The owner’s stayed in touch during our stay which I do appreciate. There were a couple things that made me rate the property the way I did. First, roaches! House needs an exterminator visit. There were a bunch of tires stacked up in the back yard, just made the place look bad. Lastly, even though we didn’t have any issues, this section of Decatur, is not the best.

We needed a place to stay for the weekend on our travels, and we found this great home! It has been beautifully renovated with a modern touch. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the coffee station in the kitchen was a nice touch. We also enjoyed playing games in the family room, and there are many nearby restaurants (we particularly enjoyed The Hard Dock on the Tennessee River!). Sweet stay!

Me and a few of my friends stayed here for a wedding over the weekend and had the best time!
Communication with the host was perfect and when we arrived to the house it was very clean and put together.
My only complaint throughout my stay was that the house has an odd smell to it like it had been smoked in or pets had lived there prior but the host had multiple candles out that helped.

Wanted to play at the two northern Alabama RTJ courses and this little home was in between the two so it was easier to get to them from one place instead of packing up and moving each night. Perfect for the three of us.

Home was just as described. Host Marie was very pleasant and responded promptly to any questions. I highly recommend this property. The town as well was very nice. Lots of shopping and dining choices all within 5-10 minute drive.

We enjoyed a few days for fall break and had a relaxing time. The house was very clean and comfortable. We will certainly seek out this property again!

The home is in an older neighborhood, but everyone was friendly and relatively quiet. It's conveniently located with easy access to shopping and restaurants. The home had everything we needed for our stay and we had no issues. The owner was great! They checked in with us from time to time and were very quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again and we are happy to recommend this home to anyone!

Mallard Point's golf course, park, archery range, baseball fields, tennis courts, and water park are a very close. Many restaurants and stores were within a 10 minute drive.
The home's interior design and accommodations were perfect for our trip. We noticed the owners are making improvements on the home. We were surprised to find modern kitchen appliances, clothes washer / dryer, laundry pods, dish soap, dish washer pods, cleaning sponges, shower gel, shampoo, conditioners, trash bags, utensils, cookware, nice towels, and we could go on and on.
We even enjoyed a few games of Foosball during our stay.
