Location was nice; on the bay, not ocean front. Could see ocean from front deck, but could not hear it. Had to cross the street to get to the ocean, which was difficult for at least 1 of our party. Was walkable to the bay for nice sunrise view, but no beach area to hang out on at the bay (nearby houses did seem to have a beach area on the bay). Layout of house was good for our 5 adults.

Maintenance sorely needed. Lots of rusting (condition of the fuse box was a little alarming; was exposed to the air and very, very rusty; house very rusty in places and in need a of good scraping and paint job). Floats and other things were just strewn about with no rhyme of reason. We did not use them. Condition of wrap around deck was very, very rough in places and somewhat dangerous (splintering and nails popped up). Furniture on the inside was stained and worn. Swivel chairs were very scary and we finally had to tell one person not to use them because he fell from them a couple of times getting in and out. Some nail holes around condo where pictures had been removed? Red Awning Company was poor and somewhat of a pain to work with. Only available via email or chat on their website; they would send us an email about the pet fee daily and I would respond right away. They kept saying they didn't get the response. Finally resolved, AFTER we returned home. Finally, kind of sticks in our craw that you pay a pretty high cleaning fee, and yet, they want you to run the dishwasher, start a load of towels and remove all trash.....
