The location and view were fantastic. Rick the Host was very responsive for questions pre-trip and when we were there in the condo. The condo was big enough for our family of 8 and the beds were all very comfortable. There was a great refrigerator that was big and kept everything very cold. Having a big patio with a nice BBQ and a table with a fire in the center was wonderful. There was an air conditioning unit in the upstairs bedroom and a fan for the lower room. The furnishings were not new but comfortable for our family with plenty of seating for eating and when we played games. Rick provided a couple of boogie boards and chairs. There was plenty of storage space for our luggage and places to put our belongings. It was just steps from the beach and walk to the Boardwalk where there were restaurants, shops, and ice cream. There was also a Vons grocery store minutes by car. The beach in front is reserved for surfers from noon to 6 pm and the swimming and boogie boarders just had to move down the beach beyond a checkered flag. There were plenty of lifeguards present and we saw SD PD patrolling the sand at night. The walkway in front of the condo is very busy with bikes and walkers, nice to people watch. This is a place if you love the sun, waves, and family. Many SD activities are close. We will come again.

This location was amazing. Beautiful ocean views. The unit was perfect for our family. We hope to stay there again.

Staying here is wonderful - right on the ocean with the sand across the boardwalk. The owner is very quick to respond to any questions or problems. We just had one bathroom sink drain slowly but someone came out right away to fix that. The property is comfortable and has everything you need. It is an older building that suffers from being close to the ocean but inside has been upgraded. I wish the security door wasnt broken but the main door locks fine.

Wonderful location right on the Boardwalk! Owner very responsive to some issues we had. Needs some new kitchen utensils and knives - for the proximity to Belmont Park and just overall convenient location, it’s perfect!

Loved the location. Everything within walking distance and a perfect porch to relax and watch the waves and people. Family played on the beach all day.

The view was amazing. The location is super convenient to restaurants and coffee shops. We loved walking on the paved path every morning and evening. Some people commented on the tight parking but we were able to fit a minivan in the parking spot. We had a great time!

The parking is tight but workable wouldn't recommend a big truck...but the condo was fabulously cozy had everything we needed from pan's to boogie boards. The location is the best a quick walk to the Starbucks, liqour store, food or Rollercoaster. Definitely will stay here again

House was great an fit our beach/wedding needs. Larger than expected. Location to Belmont Part and amenities within minutes. Owner was extremely helpful with additional parking and local options. Can’t wait to book again

This condo was perfect. Great location and the view was incredible.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. The views are amazing. By nature I am an early riser, and I normally dread getting up early, but with these views and being able to enjoy my coffee in peace while sitting outside listening to the waves made each morning a joy. Our teenage son was able to boogey board each morning right outside the patio. I also had to work during our stay, and I was able to attend Zoom meetings and get work done just fine (FYI, there are two routers accessible so test which one works best for you the day before so you have a great connection. The strength of the connection varies depending on where in the house you are. Internet in the downstairs bedroom is spotty at best). The kitchen was fully stocked and having our own grill outside allowed us to make almost every meal at the condo. We only ate out once and that was only to try a restaurant that was recommended to us. We made margaritas and pina coladas in the blender provided. Here are the negatives (which we were happy to deal with given the overwhelming positives): (1) the parking spot is extremely small-we have a GMC Acadia and it barely, barely fit (back it in) and (2) there are a lot of flies, but that is normal given the beach. Just be sure to keep the screen doors closed as much as possible. Tips: (1) while beach chairs and boogey boards are provided, if you have a child over 5 feet, I recommend bringing your own board due to the size of the boards in the unit. This is not a negative, just a tip; (2) bring a beach umbrella or similar shade; and (3) know that the lifeguards post flags about 8:30 am to designate surfing areas and areas for swim and boogey boarding. Some mornings the boogey boarding area was in front of the unit and sometimes it was not, but the designated areas was only about 5 houses down. We would stay here again and have already recommended the unit to a friend.

Good spot for being directly on the beach!

This was our first time renting a beachfront property. We had a fabulous time and the location is super. The condo is as advertised and pictured. Overall a very comfortable unit. The only cons about this unit and San Diego in general is parking. You get one spot and we never saw any available "street parking" in the alley behind the condo. We rented a space in a neighbors garage (set up thru owner) a few doors down. So happy we did that. A very fun trip overall.

Also to Barbecue during the day and light up the fire pit and make s’mores at night or just snuggle with the warmth of the fire pit as the nights gets chilly. Less that 4 minutes to walk to Belmont Park where lots of food and things for kids to ride and play games at. Also to shop the local places there. The Condo itself has enough space for 7 of us. I know it says for 10 but I think 12 even can fits with still enough space inside. The only thing I would recommend is bringing a folding table and putting it against the wall next to the heater to give you more counter space for snacks and whatever you bring. I would definitely stay there again but with more added days. The 4 days 3 nights was not enough. The only thing this property has going for it is location. This property is unsafe and the owner is definitely taking advantage of and price gouging guests as if it was a premium property. We vacation every year in SD and I have never been so disappointed. This home was not safe or equipped for the 8 person capacity it claims to accommodate. For starters there is no way someone can cook for a family when the kitchen does not have proper utensils. I expected a little more than a pot and couple fry pans. On top of the kitchen, the broken blinds, the screen door was broken the whole trip, owner said he fixed it until you opened it once and then it was broken. Safety is a bigger concern, the steps into the house were not secured and we had someone fall as the steps slid out from under them. Also the patio area, stone wall is not secure. While enjoying a fire one night my son fell off the wall backwards scraping his back and hitting his head on the boardwalk when one of the stone fell off. Worst of all when this was brought up to the owner we never received a response or acknowledgment that his property had issues. I guess he got his money and didn’t really care. You should be ashamed of yourself.

We 'people watched' on the boardwalk, played at the beach (kids loved it), and walked to Belmont Park (literally less than 5 mins walk) everyday. We were able to wash and dry our clothes, the laundry was convenient. It was so relaxing to enjoy the sunset everynight with a drink and popcorn. Our host was very nice and easy to get a hold of for any questions I had before and during our stay. We will definitely come back in the future. Thank you!! 🙏

Beautiful location right in the mission beach boardwalk. Condo had everything we needed to have a relaxing and fun weekend away.
