The accommodations were beautiful, it was a bit more rustic than expected. Communication about access to the driveway & parking with trailers and motorcycles was spot on. Limited to no cell phone coverage while at the propery which was outlined in the description.

Came down with five men for a bachelor trip. The Cherokee casino was only 15 mins away. Bryson city was only 15 mins away. Driveway can be a bit challenging first time in. Recommend to pull up past driveway and back in. It’s a sharp left turn into driveway. This was the best, most well thought out, rental I’ve ever had. The Walks really made this place with comfort in mind. Everything is labeled to help out. Nothing worse than figuring out which switches go to lights. Had everything you needed, literally, even had a lil supply of essentials that you may have forgotten, toothbrushes, women pads, q-tips, etc. I was thoroughly impressed with the detail. I visit the mountains about once a year and the beach once a year and by far this was the best rental I’ve had. Nothing was purchased besides food and beer for the house. The outdoor amenities were a great touch. Grilled on the cowboy grill each night. Can’t speak highly enough of this place. The only thing I noticed was the hot tub could probably use a lil cleaning. Noticed a lotta particles/ debris stirred up once the jets came on. But this was still a great lil hot tub to soak in for a bit.

The treehouse lodge is the perfect location for anyone looking to spend time in Cherokee and Bryson city. It is just minutes from both. The kids loved the game room, cornhole,hot tub and smores by the fire!

Have you ever looked at a vacation rental and wondered to yourself, “this place looks good in pictures, but I am worried that when we get there, we will discover that it was a trick, it’s going to be a huge disappointment, and vacation will be ruined?” Regarding this rental, let me assure that nagging voice in the back of your mind: this place IS FANTASTIC, and your family is sure to thoroughly enjoy the stay! The owners have done a lovely job of updating the property so that it feels welcoming and relaxing. I think the most important thing for me to note is that it feels CLEAN. Underneath beds, dressers, couches, inside kitchen and bathroom cabinets – all of it is free of dust and debris. It is, top to bottom, spotless. Even the outdoor surfaces and furniture on the wrap around porch, the tables and chairs around the fire pit, all of it was clean! A++ cleaning service! The same is true of the linens and bedding. Nothing was stained, dirty, torn, or worn out. This property is well cared for! The property owner/manager is VERY communicative! We needed to reach out over a few trivial matters, and we received a very prompt, supportive, service-oriented response. We have two children, ages 11 and 13, who thoroughly enjoyed all of the fun extras you see listed and pictured for the property. This is just what our family needed – to unplug, slow down, relax, rest, and restore. It was awesome. Trust the reviews, trust the photos, and book your vacation!

We wanted to explore the Mountains with easy access to Gatlinburg but far enough out we wouldn't go to Gatlinburg every day. The house was great with all the activities provided. Wonderful outdoor areas for rainy days also!

We loved the treehouse cabin! There were so many things to do at the cabin and it was very relaxing. The house was very clean and well organized, making our stay that much better. Beautiful location, quiet, and peaceful. Definitely a great place for kids. We will absolutely be looking to stay here in the future.

We look forward to coming to the treehouse Lodge every year, it’s becoming a family tradition. We love to get out of Florida and get a little bit of a different climate change, along with the scenery. The treehouse Lodge is the best stay ever! It is always clean, towels are already on the bed for us, and everything is just easy to find. It’s like staying in your own home, but better! We love going to the casino at night and then coming back home to light a fire and jump in the hot tub. Thank you for another amazing stay!

Cute little house, would definitely stay here again!

The house was a little more rustic than we had anticipated. Meaning, a lot of raw wood beams, which may be difficult to keep clean of dust and spider webs. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook for the week. The floor heaters did a good job of keeping things warm as long as they were turned on; we were nervous about leaving them on while we were out. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us to be together or have our own separate time. The host was attentive and responded quickly when there was an issue. We appreciate the Treehouse Lodge for what it was.

Excellent property and very enjoyable. Close and convenient to town. Very clean and spacious. Only thing is the driveway is a little tricky with a large Ford truck. All and all excellent place to stay.

The Walks Treehiuse lodge was perfect for our Polar Express weekend in Bryson City. The home was beautifully decorated for Christmas and was such a nice touch during this time of year, made us feel right at home. A slight hiccup with the heat upon arrival, but once worked out we had such a lovely time. We were so impressed with the home, every little space was used perfectly and we had more than enough room for my family of three, plus my in-laws, and our two big dogs. The owners are suuuuper accommodating and respond to everything suuuuper quick. If we come back to do another Polar Express wknd well for sure stay again. Thank you so much!! Merry Christmas!

The Treehouse was the perfect place for our family! It seems as if the host thought of everything they could to possibly make our stay comfortable and convenient. We were a group of 6 Mother(74), my husband & I(53), daughter(24), son-in-law(30), and grandson(4). From the beautiful porch views my Mother and I enjoyed every morning from the swing while sipping our coffee all the way to the many indoor and outdoor activities and accommodations they had to entertain a 4 year old. The Treehouse had it all! We spent many nights sipping hot cocoa by the cozy fireplace inside while watching movies. They have a huge selection of dvds for children and adults. After grilling out on the wonderful cowboy grill we would roast marshmallows and make s’mores. There were plenty of things outside to entertain us as well. Corn hole, large yard connect 4 game, pool table etc. They are many swings and hammocks to relax and stargaze in as well. After we put the 4 year old and 74 year old to bed the rest of us spent relaxing evenings in the hot tub and competition matches on the video games we all loved growing up. I’m telling you there was so much to do right there at the Treehouse. The main purpose of our trip was the Polar Express for my grandson, which I highly recommend. I can honestly say that the treehouse was exactly as advertised and the pictures are accurate and up to date! The host was easy to contact and our stay was wonderful! We will definitely be coming back!

While most of the renovations are nice and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas, the house felt very dirty and it is such an odd layout. Spider webs and dust everywhere. Small rooms and bathrooms. We didn’t use the basement bedroom because we have young children but we tried to use the shower down there. When we turned it on, we realized we could only get piping hot water (too hot to use and the cold knob was broken) and the shower door was off the track so we had to go back upstairs. So, we ended up using the shower right off of the living room that offers no privacy. We had a hard time keeping the house warm with separate heaters in each room and just felt on top of each other the whole time due to the layout of the house and small rooms. I’m not sure we would book here again, at least not for six people. I’d save your money on this one.

Everything about the property was first class.

My friends and I rented this cabin for a week long vacation. Communications with the owners were good and the cabin was easy to get to. We loved the cabin and regretted that we were not able to spend as much time there as we would have liked because of our activities we did during our stay. Would rent again if I'm ever back in that area.

Treehouse is located only 10 minutes from Deep Creek and hiking, fishing and being outside. We fished the creek and caught a few nice rainbows! The house was well stocked, comfy and we felt at home. We enjoyed cooking on the fire pit and the hot tub. Lots to do on the one rainy day. Thank you for hosting us!

Myself and 5 friends booked this property to get together now that we all live in different states. We definitely enjoyed and took advantage of all there was to do at the house. Very convenient location as well to town. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time in Bryson. The treetop lodge was a great place to stay after a long day of hiking/walking/or train riding. For us flatlanders, navigating backing into the steep drive with a rented SUV was a little tricky but we had it down pat by the second day. All in all a great place wirh responsive owners. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is awesome! It’s secluded but still close enough to everything! It also has extras in the kitchen like spices, butter, and trash bags. We loved that it was fully stocked in the kitchen as well as stocked with plenty of towels for a family of 4. Also, plenty of towels for the hottub. The kids and dad loved the game room. So many game options and plenty of DVDs to watch in every room. You can NOT stream your favorite apps but they do have direct TV cable that gives you plenty of channels to watch. The living room has electric recliners that were so comfy! We loved the fire pit and all of the swings and games outside on the deck. The Deep Creek winery is only about a mile from the house and has a lovely view. We loved our stay. The kids couldn’t wait to get back in the evenings to play more games!

This is a very well re-done home and TONS of space. I almost wanted to say the pictures were not accurate because there is so much indoor and outdoor space, it is hard to get the whole scale of it. We used the ample kitchen, played games on the main dining table sat outside in 3 different areas, and enjoyed the living room and felt very comfortable in all the spaces. Easy to get into and out of and very well appointed- all the stuff for the kitchen you needed was there. Only tough thing is internet is more than spotty and very tough to make calls, send texts or do anything. Which is understandable- is out in the woods, but we could not even call a restaurant. But a great getaway!

We enjoyed our stay. Check-in and check-out was extremely easy. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The outside deck wrapped around the house with plenty of seating. The house was nestled in the woods which gave it a secluded feel. The backyard had a large fire pit with ample seating around it and there was plenty of wood provided. The property owner was very helpful and accommodating. The only drawback for us being on motorcycles was getting into the gravel driveway. The property owner did warn us about the difficulty we may have. We remedied the situation by passing the driveway and turning around at the top the hill which made it easer to maneuver into the driveway. All-in-all, a very nice place to stay.

Exactly as described. Everything from bath towels out to pool towels for hot tub. Easy check in process and so many recommended things to do and see. Definitely would rent here again!! Loved all the extras included- dvd, games, etc.

The treehouse lodge is the perfect place to stay when you want to spend time with friends or loved ones. Easy access to the great smoky mountains, Cherokee, and Bryson City. Our spend some quality time on the porch, by the fire, or in the game room.

The treehouse lodge was everything advertised and more. All rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated. I’ve stayed at other VRBOs where the owners acted like they were doing you a favor letting you stay there. The Walk’s place was nothing like that. From the provided towels and linens, quality toilet paper and minimal check out instructions, all showed they cared about the guest’s experience. Bryson city was far quieter and less crowded than pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. The games, hot tub, fireplace (with provide firewood) at the cabin were all very much appreciated!

Cabin was clean and had all that we needed for our trip and more! Really not much that I can say except super awesome owners, description on spot, great place to relax and something for the whole family to keep us occupied.

We all really enjoyed our stay. We had 4 adults 1 teenager and a 3 year old and all fit comfortably in the tree house lodge. Mr. and Mrs. Walk keep their cabin stocked with plenty of paper plates, dishes, and little forget me nots. They really think of everything. We didn't know much about Bryson City when we arrived, but it is quite the beautiful town. Bryson City is small, but it has so much to offer. Our week was packed with water tubing, horse back riding (wagon ride for the litte one and adults that didnt wish to go) zip lining, wine tasting with the most fantastic views and train riding. I definitely recommend. The Tree Hose Lodge did not disappoint!

Fantastic cabin, anything and everything you need is there! It is very close to many things to do, we enjoyed Cherokee, Fontana Lake, Bryson City, and Gatlinburg.

Great time with closest friends. We really enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of the owners. The only thing that was not fantastic was the accessibility of the property. Our age range is 65 to 72 years of age and no one was able to stay downstairs because of the step up bathroom situation. Thank goodness for the ramp leading to the front door. The Treehouse Lodge was simply the greatest place for a vacation to unplug and enjoy family time. Even when it rained we could stay outside on the wrap around deck and swing, eat at the table, play pool or read a book. Every morning we had coffee out on the deck. We went to Darnell Farms and had the best tasting strawberries ever, pet baby animals at the petting zoo and saw the most beautiful horses. We went to Cherokee and got to see big bears and little bears! We actually got to feed a baby bear and get our picture taken with him. Darnell Farms was 4 mins away from the lodge and Cherokee was 10 mins away. We grilled out most night and also toasted marshmallows with our Grandaughter. We slept upstairs in the loft which had the most amazingly comfortable bed. I can’t remember when I had a better bed to sleep in besides my own, on vacation. My daughter and I celebrated Mothers Day there and we made memories that we will never forget. We will definitely be back. Most peaceful and greatest place ever!

Loved the location of the property. Sitting every morning outside listening to the cardinals sing was a joy.
