Property was spacious & accomodated us 6 women comfortably. It was convenient to everything. Haus was well stocked, but would be nice to have a coffee table in living room to have place for drinks. We all really enjoyed ourselves.

The house was perfect for our family. It was clean and cozy. We wanted something a little removed from Main St. but still close enough to venture into town and this house fit our need very well. It was quiet and located across an undeveloped patch of land which gave a secluded feel even though we had neighbors on all other sides. Very conveniently located with town a short drive/walk away.

We just stayed for a girls trip and the house was perfect! We fit comfortably and the house was clean and well stocked. Would highly recommend!

Over all this is a nice place. Upon arrival, it was clean and ready to go. The kitchen has been nicely remodeled. Please be forewarned that the stairs going up to the two upstairs bedrooms and upstairs bathroom are very steep. An elderly person or persons with knee or back problems will find it difficult to navigate the stairs. (There are two bedrooms and a full bath downstairs.) Also, something to consider would be the upstairs bathroom. The tub/shower is in a place where the roof line comes down at a 45 degree angle. I am 5'2". The shower head was right at the top of my forehead. It would be very difficult for a tall person to comfortably fit in this shower. The floors are creaky so, if you want to be able to walk around like a "church mouse" in the early morning or late at night, this place will not suit your needs.

The house is on a quiet street but close to Main Street. We had an amazing time. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Fredericksburg

This was the most adorable house for our bachelorette weekend! Charming and near the Main Street shopping and festivities, yet quiet and cozy for down time. Highly recommend!

This house is lovely with plenty of room. Great Den and couches that seat everyone, beds are super comfortable and all the rooms are big. Will definitely rent it again.

My family and I stayed here for a nice weekend getaway. Nice, quaint home and had a solid stay. We a small issue that came up and couldn’t get a hold of any of the property management. Even after leaving a voicemail, no one responded. Luckily, we were able to resolve the issue ourselves. This didn’t spoil our trip but it’s something to note. Good time overall.

We stayed here for our annual girls trip and I would say that the consensus was that the house is need of a good cleaning and that the pictures were quite deceiving. The shower upstairs is awful. I’m 5’8” and the shower head was so low that I had to lean back to wash my hair and the ceiling is at a slant so not only do you have to lean back but also over, otherwise you will hit your head on the slanted ceiling. We made due but couldn’t imagine this working out for an older individual or if we had included our husbands on the trip. The pictures of this house made it seem fresh, clean and bright. It was none of those things. The one word that comes to mind when thinking about this property is dingy. We’ve had great luck in past years with awesome properties, but I have to say we struck out with this one; I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We wanted to try something different this year with my kids grown and families of their own, we are scattered across the state. So I came up with the idea of doing our family Christmas in Fredericksburg, because we love the town and have never been at Christmas time. The house was beautiful and plenty big enough to accommodate us all. The beds were extremely comfortable. Everything we needed and more.

This house is much bigger than it appears in the photos. We had a large family gathering, and everybody loved the house!

The house was amazing. Very quiet street with an outstanding back patio area. We were able to sit outside in the evening and enjoy our adult beverages, make new memories and laugh abundantly! The morning coffee was enjoyed on the front porch in the rocking chairs and the deer. The location is less than half a mile from all the shops, food, wine tours and nightlife. The short drive is worth the peace and quiet. It is nice to be away from the "action" after a few long days exploring everything Fredericksburg has to offer!

This house was perfect for our group of 8, with each couple having their own bedroom. 3 of the 4 bedrooms have king beds and the 4th has a double bunk — two Queen (I think) beds stacked. Comfortable back porch and a fire pit area if you bring your own firewood (and assuming there is not a burn ban). Kitchen had everything we needed, though we only cooked one meal. Overall, a great home for the price and relatively near the prime downtown areas. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time at this house. We had 7 women for a bachelorette trip. There was more than enough space for all of us to hang out together! We loved being so close to Main street, too!

Overall, I had 2 great, comfortable, and pleasant nights. I loved the easy access to the owner and the well organized thingy. I would recommend it to anyone who desires and deserves something special.. we enjoy the games .

We had a very relaxing, peaceful stay at MJ Haus! The neighborhood was nice and the turkey across the street made for a pleasant view, a nice change of scenery!
