My husband, parents, and my dog and I had the perfect time in Venice at Barefoot Dreams. Gerry was so communicative. We had zero issues at the house. We felt right at home! The house has plenty of living space to spread out and is stocked better than my own home! It is close to everything you could need and a short drive to the beach. Most mornings we would take to dog the 5-minute drive to Shamrock park for a gorgeous walk along the Venetian Waterway. The kitchen was great for cooking ANY meal at home. They have everything! And the coffee bar was a really nice touch. The attention to detail here was incredibly thoughtful. And the beds were super comfortable. We highly recommend Barefoot Dreams and we hope to book again in the future!

We stayed at Barefoot Dreams for a week and we wish we could have stayed longer. The house was perfect and had everything to make our stay feel like home. The hosts Gerry & Dennis were very nice and checked with us to make sure we were settled in or needed anything. The house was very close to the beach, restaurants, and downtown Venice. Which we took advantage of nearly every day. Very relaxing neighborhood away from major roads. Would stay there again. Glenn and Marianne

This house was perfect for a quick long weekend rental. Just having paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, k cups, dish soap etc etc available and not having to purchase was so convenient! The house is very close to everything and super convenient. Beds were very comfortable the house is impeccably clean and decorated adorably. We had a great weekend away and the 85 degrees all weekend was a bonus. Ty to Gerry & her husband for the use of their beautiful home ❤️

Without a doubt the nicest place we have stayed in the gulf coast area. Home was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, great beds, spotless bathrooms, family room and Florida room were pleasant to lounge in. The pool in the backyard is new and clean and very refreshing. Very close to Venice beach and just 25 minutes or so to Crescent Beach in Siesta Key. We went to both beaches multiple times. Garage was very clean, great washer and dryer, and new beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach cart, and clean beach coolers. Even had 4 different size fishing rods on wall! Neighborhood was quiet, safe and the neighbors were friendly too. One lady stopped to chat and she was very welcoming. Venice was a great town to visit as well. We happened to be there for the Sun Festival and the locals were all there and they were friendly! Again, we had a great week and we will definitely come back to this home if it's available next time we come to the Venice FL area!

Loved the house. It was very comfortable and well supplied and thought out. Gerry was very easy to work with. Great line of communications. We rented the house for about a week while waiting for our house to close. It was a nice retreat between all the chaos. Highly recommend and dog friendly. 🐾

Enjoyed our visit! House was beautiful inside, clean and was supplied with everything you could possible need! Easy drive to everything we wanted to do! And hosts answered any questions we had promptly!

Gerry was great to work with. Checked in on us to see if everything was ok and if we needed anything. We have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals. This home was stocked exceptionally well. If you forgot anything or needed something it was more than likely there. We brought beach chairs and sifters but Loved having use of the beach wagon and extra sifters when going to beach. We enjoyed our stay.

Loved it. Quiet neighborhood. House was clean and delightfully decorated in a beach style. So many amenities. Pool was great with lots of pool toys. Shopping, restaurants and grocery stores very close. Beach was very close too. I’d certainly go back!

Our family has stayed at many short term rentals and decided that this was one of the best ever. We kept saying "This is the perfect place to stay". They really did a nice job decorating and making sure you have EVERYTHING you need. And then some. Lots of small extras that you wouldn't expect, and you don't need to go out to get all the little things you need for a home. Plenty of everything and the coffee bar was GREAT. So easy to make coffee throughout the day. Fantastic communication from the host, perfect location and nice pool to cool off. Overall, we LOVED it and think you should choose to stay here for your next trip. Thanks for hosting us! :)

Communication with host was superb, waiting no more than a few minutes for a response each time. Home was newly updated throughout, inside and out. Property was very well stocked with ample amounts products for use, towels, pillows, bedding, etc. The home felt spacious especially with the Florida Room space available. The pool was a good size and all of the exterior living space was wonderful. Location to several beaches 15 minutes away or less allowed us to explore many beaches during our 4 day stay. I will mention this home is one of the nicest on the block and in the neighborhood. It appears this neighborhood has no HOA and you do see some evidence of that with other homes nearby, but we had no incidents or issues with neighbors. Would definitely stay again!

The property was even better than the description! I came down for a week to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. I needed to work for a few days and the office area was perfect for that! The hosts are fabulous with their communication and provided everything you need to make the time there just wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about my time there. I brought my dog and he had a great time as well. I will definitely look to rent this property again on my future visits! Thank you.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this property over the Thanksgiving holiday. The home is very well maintained and clean. The kitchen well stocked, and the owners did an excellent job in anticipating anything we might need during our stay. The beds were comfortable, even the twin beds in the 2nd bedroom. The owners were very easy to reach in the event we had a question or needed assistance. Our only disappointment was the weather not being warm enough to fully enjoy the pool.

We really enjoyed our stay in Venice and at Barefoot Dreams. The owner Gerry was so pleasant and helpful and has thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The house is clean, nicely furnished and well stocked. Everything we needed was already in the house. We enjoyed mornings under the screened in lanai and the pool was great! This property is close to everything in the Venice area. There are several beaches within a short drive and many outdoor restaurants with beautiful water views within a short drive. The information guide prepared by the owners is great with many great recommendations for restaurants, beaches and other things in the area. We would definitely stay at Barefoot Dreams again. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. But our stay was better because of the wonderful property we stayed at and the wonderful owners who made sure our stay was the best experience. We highly recommend this property for anyone interested in enjoying the Venice area.

We had a great week in Venice. Gerry is awesome and beyond accommodating. We really enjoyed the house and pool. The house was super cute, clean and had everything we needed to make our stay easy. The beach chairs and umbrella were exactly what you need for a day at the beach. The location is awesome and convenient to so much. We went to beaches in Venice, Siesta Key and Anna Maria Island. We had a great week and will be back!!

We had the best experience staying at the Venice Gardens property. Not only was the house spotless and exactly like the listing stated, the hosts literally thought of everything to make our stay super enjoyable. Our kids were obsessed with the pool and it also was very clean and well kept. We will most definitely stay here again!

One of the cleanest and most well stocked rentals we have stayed in! Very comfortable and cozy. Fully renovated. Close to Fox Lea Farms where my daughters were competing. Next summer we will be back at Barefoot Dreams! Thanks Gerry :)

It was very clean and homey feeling. It was bigger on the inside than the pictures looked online. Plenty of pool toys for the kids. Well furnished with kitchen supplies utensils paper towels toilet paper. Good communication with the hostess. Easy drive to numerous places.

Furnishings & provisions were well beyond our expectations! We had a wonderful week at Barefoot Dreams! Recommendations by owners were spot on. The Sun Coast Cafe at the airport was awesome for breakfast. Chef Tony & staff were so kind to our grandchildren. Sharky’s was one of our favorites. We highly recommend this unit.

I can't tell you how many times we had small moments like this. This property has anything you can think of. Moreover, there's plenty of it. We've all checked into properties with a quarter-roll of TP and maybe 3 trash bags. No: there was enough TP for our 10 day stay and likely enough trash bags to get through 15 years or so. Clean? Please... this was the cleanest property we've ever been in, hands-down. I don't know if they wrote the book on how to be the best hosts on VRBO, but I guarantee you they read it. Location? This place is a 15 minutes drive from anything and everything, including any of the Venice beaches. Phenomenal experience - these hosts would make Conrad Hilton himself, blush.
