From the fabulous view to the great hosts to the amenities provided, this rental property was incredible. We very much enjoyed our stay. A true gem!

This pl ace was amazing. Very clean and had all the cooking necessities plus more. The washer and dryer was a big plus as there were seven of us. It was nice to get away to small villages. Waking up to the sunrises and lobster boats going out was so serene. Our three grandchildren loved the beach. We had such a wonderful time. You can’t go wrong with this place.

The Seaside house was just as advertised—well-appointed, clean, and quiet. Great views, fabulous kitchen, and a new screened porch made for a perfect week.

A beautiful home in a beautiful location! Secluded and quiet with a truly amazing view. My wife and I along with 3 adult children and our 2 black labs spent a very relaxing week. No excursions, just a relaxing week away. Each morning was a unique experience. A perfect sunrise, fog lifting slowly as the islands come into view, lobster boats pulling up pods right in front of you, and the views of the changing tide. A great place to relieve the stress and unwind. No hustle and bustle of a crowded beach. Just long strolls with the dogs during low tide walking in the chilly yet refreshing water ankle deep. Fresh seafood cooked at home each night. Lobsters from Look Lobster, Mussels from Mossabec Mussels, steamers from Atlantic shellfish, and of course we had to try the local Pizza from Jonesport Pizza. All recommended by owners Lauri and Dax. Lauri, Dax, their dog Teddy as well as for all of the people in Jonesport could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Life is laid back here and everyone you meet has time for a chat. A true Maine experience for us that we thoroughly enjoyed. Dan and Jeanne G

The reviews do not even come close to how amazing this property is. From the view to the great host to the extra amenities provided, this house was incredible. We really did not want to have to go home! The three bedrooms were perfect for our two teens and us. We loved walking on the beach at low tide, which was for a much longer amount of time than we anticipated. The location is peaceful and quiet, but within 1 hour of lots of great hiking, swimming and other fun. We hiked at Quoddy Head State Park, Tunk Mountain, Acadia National Park and Great Wass Island Nature Conservancy. We swam & snorkeled at Spring River Lake, Tunk Lake and Donnell Pond. My son reported that Tunk Lake had the most abundant fish and clearest water. My husband and I wine tasted at Catherine Hill while the teens enjoyed yummy chocolate cake. I biked the Sunrise Trail. We enjoyed dinners on the screened porch, which was perfect given the mosquitos in Maine! Falling asleep to the sound of the waves with fresh, cool air coming through the windows was beyond relaxing. Overall, this property truly exceeded our expectations. Thank you Lauri & Dax for a relaxing way to end our summer and escape Covid craziness.

This is our second summer in a row staying here. It’s a very long drive for us with a young child and worth every minute of it. The house is just perfect—comfortable, clean, great kitchen—all with a focus on the ocean view. There are steps to the beach and then a short rocky patch to walk over before a flat beach that is very private you can walk at high tide. Both summers our child said they wanted to live there forever. Lauri and Dax are fantastic hosts and know the area well. We had a mix of fog and sun, and loved relaxing at the house in all of it. Hope to see you again soon Lauri and Dax!!!

Beautiful location. Clean and spacious property. Owners were great both before and during stay. House is not yet listed on maps but directions are clear. Maybe a little more remote than we were expecting based on previous visit to Maine but even local grocery store/pizza place had great food. We cooked most nights. Modern TVs in each room was great for kids. Fire pit nice in evenings. We hired 2 kayaks. Need at least 2 adults to get up and down steps to beach but fabulous exploring nearby islands. Great local boat cruise too. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful vacation at this property! It's a beautiful home in a perfect setting. It was immaculately clean, and had extra amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable, such as outdoor games, books, etc. The owners are very accessible and friendly, and responded promptly to every question. I can't recommend this property highly enough.

We loved our stay at Lauri’s house. It was even better than the pictures and I can see why people return for another stay. Acadia was 1 hour 30 minutes from the house, we went 3 times, but really enjoyed relaxing at the house as well. We loved messing around on the beach at low tide - looking for rocks, shells, creatures and playing in the sand. Jonesport was small with only a couple of places to get groceries or eat. Beals and Great Wass island nearby are fun to check out. There are updates to the house that were not pictured: all 3 bedrooms have beds and a brand new, beautiful, screened in porch off the master. Beds were comfortable. Blackout curtains were a nice touch. Flowers were amazing. Towels were new and soft. New TVs and great working Wifi. Kitchen was well equipped. Cooking lobster outside in the propane boiling pot was great fun (6 lobsters for about $55, right off the dock in Jonesport- Look lobster). Lauri provides more than typical VRBO properties (toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels) which was much appreciated. Don’t hesitate to book this property- it’s a hidden gem!

We had the most wonderful week at Lauri and Dax's! The house was perfect in every way - location, set up, amenities, space, kitchen...we could go on and on! We were there to spend precious time with our college-aged kids and to get them to sit still was an amazing feat! We all loved everything the property offered - the beach, ocean, fire pit, large deck. To see our kids relax, engage, laugh, play games, and make memories was such a gift and we are so very grateful to Lauri and Dax!

Beautiful well appointed extremely clean home, beautiful waterfront home,we enjoyed watching lobster boats the sunrise we even watched seals chasing fish,book this lovely one of a kind home.

This place is fantastic. Everything about this rental was perfect: the view stunning, the house well laid out, the beds comfortable, the grounds delightful, the house spotless. Lauri has thought of everything—firewood for indoor and outdoor fireplaces, easy walkways and a staircase to the beach, sand toys, lawn games, well equipped kitchen...I could go on. This was a great house for young children and adults alike. There is a sand beach for playing at low tide, as well as rocks to explore. Lauri is a fantastic host—communicative and very responsive. We could not be more pleased with our week and hope to be back.

This was our second stay at this property and we absolutely loved our visit again. The home was super clean, the view is incredible and the owners are great to work with. We loved exploring the beach every day looking for shells and sea glass, our dogs enjoyed exploring the property and we enjoyed the quiet days on the deck overlooking the ocean. We look forward to returning next summer!

We had an amazing stay. From the time we arrive, our experience was great. Lauri had everything ready for us. She provided cleaning supplies, gloves, wipes and we truly appreciated that. She certainly adjusted to the rules around the COVID virus and we felt comfortable being in the house. The location is amazing and we enjoyed the beach. 5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️!

We had a wonderful stay at Lauri and Dax's cottage! We came for a quiet (and socially distant!) getaway with our small children. The cottage was perfect for that...we had a lot of fun at the home and on the property. The inside is impeccably clean, well-stocked and has very comfortable beds. The big doors and windows allows you to enjoy the beautiful view no matter where you are. It was a little foggy this time of year, but still beautiful and enjoyed listening to the lobster boats and waves. The patio, fire pit and large private beach were great for our family. The kids really enjoyed beach-combing and playing in the sand at low tide. Lauri offered us some great spots to picnic and hike, and a nice bottle of wine for the parents! Couple things to note: bring bug spray as the mosquitoes are intense (at least in July anyway)! Be sure to read the details when you receive the cottage's address, some gps systems won't bring you to the correct location but Lauri was very easy to contact to help guide us. Thank you Lauri and Dax for a very pleasant stay, it was wonderful- highly recommend!!!

This is the first property we have rented that far exceeded our expectations. The owner was very helpful as we planned our stay; settled in upon arrival and executed our day to day plans. If you are looking to get away from the hustle of city life and seek a peaceful rejuvenating get-away, this place is for you! We are already planning our stay for next summer and considering the purchase of a seasonal home! You cannot go wrong with this area . . . and especially this wonderful rental property!

The ocean was our constant companion during a lovely week in Jonesport. The house was impeccably clean and meticulously landscaped. Weather favored us with many sunny days reading on the deck. My family and I had a wonderful time and would be happy to return. Thank you!
