Very quaint area, the apartment was charming. Everything was very clean. Accessing the rental was easy.

We were passing through for a very brief (late evening thru morning) visit Albany. The space itself is very clean, cozy and has beautiful character. The host had great communication and couldn’t have made the check-in/check-out process any easier. The location across from the park made it very nice to wake up and head out for a morning walk. Shops and restaurants were only a short walk away! We only had a brief stay but were very much left wanting to come back and spend more time checking out Albany. Highly recommended!

Lloyd has done such a great job of maintaining the vintage feel with modern conveniences. The Brownstone sits in a historic area across from a beautiful park with views from both windows. We, unfortunately, were not able to stay our entire visit, but LLoyd responded immediately and worked with VRBO to even get us a refund. I recommend this host for his attention and compassion in a difficult situation.

The place was off-the-charts clean, great combination of retaining the significant and beautiful historical elements of the apartment and modern amenities, superb communication from Lloyd, fantastic location with the beautiful park across the street and a 10 minute walk to downtown Albany. Absolutely perfect stay for me and my 17 year old daughther. Highly recommend!

On our way to White Mountain National Park we stopped in Albany to do some sightseeing. Location was perfect and beautifully situated across from Washington Park. Apartment was perfect and everything was labeled for easy use, and I mean everything. Bed was comfortable, water pressure was great. Cookware, dishes, spices, Everything we needed was there. Park had a farmers market on Sat. which was perfect for groceries. Lark street had a bunch of coffee shops and restaurants.

Very responsive and friendly owner, recommend to check this place out for whoever stays in Albany.

It was in a great location and you can tell is kept very clean. The place is so unique, I gushed over all the woodwork! It's got everything you need for an overnight stay or a long term stay. I picked it specifically for the neighborhood, because all of the other places I looked at had reviews that said they didn't feel safe walking around. We were very comfortable here. We'll definitely pick one of Lloyd's places again if we come back!

Location was just perfect for one night of exploring Albany. The park across the street is beautiful! And there are many coffee, bar, and restaurant options within walking distance. The apartment was as pictured, and comfortable. We didn't have any noise issues, but ear plugs were provided. Also, notes and instructions were placed around the apartment so there was never any question on how or what to do. Highly recommend this stay!!

This apartment is just the right size for 2, it is also close to many things. The park across the street is beautiful. The apartment had everything we needed during our stay, and Lloyd was always very responsive to messages. His check in and out instructions were VERY clear and thorough. Everything inside was labeled nicely too, so we knew what light switches did what, how to work the AC, etc.

Lloyd’s apartment was wonderful! The decor is lovely, impeccably clean and the location was ideal. Many restaurants within walking distance—had a delicious meal outside at “Shogun Sushi” on Madison and a cappuccino at “The Grind” on Lark St. Washington Park, just across the street made for a nice place to stroll Sunday evening. Got a parking spot directly in front of the building, and since it was a Sunday, parking was free! A bonus! Communication was super easy, responsive and thorough. Thanks again for sharing your home with us! All of the positive feedback from other renters was true!

If you travel to Albany, NY, this is the place you want to stay! Lloyd, the host, was always quick to respond and on top of everything so nothing to worry about there! The brownstone is an amazing piece of architecture. It is beautiful and set up perfectly for a stay. The old fireplace and mantle are stunning! The windows both have a large window seat with a view of Washington Park across the street but have shades that give complete privacy when desired. The kitchen area has everything you need to eat in if you choose. Instructions for air conditioner, fans, tv, etc. we’re all easily accessible and understandable in the unit. There was even a motion activated night light near the bathroom that I would have never thought of needing but appreciated very much! I’ll say it again, if you are headed to Albany and love historic buildings (with all the modern conveniences) this brownstone will not disappoint! AMAZING!!!
