It’s a big ancient house with very nice people. It has a great terrace and great breakfast (much better for non-vegetarians). It is very well decorated and very comfortable for an ancient house. Keep in mind that it is 1.5 hour drive to Barcelona center.

Though the pool is open now 24/7, it could have been a little bit cleaner.

The hotel is fantastic with stunning views. Our room had a lovely balcony and a super comfortable bed. Miriam who runs the hotel could not do enough for us, she is a perfect host. We will definitely return

No bar to take a beer

Love the location and have stayed previously so knew the way it works! Miriam is a lovely host and will always help if she can.

Sadly the restaurant was not open the night we stayed...must return again when it is because the menu is fab!

Beautiful and interesting hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We found a nook and lit a fire and spent a cold wet afternoon drinking wine and chatting. There was also a large kitchen with all facilities to cook up a full meal if the restaurant isn’t for you. What a wonderful location for groups. We were a group of cyclists and this is our second visit. We will be visiting again for sure!

Shower tray needs fixing as it leaked onto the carpet causing a bad smell. Also, the heaters didn’t work that well but this probably isn’t a problem most of the year.

Comfortable room, good breakfast, nice swimming pool! Everything very clean! Staff very friendly and nice. Its good location for getting out of city.

Lovely peaceful location....great choice for breakfasts...honesty bar was excellent value. Loved the restaurant ...our meals were all fabulous and Ferran the chef was a great guy ! His tomato starter and rissotto were out of this world ! Access to the pool was a real bonus ...it was 42 degrees on one of the days we stayed! We also liked the family church nearby.

The Hostel is absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are comfortable and good air-conditioning unit, the whole place is peaceful and in a rural area.the pool area is separate from the hostel and there's a play area for children. You certainly get value for money 😁

There's nothing not to like it's perfect in a quiet location.

Very good breakfast with plenty of different kinds of local sausages, good coffee, nice croissants. Everything spotlessly clean both in the room or in the dining room. The owner, Mrs. Miriam, is very caring person, easy to do with. :-)

The location is not in Masoteras (it is the nearest bigger village) but in very small village of PALOUET, which is 5 km from Massoteras. If you know that than it is very easy to find the place in Palouet. In Masoteras there is a small sign in the end of the village that the Hostal Palouet de Segarra is 5km away, but that sign is very easy to be missed, especially at night.

Great 16th century old style castle turned into a picturesque, modern and comfortable B&B. The original Spanish traditional atmosphere and decor, made us feel transported back in time straight away, while the renovated bathroom and comfortable room made it for a very good overnight rest. The welcoming smile of our nice hostess, Miriam, at 1am after a long drive, was very much appreciated, as was also the great variety of the delicious self-serve breakfast the next morning, with much more on offer than we could ever eat. Thanks so much for the experience, we would like to be able to return here sometime!
