My husband and I loved our stay at Mermaid Crossing! I would definitely recommend it to others. The house is clean and comfortable, and nicely decorated (lots of blue, my favorite color). One of my priorities when I was doing a zillion hours of VRBO research for this trip (I love real estate in general and staying in a nice place is important to me) was a great pool. And this house has it! So beautiful and relaxing - just a perfect outside space and refreshing pool. Great neighborhood for morning walks with our small dog who travelled with us. Very much appreciated the pet-friendliness of this home. My husband had to work a lot while we were there and he was able to have a nice desk and workspace in one of the extra bedrooms. I liked how there were many different cozy areas inside and outside for reading, dining, chatting, visiting, working, etc. Plenty of room for togetherness and also space to be apart when needed. We left gorgeous Punta Gorda weather to return to rainy and bleak New England. Boo! Would return to Mermaid Crossing in a heartbeat! (Like right now!!) There were a few small things that could use a bit of attention or touching up, but those were very minor and it was a lovely home and excellent visit for us. Thank you! Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful home inside and out. There were lots of cozy places for all of us. The beds were very comfortable. The best part of the stay was the beautiful outdoor living area. The heated salt water pool was a treat! My grandson had the time of his life fishing off the dock. He caught 8 different kinds of fish. Mermaids were around every corner!

Everything was perfect! The house was well equipped, beautifully decorated with comfortable beds, plush towels and robes, and most importantly, a beautiful and comfortable outdoor area with a warm pool! We caught snook, mangrove snapper, and catfish from the dock, and had dolphins visit several days! All around a great place!

Loved all the amenities- bikes, beach chairs, fishing poles. It was a great experience and a beautiful house.

We loved the pool and the outdoor area with the TV. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Ran into some plumbing issues, but hopefully they get that taken care of soon. Owners stayed in touch. The neighborhood was really nice.

This house was perfect for our family’s vacation. It was beautifully decorated and very clean. It has everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the salt water pool, the sunny sitting area and the shaded swing and couch area. We ate most of our meals at a table beside the pool. A highlight was sitting near the channel watching the sun set as a dolphin swam by!!! The owner was very quick to respond whenever I had questions. We would love to stay at this house again.

Perfect set up for grandparents and a young family. We stayed in the master suite with the shower and a large dressing room/closet. The common areas separated the two other bedrooms and bath. Our son, daughter in law and 2 kids occupied that wing. Kids and adults loved the huge saltwater pool. We had a minor pluming problem and the owners had someone out that day. They stayed in contact with us throughout our stay. The towels are SPA quality and amazing!! The kitchen is well equipped with anything you’d need. Beautifully decorated. Homey and clean. Try PIZZA GOURDA & GiGis Ice cream while you’re there.

Great family stay - home is clean, cute, updated, & cozy. Easy walk or bike to the best activities. Home is well-stocked, owners are engaged and ready to help. Thanks for a great trip!
