The Washington Park area of Albany is near a number of restaurants and walkable streets. The apartment was well-appointed and airy. All communications with the host were productive, and the 2-hour daytime parking situation was easily figured out (parking spots always seem to be available). The street of elegant town-houses is actually the only place to enjoy a park view.

My friend and I were in need of a home away from home for a few days and Lloyd and his apartment provided just that! Cozy, quiet, and perfectly located. We felt cared for with all communications. Thank you, Lloyd!

The property is nice and feels secure, it's clear the host has given much thought to the listing. There is a nice tv in the bedroom as well as the living room. The bedroom also has a fan that is nice for more air movement. I stayed for 4 nights and it was as described. Would stay again. Thanks

We came for a quick trip to the city and loved this great spot. The park across the street is lovely and the apartment is located close to downtown and close to the university. Everything was great, communication was quick, and we slept soundly in this sweet little space. We will definitely reserve this location again- highly recommend!

The apartment is super clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. It has everything you need. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and the location next to the park is fantastic! The area is walkable and close to some tasty restaurants. Definitely a great option to stay in Albany.

We stayed for a long weekend. We found the apartment to be charming, clean, very comfortable and Lloyd was a great communicator. It was also nice to have the park across the street and walk to the local coffee shops. We would enjoy returning for another stay!

Enjoyed our evening at this beautiful apartment! Tall ceilings and windows add to the loveliness of the rooms. Clean and fully equipped. Quiet night- we slept well. Would stay here again.

Walk to restaurants and beautiful Washington Park is right Across the street. Easy parking on street behind building and short term right in front of building. Bed is very comfortable. Don’t hesitate to come unless you can’t walk up a short flight of stairs. Host is very accommodating

The apartment was perfect for our stay. We walked for dinner at Rain, it was delicious. I loved looking at the architecture in the old neighborhood.

We are extremely happy with our stay and would absolutely book this unit again on our next stay in Albany! It's beautiful right from when you walk in. Original wood staircase and chandelier. The actual unit was spacious, extremely clean and comfortable. Everything is labeled and easy to understand. The binder left on the coffee table was great help with restaurant recommendations and other clear instructions. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I especially appreciated the black makeup towel, so I wasn't paranoid about getting makeup on their white towels. The street parking was not an issue for us, we moved our truck a couple times, it wasn't a big deal at all.

The perfect little spot in Albany! Right across from the park, which made it easy to enjoy the nice weather. They also provided shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel which was very much appreciated. The space was very cute and clean, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Lloyd had great communication and was super helpful and fielding my parking and other questions. Lovely stay here with our older teenage sons, who played soccer in the park just across the street while us parents walked around. This place is bright and clean and pleasant, very well-kept. We were in Albany for a very brief trip but had such a wonderful comfortable overnight here! So clean, and easy to check in! It was lovely.

Convenient entrance to the building and the apartment, with clear instructions all along the way, including within the unit. Great apartment with all useful amenities and great views of the park. Great host with other units in the building.

I rented this space for my mother so she could be near my father while he was in the hospital. She absolutely loved it--said it was clean, pretty, and had easy-to-use instructions for everything. Lloyd was very communicative and answered all my questions. My mom was able to park at the hospital and walk (about a 15 minute walk) to and from the apartment. I highly recommend.

This unit is outstanding in so many ways that it made the fact that we had to walk up 26 steps to get in, much less cumbersome. Lloyd even tried to suggest we use the bottom unit to avoid so many steps (we're both 65 and I have bad knees), but we wanted to be able to sit at the alcove in the morning and enjoy Washington Park as we sipped our coffee. It was perfection. And it's so convenient to the downtown area and the Empire State Plaza. We highly recommend the Dutch Apple River Cruise. Overall, we had a great stay. The 19th century charm of this beautiful brown stone cannot be beat.
