We were in town for my daughter’s wedding and needed a place close enough to the venue. We were so pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the location. It felt like we were miles away from nowhere. The cabin is absolutely beautiful with all the amenities we needed for our short stay. We would have loved to have stayed longer to explore the wooded area surrounding the cabin. We definitely recommend this place, especially if anyone is coming with a family for a wedding. We were about 20 minutes from our venue in Rockmart (“In The Woods”). Kudos to the host for making us feel at home:)

My daughter was married on 11/4 and this home proved to be the perfect rest and relaxation spot for part of our bridal party to enjoy. Convenient enough to town. But secluded enough to feel as though youre in the middle of a forest. We would definitely recommend this home.

We really enjoyed staying at this property while we were in town for a baseball tournament. The instructions the owner sent with directions and tips about the property were super helpful and accurate. We also appreciated the owner’s prompt response on our questions. If you like nature and a house with a lot of character, we would recommend this house for sure!

We had stayed at this house 4 years ago. The house needs a little tlc. Trees were cut down and yard was a mess. Tripped walking down the messed up walk way. Man came Monday to work in yard with a loud machine. We just left for the day. It really needs fans cleaned, windows cleaned, some minor repairs. It just wasn’t the same. No extra trash bags or toilet paper usually found in other rentals I’ve stayed in. Loved the secluded home and maybe after the yard is finished and some things are updated, it will be beautiful.

This is our 2nd stay at the Sanctuary. It is a perfect layout for our family retreat as the kids have their space with bedrooms downstairs in basement. The adults enjoy the fireside chats with fireplace in the living room. We all loved the outside fire pit area with pavers. Be sure to sign up to hike the neighboring Pettit Preserve too! Highly recommend this great cabin and Jeba is a very responsive host. We look forward to returning again soon!

This cabin was a hidden gem. Our family was in Dallas, GA because our children were competing in a Savage Race over the weekend & we wanted to find a place to stay that would be close to their race location. We all LOVED this place. With the bedrooms all on different floors, it gave us plenty of room to have our own space. With the living room, kitchen & porch close together, it provided a great area for us to be together when eating & watch TV. We loved playing pool together, grilling out & walking on trails behind the house. At night, we enjoyed our time around the fire pit. My son loved the hammock that was put up between the trees & took a long nap in it. The property manager was absolutely wonderful to work with & our kids are begging to go back for a longer vacation with our entire family. Thank you for making this so memorable! ❤️

Beautiful place in the woods. We loved the peacefulness and location of the properties. We would stay again.

The home was accurately described and fairly priced. We found it odd that there were no extra garbage bags or paper towels. When we stripped the beds, we were shocked and disappointed that there were no mattress protectors on the upstairs and downstairs queen beds. We thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace.

We had a group of 8 adults and this was a perfect home for us to stay in. It is beautiful and the location was perfect. Everyone had plenty of space and we had a great weekend with lots of fun and laughter. We would definitely stay here in the future!

We had 8 guests stay on our trip, 4 adults and 4 kids. We had a wonderful vacation at The Sanctuary! Everything was clean and comfortable! Jeba was such a wonderful host and was quick to answer with any questions or concerns while we were there. The 4 kids slept in the basement and loved having their own little space. And the adults did enjoy being able to relax in a little peace and quiet…lol We did have a few things that came up, but I let Jeba know after our trip (it didn’t affect our stay really) and he had them fixed ASAP, which I think is an amazing thing for a host. I will say that for those staying in the future to keep in mind that the basement is the coldest area of the house and the upper level bedroom is the warmest. So, if you are temperature sensitive when sleeping, choose based on that. I started in the upper level and ended up in the basement during the nights to sleep. The location is quiet and serene and we enjoyed our hike in the preserve. And the location was great for where we wanted to go. Not too far from Atlanta and far enough away from the hustle and bustle. We had so many things we wanted to do in the area that we just didn’t have time for. We hope to make it back to the area again some day and will definitely see if The Sanctuary is open on our dates.

Best property by far very clean awesome location

We chose this property because of the great reviews from previous owner’s listing. The new owner, Jeba is very responsive and checked to make sure everything was good at check in. The home is amazing! Perfect space for our family with the grandkids. We enjoyed hiking, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, playing pool, Wii and delicious food prepared in the well equipped kitchen. The living room with huge stone wood burning fireplace was great for chilly weather and warm conversation. Bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of space and privacy. We really enjoyed our retreat and look forward to returning soon!
