This home was super close to Steamboat resort. Large enough for 2-3 families. We had a great stay.

Very basic accommodations for such a large home. Vacasa soaps and toiletries were awful. Even the hand soap was useless. So trivial yet so disappointing. Beds were disappointing as well and couch cushions slid apart like crazy. Shared hot tub was gross. My kids loved it regardless and jumped in the pool daily. The convenience of location and door to door shuttle was probably the best part of this stay.

Location was great. Ammenities were great. Had a wonderful stay.

Very nice home layout but needs some updating - especially at this price point. On demand shuttle service to/from town was awesome. Really no need for a car. The property manager, vacassa, was awful - examples… 1- Landing in front of the entry door was covered in ice several inches thick - they never did anything. Next door neighbors had none. 2- 5 wine glasses for 4+ br place, limited place settings - vacassa stated they are only required to have setting for 4 !!! Really? In a 4 bedroom home?. 3 - dishwasher not secured - every time you opened the door it would lean forward and the trays would come sliding out. We were there 3 weeks they did nothing. 4 - called to replace light bulbs on the 12’ living room ceiling - never done. 5- place needed a deep cleaning There were more examples but you get the picture. Will not be renting from ANY vacassa managed places anytime soon

The house itself was beautiful and is on a street where there's traffic. Needs many upgrades. Doesn't have a patio set to sit on outside of course even if it did you would view the street and many beautiful trees. I was definitely not what I had paid for.

DIRTY, STINKY CARPETS Sadly, the carpets were dirty, stained, not vacuumed and they smelled. When we walked into the door, the odor was so strong, we thought it was a smoking unit. HAIR AND BROWN DEBRIS IN JACUZZI There was hair in the tub prior to me using it so I washed it myself with what I had - hot water and dish soap. When I turned on the jacuzzi, the jets shot a disturbing amount of brown debris into the water. This is 100% avoidable if you clean the jets and totally disgusting if you’re sitting in a bathtub. POOL AND HOT TUB Closed 30-45 minutes early. GARAGE It was nice to have a garage. SLIPPERY UNCOMFORTABLE COUCH The couch is one of those leather or pleather couches where the seat cushions slowly slide out while you’re sitting on them. LACK OF COMFORTERS The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable but the bedding should be more substantial on all of the beds. It’s winter in the mountains. There should be thick, warm comforters on all of the beds. OLD APPLIANCES Appliances need to be updated. STAFF WAS UNRESPONSIVE There were only 3 of us. At the time we were booking a rental, Vacasa had several smaller properties (Lodge C, Lodge B, Lodge F etc) listed as available through Booking and Priceline. We booked LODGE C and received a letter from Vacasa saying the rental we had booked was not available. They offered to put us up in a condo 3x bigger and that cost almost 2X as much plus a minuscule discount. The rental looked decent in the photographs and we had no other options at that point, we had been traveling all day with a child and it was late so we took it. I reached out to Vacasa and received no response. Vacasa should have offered us the same rate esp. considering the state of the unit which was unclean and stinky. Later that night and every night after that, I noticed that they still had their smaller more moderately priced units listed as available when they were not actually available. I am concerned that this might be a way to lure people in to rent the larger, more expensive units and I’m not sure that’s legal. What I do know is it’s a terrible way to start a vacation. It is unfortunate that Steve or Vacasa did not respond to our concerns. At the very least, they could have told us where the vacuum and cleaning supplies were and offered real compensation to remedy this situation. As someone who has managed family vacation rentals for almost 20 years, this whole lodging experience was terrible and it didn’t need to be, at all. Additionally, I am writing to the BBB and FTC because I’m not certain that they weren’t leaving those unavailable rentals up to lure people w/false advertising.

Terrific layout to give people both space to come together and not feel crowded

Beautiful condo. Spacious for large groups. Check in and out very easy and property managers were quick to respond to the minor issues we had.
