true gem in the countryside of Northwest Houston. Robin is a thoughtful host, leaving fresh-laid eggs in the full-sized fridge, meeting me at check-in so I could find the right gate, and making sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable while staying here for work. Probably the best part of this cabin is waking up to sheep, llamas, pigs, goats, and emus wandering the yard (and maybe looking for host-supplied treats). The morning I stayed there, it was chilly, and the emu and goat were doing zoomies throughout the yard! It was such a fun way to wake up. The cabin also has a metal roof, and I got to experience a rainy winter night that was so incredibly cozy. The electric fireplace kept me warm and the full kitchen and full bath made me feel like I was at home. I wished I could have stayed longer, and spent some time on the porch, watching the rescue animals graze. This really is such a gem of a place. I can't recommend it enough!

We had a wonderful stay at Gerrie's Place 2. The pictures really don't do the place justice - it is very thoughtfully appointed, modern, super clean and not the least bit 'funky'. Fully stocked kitchen, great heat (and probably AC - tho we didn't need that) and the bed, towels, really everything was very nice. So fun to visit with the animals and Host Robin is one of the most friendly, helpful and genuinely nice people you'll ever meet. We loved our stay, and would absolutely stay here again if we're back anywhere near this area. Book it - you'll be glad you did! And ask to visit the gift shop - beautiful rugs, scarves, and much more.

We loved everything about this location; the host was exceedingly kind and attentive, the cottage was perfectly appointed and host added so many helpful and thoughtful touches, the property is absolutely gorgeous and we loved having the animals around. We are so thankful for everything and cannot wait to return.

It was so relaxing and peaceful. The animals were very friendly yet non intrusive. I love that we could bring our dogs. They are big, loud, and intimidating but the property owner understood and did not mind at all. It was a wonderful place for our relaxing getaway honeymoon. The fact that it is a non-profit that spends all the proceeds on the animals and their care is just incredible. We will be back for sure!

This property was amazing. They literally thought of everything! It was so homey, welcoming, and warm. I especially loved feeding the animals in the moring on the porch and eating the fresh eggs for breakfast. Robin and staff were outstanding! They communicated on every aspect, they were all so friendly. It felt like visiting family. This is the best stay anywhere, I have ever had. I'll never forget it. GO! Stay longer than a day so you can take it all in. Tell Robin we say hi and thank you!

We arrived after dark. Robin communicated with us and gave us all the details we needed to get to our location easily. It was so very nice inside. I was afraid it might have been hot inside but it was perfect. She has thought of everything! If you love animals like I do, you will enjoy staying here she has so many rescue animals. They can come right up to the porch and be fed. The llamas are so cute! The accommodations were just right for the two of us. Very comfortable! We would definitely stay here again
