We love the views that this lodge affords, we were enthralled by the kestrels feeding their young in what appeared to be four separate nests, all visible from our outside area, everything in the lodge is of a high standard and feels special, we cooked a couple of meals and found everything we needed including kitchen scales. The beds are very comfortable and we slept well.

Friendliness of the Staff was fantastic .
Nothing was to much trouble for them.
Would recommend The Royal Lodge to our family & friends.

We had a lovely time at the lodge, location was great for exploring & the hit tub was a god send to relax in after a day out

We've stayed before (Kingfisher) and once again were impressed by the park, the cleanliness of the lodge the hot tub and the general facilities. We were spoilt by Kingfisher as its an amazing lodge. We ended up leaving a night earlier (on the Sunday night instead of the Monday morning) as the lodge was boiling hot and we couldn't figure out why - we kept turning the thermostat down but i think the heating is stuck on in the lodge and we were knackered by the Sunday evening.

Staff were very friendly helpful and made the hole experience from booking to check in and leaving hassle free park was well set out lodge's were amazing well set up with everything you need while staying at hollicars set up in an amazing surroundings perfect for just relaxing and a little rnr

We are regular visitors to Hollicarrs Park Estate. Staying in a few log cabins previously, we were again speechless at how beautiful the cabin was presented. The Rushes has been beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, attention to detail, with everything you need for a wonderful stay . Extremely quiet, overlooking the woods and a fabulous hot tub to enjoy, which is checked twice a day by two very friendly , great chaps . We would definitely stay in The Rushes again, hopefully soon…

The Rushes lodge was beautifully decorated and felt so cosy. The facilities was everything we needed and there was milk and even a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us on arrival. We love the fact the hotubs are cleaned everyday and they are emptied and cleaned once you leave for the next people.
The walks around there are beautiful and it’s just so peaceful and you can even play tennis or hire out bikes from reception. The staff are super friendly.

The whole experience was amazing, we celebrated my daughters 21st birthday. The rushes lodge was totally out of this world, we ordered afternoon tea to the lodge on the day we arrived and that again was totally amazing ……

Beautiful clean, spacious lodge, peaceful location in Hollicars Forest. Great for forest walks, and close to enough to enjoy York too. Great relaxing mini break.

It's the second time visiting The Rushes, we love it. You dont want for anything and everything is pure style. The area is beautiful and just what yoy need to get away from a busy life.

The lodge felt really cosy and I had a nice cottage vibe to it. Very nicely decorated for Christmas.

The lodge surpassed all expectations, beautiful interior, decor and little touches. Everything was immaculately clean and the staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us.
Its a must visit, highly recommend.

We loved our stay. The lodge was so stylish and cosy and the hot tub was amazing. A thoroughly peaceful and relaxing break.
Such friendly and helpful reception staff who helped us with everything from hiring bikes to suggesting places to eat in the area.
