My wife and I spent a week in the DR (Las Terrenas/Playa Coson) in Aug 2017. After booking with Lissette, she was in constant contact both prior to and thru the entirety of our visit. Prior to our arrival in the DR, Lissette arranged for transportation to and from the airport in SD, sent us information on restaurants and various excursions, and timely answered all email communications. Upon arrival in SD (and even after our flight was several hours delayed), our driver was waiting for us and quickly wisked us off to Las Terrenas. He was extremely accommodating and stopped to allow us to take photos along the way and took us directly to the grocery store to do some initial shopping before we even arrived at the condo. Upon arrival in Coson Bay, we were blown away by the simplicity and beauty of the area and the open air entry. Roberto was awaiting our arrival and helped us with our bags and groceries to the condo. The condo itself was exactly as pictured. It was extremely comfortable. Although just my wife and I, the condo has a 2nd bedroom w/ 2 double size beds and full bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with just about everything you could possibly imagine, from plates to cutlery to glasses/cups and cooking supplies of all kinds. Similarly, the condo is stocked with lots of towels and has a washer/dryer -- a huge bonus! And,the beds were extremely comfortable and the A/C worked flawlessly. As for the location/beauty, it is unsurpassed. When we walked out to the beach the first evening to check out the grounds, my wife was so overwhelmed she cried, even though we have traveled to Hawaii nearly 10 times and been to other tropical locations. The pool is great, the open air restaurant/bar are very charming and the food/drinks are great, the music at the pool/beach is mello and not too loud, the staff are very helpful/warm (even though I spoke no Spanish and my wife very little). The vibe is super chill, quiet and not crowded. But the best part, of course, is the unmatched beauty of the beaches. Amazing sunsets every night, went on excursions to explore other nearly beaches and Los Haitises, and loved exploring the downtown area in Las Terrenas by day/night. The only bummer is the condo isn't walking distance to town and taxis are expensive. But they are well worth it--our driver Paul always arrived promptly, spoke English, and took us grocery shopping for no extra charge. Ive the housekeeper was also amazing!! Great spot for families too

Um ambiente incrível, luxuoso e muito aconchegante em frente à praia. Fomos muito bem recepcionados e atendidos por todo o staff desde o princípio. O apartamento é muito agradável e totalmente equipado, oferecendo conforto total para nossa estadia. Ambiente limpo e sempre muito bem cuidado pela camareira. As áreas de lazer são excelentes e em ótimo estado! Piscina com vista MARAVILHOSA para o mar! O bar/restaurante da piscina também ofereceu-nos deliciosos drinks e um café da manhã perfeito. Certamente recomendo o local para aqueles que pretendem fazer uma viagem a esse paraíso!!!

We feel extremely fortunate to have found this jewel; this residence apartment was lacking nothing. I think we arrived during a transition in housekeepers; though the name of the housekeeper may have changed, the service provided was excellent. There were no surprises. The photos of the site do not really transfer the serenity and tranquillity. The one word description would be Fantastic Dream. That's two words, I am aware, emphasizing that there is no single word description that I can think of that would be sufficient. This place was full of amenities in the kitchen, for those of you that enjoy cooking, I foresee no problems. The two bedrooms were great and spacious. Sufficient closet space for clothing and storage of luggage. The master bedroom was equipped with locking closets for those with security concerns. I spent two weeks in the Dominican Republic, visiting multiple areas and friends, my wife and I, in conjunction with our traveling compadres travelled with quite a bit of luggage. Coson Bay, is indeed a hidden jewel, with Ocean views, Ocean front, Private Beach, sun canopys, groves of palms, beautiful clean pools and wonderful accommodating service. The local village had a large supermarket, bancos for currency conversion and a small shopping area that afforded me the opportunity to purchase additional SD cards for my cameras. Though, I thought I brought along an sufficient amount, the picturesque views afforded too many opportunities to capture great memories. The Colon Bay property is very secure, I saw only people from adjoining areas walking the secluded picturesque beach and gorgeous horizon of the Atlantic. A Romantic opportunity every night and sunrise. The Resturant within the resort is average but good. The service by the staff of Colon Bay was outstanding. We loved this place enough to make an annual visit and to introduce this jewel to additional friends and family. The owner, Lissette was a real pleasure, contacting us in advance to determine our anticipated time of arrival and any immediate or pending needs she could assist with or provide. We were met by the housekeeper Ivernese (sic) who accompanied us to the supermarket to set up our brief stay. No matter how well one plans, there never is a sufficient amount of time. Our trip was a week too short! I think, had we had another week, it too, would have been too short! Thank you Lissette and Franklin for allowing us to stay in your beautifully appointed vacation home.

My husband and I had a marvelous time at Lissette's home on Coson Bay just outside of Las Terrenas. The condo is large, bright, clean, well-equipped, and beautiful. The location is quiet and very scenic. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio each morning and evening and looking out over the beautiful grounds. There's even a slight view of the ocean from the patio. Lissette is a gracious host. She was responsive to each of our inquiries and provided us with invaluable information. Bella, the housekeeper kept things cleaned in the condo and cooked breakfast for us one morning. We asked for, and she prepared a fairly typical Dominican breakfast and it was delicious. I was under the impression that the breakfast preparation was included with the cost of the condo rental but there was a $10 charge for a full breakfast and, of course, we purchased the food. Still, the cost of the breakfast was a bargain compared to the cost of breakfast at the onsite restaurant. The food at the restaurant was good but lacked much variety and costs much more than food in town. The restaurant does offer pizza for a reasonable price. We were so fortunate that Bella's husband, Paulino, volunteered to provide taxi service for us. His price was reasonable and he was very flexible, so we enjoyed a number of meals in the town of Las Terrenas. The town has a good selection of restaurants offering a great variety of eats at extremely reasonable prices. I think Cayuca was my favorite. Twice we took the trek down the beach (west of Lissette's place) to Luis's and sat out and had beers. It was great exercise and a fun time. Lissette's condo is only steps from the beachfront. We spent many hours just relaxing by the ocean, watching the waves come in, and listening to music. The water is mild and we enjoyed the warmth when we entered the surf. The staff of Cosan Bay is friendly and accommodating and will do all in their power to ensure you enjoy your stay. I look forward to a return vacation in this area.

The apartment is exactly as described and shown in pictures! Our stay was amazing. The apartment is impeccably clean, equiped with everything you need (bath towels, beach towels, hair dryer, microwave, all essential ammenities!). Bella, the housekeeper is incredibly helpful, and also an excellent cook! She, as well as the entire staff in Coson Bay, were attentive to all our needs. The restaurant is amazing, so is the pool area, and beach. Look no further, this is the perfect spot for a weekend in Las Terrenas!

This apartment felt like home as soon as we walked in. the lightning in the living room makes the room look bigger and it has everything you can possibly need during the stay. Bella, the housekeeper was great and can cook anything you like and you can enjoy home cooked breakfast sitting on the small private terrace. loved it all would definitely recommend to go with a group as the apartment is big enough for a group of 6.

We had a terrific time in Lisette's apartment over the past week. The apartment is beautifully kept, thanks to their lovely housekeeper Bella, who can also cook a delicious breakfast and/or lunch for a small fee. The apartment has high end appliances should you want to cook while there. The community where the apartment is located is super relaxing - the beach is just gorgeous, relatively empty and seems to go on forever. The onsite restaurant is delicious, particularly the ceviche, fresh fish and brick oven pizzas. Lisette was both super responsive before we left for the DR, as well as during our stay and even after! The staff at Cosun Bay is also terrific - very kind, hard working and welcoming. We would absolutely return. Thank you Lisette, Bella and the staff at Cosun for a great vacation.

Many thanks to Lissette, Frank and Olga for a fabulous Christmas at Coson Bay. Everything was perfect, from the spotlessly clean and comfortable condo, to the helpful and patient resort staff, and the lovely Bella - housekeeper and cook supreme (Bella's homemade seafood ceviche is some of the best I have ever had! We had her make two batches and this was our daily delicious and light lunch!) Our plan was to go into town every night for dinner, but the food, service and ambiance at the Ocean Grill right on the resort was so delightful and convenient, that we ended up staying at the resort most evenings. The well stocked and modern kitchen was perfect for doing our own breakfasts, but Bella is also available to cook a yummy meal with some local specialties included. We made daily trips into town to get baguettes from the authentic French bakery (I can taste it right now - like being in Paris!), and to the well appointed and easy to navigate supermarket "Supermercado Linda" which also had a very good selection of imported wine. The beach was beautiful and perfect for long walks in either direction, and the pool and grounds were clean and impeccably maintained. The friendly staff very patient with our Spanish, helped us plan our snorkeling trip to the other end of the penninsula (don't bother going far afield for snorkeling which is just OK - but the boat ride was a real adventure and highlight of the trip!!). We loved the quiet, mellow family atmosphere of Coson Bay, and would highly recommend to anyone that likes beauty and serenity in paradise! We will be back! Lissette and Olga were the most helpful hosts and everything you could need was provided!

My girlfriend and I stayed here a weekend along with another couple. The apartment is beautifully decorated. Each one of the two bedrooms has a lot of space. The kitchen and the dinning room connect with a terrace where you can have your meals or read a book. The sofa in the living room can even be used as an extra bed, if needed. Bella did the breakfast both days and this was just great. The apartment complex has a great club beach with an amazing pool and direct access to the beach. If you are looking for a calm and great spot for disconnect yourself from everything and relax, this is it.

Quick disclaimer: I am a Dominican who lives abroad and visits the island a couple of times a year, always making a point to visit my favorite spot, Las Terrenas. I’ve had many wonderful stays in Las Terrenas (playa Bonita, Punta Ballena, Portillo, etc.), but having stayed at Coson Bay I think I’ve found THE best spot in all of las Terrenas. The apartment is located in a gated and well-guarded community. I know gated communities may come off as “stuffy”, but this is far from it. The grounds at Coson Bay are kept in pristine condition, and its staff and facilities are top notch. The apartment itself is exquisitely decorated and cozy, with all the mod cons you’d want when indoors. While the whole point of visiting las Terrenas is enjoying its fantastic beaches, it was great to have a clean and well-kept apartment to unwind after a long day at the beach, or to chill and relax if it happens to be raining outside. With regards to the beach, for years I’ve gone up and down the coast of the Samana peninsula, and this vast stretch of beach is my new favourite. The beach is perfect, soft sand with no rocks or sea debris to be found. Once you come out of the apartment and face the beach, you will quickly notice there’s miles more to explore to either side. You can have a great walk from one point to another, and I reckon it’s a great jog if that’s your thing. The town of las Terrenas proper is some 3 or 4 miles down the road, so you are not far from ‘Pueblo de los Pescadores” and its strip of restaurants and night life. It’s also very close to the other beaches of las Terrenas if you’d like to explore more…but really, Coson bay is all you’d ever need.

We spent 1 week at this wonderful appartement! And everything is absolutely great about it: location (steps from the beautiful beach), its well decorated interior (loved the lamp in the living room!), perfect terrasse for breakfasts, its really calm and peaceful. Housemaid Bella is great as well! She was keeping the place very clean and brought us fruits and even made us coffee! The owner Lissette was very helpful as well and guided us with organizing all the details about our stay there. Can write longer, but to sum it up- if you choose holidays in Dominican Republic, choose this place without any hesitation! The only minus is if you don't have a car, taxi prices are quite expensive, and quite complicated to go out in the closest village if you want to eat out for s change. Although the restaurant in the residence is great.

Desde que abres la puerta claramente se percibe tranquilidad, comodidad, buen gusto y extrema limpieza, factores que a mi criterio, son fundamentales a la hora de escoger un lugar para unas buenas vacaciones. Me gustó mucho que no tuviéramos que subir escaleras con maletas, ya que el apartamento esta ubicado en el primer piso. El lugar esta muy bien equipado, incluso hasta con secador, lo cual hace que tengas acceso a todo lo necesario para tu estadía. De otro lado, pero no menos importante, está el tema de las zonas comunes las cuales tienen lindos jardines, una piscina con vista al mar, y lo mejor: la playa, que es deliciosa. Fuimos con un grupo de amigos jóvenes y la verdad pasamos increíble. Muy cerca se pueden encontrar buenos restaurantes y buena rumba, sin olvidar que si vas en plan familiar y no quieres salir, tienes la opción de comer en el restaurante del edificio. No dudaría un segundo en quedarme nuevamente en el apartamento, de verdad es un lugar para desconectarse y disfrutar de las delicias de la vida.
