Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying here! Had a group of 13 and everyone slept comfortably. Location is great. We used the golf cart to get to the beach but you could easily walk. Air conditioning had a hard time keeping up, especially the top floor, but that is to be expected in August. The backyard could have used a fresh pass from a leaf blower but nothing major. Please note the bannister on the outside staircase is very loose at the top. This needs to be repaired ASAP. The washing machine downstairs was very moldy and needs to be deep cleaned. We did not use that when we saw the mildew buildup. The water and ice dispenser in the door of the freezer were also moldy. I cleaned it as well as I could so we could use them. Overall, great spot and great layout.

We loved staying here, we came for a girls trip. All of the beds are king sized and ARE SO COMFORTABLE. So are the pillows. That is such a plus. Golf cart was awesome too. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect. Good location, well fit. Only complaints are landscaping(rear entry walkway and rear outside space) needs up keep. Fridge could be bigger for house size.

The golf cart was handy for trips to the beach and the location was quiet and close to amenities. The pool is not heated so we didn’t spend time in the back yard.The appliances need to be replaced. We had issues with the refrigerator and dishwasher not working properly. The management staff was responsive & friendly when we called but new appliances are needed. More garbage bags need to be available & it was disappointing that there was no recycling.We would stay here again.

Great living space for groups to gather and the kitchen table was just right for playing games. While the pool was small (didn’t impact our group) the outdoor facilities were inviting for group get togethers. A special thanks to the owners and management for quickly responding to some minor needs and questions.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We want to give this great reviews, but we had a cockroach infestation! We were greeted by a large cockroach on the kitchen door and as we moved through the house, more appeared. Maintenance came out and sprayed. We had a leaky fridge that we needed to mop up water, then we found one of the washing machines (needed to wash to towels we’d used to mop up water) was broken. Maintenance was friendly and attended to those items, as well. The beds were comfy but it’s hard to sleep with lights on to deter cockroaches. This was an attempted 50th bday party for myself and 4 friends but we really didn’t get to relax or do what we’d planned as we were constantly seeing roaches. That included a giant one in my toilet on departure day. Golf cart was great. Beach supplies great. Location pretty good too! Kitchen was well-equipped but we needed to clean everything before we used it as roaches were on cupboards too. We were compensated only with an extended (2 hour) check out that we needed for shaking all our stuff out to ensure no bugs went home with us. We were pretty negatively impacted by the bugs. We asked next door and they were not experiencing the same problems. One of my friends owns properties in Florida and she also does not experience this level of infestation. For as much as we spent, we were sorely disappointed.

It was a wonderful beach house with great ac and super comfy beds so close to the beautiful white sand beach! Super close to tons of things to do in and around Destin, just make sure to hit the child security button when opening the back door!
