When we first arrived we thought it very clean. Then we noticed a smell finally figures out it was the garbage disposal. It was full of smelly green goop. Gross. We cleaned it out and the smell left. Wi-Fi connection is shared so it is hard to watch movies cause we kept getting kicked off. Maybe an extender would help? It is a beautiful location. We enjoyed the view and sound of the waves. Walks on the beach were nice. Checking in and out was nice and simple.

PROS: That view! Large, open floor plan with a nice balcony and a cute faux fireplace. Comfortable couch and beds. Well-stocked bathrooms, and small library with toys and games. Nice work desk. CONS: If you plan to eat out every night, kitchen will do just fine. But if you plan to cook, bring your own supplies such as foil, coffee filters (the permanent one left sludge in our cups until we lined it with paper towels), tall kitchen trash bags, plastic wrap/bags (no bowls with lids for storage), frying pan, measuring cup for liquid, glass serving bowls, serving spoons (there's only one).

The view of the condo and the cleanliness of the condo I would rate high. The difficulty that we had with the condo was the front door code, and it not working for us in order to enter the condo. Because this issue was never resolved with the management, each time we left the unit, the door was left unlocked. This unit required you entering a code in order to get into the condo and having to turn a deadbolt that spun in circles and then pull down on a latch in order to enter. This was difficult for myself, and my two friends to enter a code very fast and try to push down on a deadbolt that appeared to be broken. We all suffer from arthritis in our hands, and this was frustrating and extremely irritating. The management staff ignored our text to see if they had found a resolve to the situation. Each time that we left the condo, we had to just hope nobody would enter it because the door was unlocked. I would never rent this unit again. They need to come up with a much easier way to enter the unit. I have stayed at several of these units over past years and I have never experienced a issue like this.

This condo is a great option for couples or families. But two complaints: (1) the carpet in the entire unit needs to be replaced or get a very deep cleaning. Massive stains in numerous places in the 2-bedroom 2-bathroom condo and it was very musty smelling. We were shocked, quite frankly, and we contacted Vacasa sending them photos of the stains. We hope that anyone staying in the unit in the future has cleaner carpets. (2) There was no information sheet provided to us visitors. We have rented MANY vacation units across the US and every place in which we have stayed had an information sheet or binder providing visitor/renter information such as how to use the TV/cable system, appliances, etc. All it takes is a one-page sheet with information to help the visitor have a more pleasant stay in the unit. Case in point: this unit has an antiquated garbage disposal; no turn on switch. I jokingly said, “What are we supposed to do, push down on the sink stopper?” Yep, that’s what it took.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jewel by the Sea! Great ocean views from the comfortable well appointed kitchen, dining and living room. The unit is well kept and very clean. Along with a comfortable bed made for a great all round experience.

3rd floor oceanic view was nice, but woke up to drilling, banging, and man on ladder outside bedroom window. When asked what he was doing we were cussed at. Called Vacasa and they said they would get back to us and did not. The building office informed us Vacasa knew about the scheduled work and rented the site anyways. Tried to contact Vacasa again without success. Construction went on all day.

Great location with several other rentals on the property which was great as we had 3 families traveling together. The shared pool and hot tub was nice. This unit had a good view of the ocean, comfortable beds and roomy enough for our family of 5. Good communication from Vacasa.

When we decided to take our adult kids and their significant others to the beach with us, my main priority was getting a place with an easy view of the ocean. Jewel of the Sea delivered! Hearing the waves crashing as we went to bed at night was so peaceful and just what I needed. The kitchen was SO well stocked too! My daughter was thrilled to see the electric kettle and I think I used the griddle every day. My son and his girlfriend loved the cute little amenities like the wine glasses, pineapple shaped to go cups and the refillable "grunt" bottle from Blackbeard's brewing down the street.

The view was spectacular and the couch was great to watch the waves and movies.

We had a very relaxing stay. The accommodation was excellent, spacious and very comfortable; view was fabulous, and the ocean a brief walk away. Maintenance required - a couple of light bulb need replacing. Couldn't figure out how to turn on the garburator.

The condo was in great shape. Clean and with all the amenities advertised. Beautiful view of the ocean. Close to canneries for Dungeness crab and we went razor clam digging which was a lot of fun. Also close by to the historic lighthouse, great tour!

This home had many thoughtful touches, a gorgeous view of the ocean, and an easy walk to access the beach. We can't wait to come back to stay again!

Great to be able to walk on beach and path. First couple of dishes we picked up from cupboard were dirty? Otherwise plenty clean. It would be helpful if clear statement about availability of hot tub. We loved our stay.

We have stayed many times with Vacasa but in this instance, we did not get replies to emails, received only canned replies to complaints about no WiFi. Two of our party needed WiFi for work access and I explained this. Nothing was done. It was advertised to have WiFi and these days a basic, important service. I have asked for a partial refund.

This is my second time staying here and just love it. Clean, has everything you need, quiet and close to the beach. We were a little disappointed that the wifi didn't work the whole stay even after reaching out. At least we got some sunshine!

The beach! The view from the condo was wonderful and the weather cooperated! We were glad to get out of the smoke for a few days and enjoyed exploring the beach and Westport again. This condo is on the 3rd floor of building 2 and there is no elevator to that floor---getting suitcases, coolers, etc. up to the third floor was a challenge! I may have missed that item in the description!

Very clean. Lots of space and very comfortable! Frying pan sucks. Either bring your own or PAM. If you particular about using spices more than salt and pepper bring your own. No ice machine, grab a bag of ice. Ice cube trays inadequate. This was our first time renting like this and wew under prepared. All and all a great time! My biggest complaint!! 10:00 am for check-out is really inconvenient. No time for breakfast and do check-out duties too. Packing and loading the car takes time. Asking for more money is irritating.

I am from Kansas so being close to the beach was important. I could watch and listen to the waves all and all night. It was beautiful and very peaceful. Place met all my needs. Would rent again. First time renting through Vacasa, and they were great to work with. I will use them again.

Location, quiet, view

We loved the closeness to the ocean and the wonderful view! The condo was very clean and the beds were great! Communication with host was easy. We have rented vacation homes for years and this was one of the best ones!

We loved our two day stay, wish we had more time. The condo had everything we needed from the full kitchen, kids books/toys, great ocean view, to the comfortable beds, easy access to the beach. The heated swimming pool and hot tub are definitely a plus. Make sure to reserve the hot tub if you want to use in the peak hours. Mini golf was fun for the kids. Will definitely go back.

The condo accommodated us well. The access to the beach was close & easy to get to. The sunsets were breathtaking.

The place accommodated 6 people and there were 4 of us which was perfect. It would have been tight for 6 people. If you want to cook in - which we did - the kitchen provided bare necessities only. The view was wonderful; lovely sunsets. Pool and putting greens were fun, also. We'd return.

This was my second time staying at Vacations By The Sea. Loved it both times. Can’t wait to return.

Spacious third floor condo with wonderful ocean view and easy access to long sandy beach. The kitchen is well equipped and couches and beds are very comfortable. We felt instantly relaxed and really enjoyed the ocean view and wonderful ocean breeze. Things we loved: - Ocean view and great floor plan! Units are designed so that you don’t see or hear neighbors on either side. Windows and door to deck open, allowing you to enjoy the waves and breeze, but block out the sound of the waves if that’s not your thing. - Watching surfers early in the morning. - Location next to state park (with no overnight camping). There was ~ one mile stretch of sandy beach along the park with few access points, providing a lovely and private beach for walking. Once you get to the jetty, you can walk or bike along a trail to the pier. Beach walk to the south was nice too. - NO CARS on the beach! - Fish tacos at Aloha Alabama BBQ - Northwest Carriage Museum in nearby Raymond - Practicing putting, playing basketball, and swimming at the clubhouse. - Barbecues and picnic stables at the clubhouse. - So many sand dollars on the beach! - Westport Pirate Days - Washer and dryer in unit - so nice to have at the beach! - Nice clubhouse and friendly staff on duty. I will never stay at a hotel at the ocean again. This was so much better!

I'm not sure if it was the time of year but the condo and surrounding area was so quiet and peaceful. It was clean and just wonderful. Thank you

Our family had a great three-day stay in this beautiful condo on the ocean. The view was breathtaking. The entire condo was throughly cleaned. The place had everything we needed from a full kitchen, comfortable beds to kids books/toys. We are looking forward to the next trip back.

This place is a slice of heaven....perfect view, so clean, everything you would need. We went to relax and this condo fulfilled every dream we had of making that happen. We will be back again and again :)

We really loved the location. It was child friendly once we put the telescope in the closet. There were some books and toys for the kids.
Unlike most rentals I've been to the cookware is usable! The kitchen is completely functional.
The only down side to the location was lugging sleeping kids up stairs.
This trip would have been perfect if it it weren't for the construction on the beach Dune outside the rental for the duration of a our trip. It was loud and we couldn't go to the beach in front of the rental due to the heavy equipment.
Other than that it could have been cleaned better, there was pubic hair all over the bathroom shower and the bathroom floor (master bathroom) and some of the dishes that had been put away still had food on them.
The unit itself is great, the view was awesome! You'll love it!
