The home was just that, a home... away from home of course. Amazing views, great location and all around amazing.

We loved this house. The big windows and natural lighting were great. We spent most of our time upstairs looking out to the ocean. It was very nice, modern, and spacious. It was close to the beach and many restaurants/shops. We would stay here again.

Please please please add some written instructions on the check-in page on how to get the front door open. THE door lock is very UN-user friendly. We struggled for half an hour trying to figure it out. We finally called the number and it took another 15 minutes just to get to the point. They finally gave us the code to the lockbox key, which was also hard to open. we finally got in the house, a maintenance person did show up after a while and tried to show us how to use the Entry lock number, she was very dismissive and a little condescending and did not listen to our questions. I consider myself to be a very mechanical and logical person so I can’t imagine how some other people could deal with this unless they had experience with this style of lock. A little how to instructions on the check-in page would go along way. After the third day, we finally Felt like we had figured out how to Lock and unlock the finicky front door lock. Other than that, the house was very nice and in a good location. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes and small appliances. The beds were comfortable and clean. The upstairs sitting room has a good view of Nye Beach

Such a cute home right by the beach - was so nice to watch the sunset in the loft upstairs and the beds were comfy and having two full baths was great! Being right at the beach was such a wonderful experience! Beautiful views ✨

Wonderful location right at Nye Beach! Cottage is right down with all the restaurants and shops, and also right at the Nye Beach access area, so easily walkable. Plenty of space for our family to each have rooms, and we loved to look out the large window on the second floor facing the ocean. Got some great sunset views! With the location so close to the beach we could walk back and forth multiple times a day to enjoy the walking and near bye tide pools. Finally, the level 2 EVSE made it great for us to take our EV with us. Great extended vacation and will definitely go back in the future!

This house was the perfect location with the ability to walk to shops/coffee shops and the beach. The parking is tricky if you have a bigger vehicle, but it was nice not to have to find a spot on the street. The bedrooms and kitchen were spacious. There were great views of the ocean, especially from the second floor.!

The loation is awesome, the views are great. This was a very nice well priced VRBO, we really enjoyed our stay. It is a nice short walk to Nye Beach, and also the the Nye Beach area. The little Coffee Shops and Bakeries nearby are outstanding. Our stay was fantastic.

Loved this beach house for our winter family getaway! It has stunning ocean views from the cozy second-floor lounge and from each bedroom. The open kitchen was great for making meals and visiting with each other. Although the kitchen was well-stocked, we could have used a few more baking tools for what we made. Perfectly located just off the beach, the house is near the charming Nye Beach shops and restaurants. Highly recommended and we are already planning our return!

This property was great! It was in a great location and perfect for what we needed. We had a wonderful couple of days in Newport and hope to make it back to visit again soon.

Second time here in two years and we will likely be back again! You can’t beat the location—the close proximity to the beach and nearby restaurants, coffee shop, bakery, and other fun shops.

Lovely home with beautiful ocean views.

The house was stocked with everything one could think of, including folding beach chairs and shovel/buckets for the kids. The views from downstairs and upstairs were stunning. And everything was VERY clean. A wonderful experience for my nephew and family who were here from Berlin (Germany, that is).

Celebrating family, Memorial Day and anniversary of Dad’s death.

The cottage was clean and very modern. The location was in Nye Beach and easy access to businesses and the beach. The weather was cool when we were there but the upstairs was a bit stuffy. The house was situated near a bar they often had loud discussions and music to all hours of the night. We were not there for a Friday or Saturday night so no telling how loud it will be.

Great location in the heart of Nye Beach. Ocean views were delightful. Parking was a bit tight. House was well stocked with kitchen supplies. Had a cute back deck to sit on as well. Beautiful windows with great views .

If you love views of the ocean, amazing local businesses and a quiet stay? Sea Mist Cottage is for you. I stayed with my Father and Brother and everyone enjoyed the home, amenities, little touches of comfort and amazing views. If you like supporting local small local businesses there’s no better place than Nye Beach. We bought souvenirs at gift shops, are great meals all within walking distance. My Father requires assistance and was able to stay in the lower floor bedroom. Everything was perfect!

nice house great location

Such a great location for walking the beach and finding restaurants. The house is nicely decorated and had everything we could possibly need, including lots of TV's! Love this place.

Wifi and TVs did not work. Supposed local contact # did not work. 4 or 5 calls to Vacasa and multiple texts later, we got assurances someone would come to assist... but problem never got fixed. Subsequent complaints were met with gas-lighting and denial. I get the internet isnt a utility like running water, and it was actually pretty nice to be offline. But its not what we signed up for and poor customer service, esp. when it involves dishonesty, feels really bad. Extra star for nice cooking equipment.

The location was super for beach access and provides a nice view. A quick walk and you have miles of Nye beach. Wonderful! The location also is near a couple of bars. One in particular can be loud. The other reviewers' comments are correct: it may disturb your sleep a bit. And not just on weekends. The kitchen is very nice but we did need to provide some items ourselves. If you plan to cook a lot, just keep this in mind. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we are glad we did.

This home is a great get away. The kitchen is well stocked and was a pleasure to cook in. Picture windows on the main level helped brighten the first floor even on a cloudy coast weekend. But the sitting area on the second floor is the true gem of the home. The large windows have a view of the beach and ocean on one side and Nye beach pedestrian traffic on the other. Such a great place to storm watch, bask in the sun, and read the day away. Once parked, we chose to walk more than drive. Like other reviews, we did hear noise from the SandBar on Saturday night, but the rest of the nights were quiet. All in all, it is a perfect coastal get away for our family. I would definitely stay there again.

Great space and location for a girls trip!

The house has not be maintained for a vacation home. limited supplies and not kept well. loud on weekends with younger crowds screaming loud. There was a lot of loud noise in the evenings.

The house was spotless, and wow what a view! Close to good shops and good coffee! Loved it! Will rent again!
