2 families of 4 stayed for 4 nights. Plenty of room for everyone. Lots of amenities that made the stay fun: hot tub, game room, outdoor fireplace and pizza oven, etc. Very close to Big Boulder and Jack Frost. Overall we loved the house and highly recommend it. We would definitely return. 2 things that could use improvement: 1) Rubber mats around the hot tub and between the hot tub and the door to the laundry area. The dripping water from the bathing suits quickly froze on the concrete and was very slippery. My one son slipped and hurt his wrist. 2) The clothes dryer would take a very long time to dry clothes and/or towels. It appears to be a newer appliance, so I'm not sure why that is.

Please note that I am writing this review approximately 8 months after our stay. Overall, the house was very nice, spacious, and conveniently located. The neighborhood is pleasant, and the golf carts were very useful and fun. The check-in, however, was very rough. I will cite some messages sent to the property manager (who was as helpful as possible) to provide examples. “ FYI—opened the freezer, which was apparently never closed, and ice (more like snow) came out onto the floor. Still coming out.” “ We are cleaning it up so it doesn’t damage the flooring. Just thought you’d like to know.” “ Also…just found that the dishwasher was never run, full of unwashed items, and it STINKS. Trying to clean that mess as well, as it’s quite disgusting.” “ However, broken dresser drawer in rear bedroom.” “FYI, another broken drawer, in laundry area.” We also reported that many of the light bulbs were missing from the ceiling fixtures in the kitchen/living area and it was rather dark. The bulbs were replaced in a day or two. So, check in was unpleasant.

This home is beautiful, high ceilings, many rooms, was perfect for our families- which is 2 families along with grandparents. Had everything we needed including towels and sheets . Lots of kitchen supplies. It was enjoyable for adults and kids alike. We were lucky enough to use the golf cart due to the good weather. Alex, the property manager was very responsive to questions. We would love to stay again.

The house had some good and bad points: Bad: 1. No functioning fireplace 2. Very spotty internet 3. Poor functioning dryer 4.Master bed sinks to the middle 5.Needs at least one more bathroom for the number of people it can sleep 6. Dark wall color and limited lighting gives it a somber feel Good: 1. Excellent kitchen 2. Good hot tub 3. Good golf cart 4. Good fire pit 5. Good arcade room

The house was perfect for our group - plenty of space for privacy, but also great gathering areas both inside and outside. Location was great - walkable to the park, the lake, the Split Rock, even with two small kids. And the hot tub and fire pit came in handy when the weather was a bit cooler than we expected.

Plenty of room for everyone. Young grandchildren were hoping for a pool on the property. But aside from that little disappointment, they loved bunk beds, Pizza oven, arcade games in the bedroom and the hot tub. And the golf cart!

Everything was good and the house thanks for everything

Boulder Lodge is a gorgeous property with tons of amenities. It comfortably sleeps just over 10, but can be extended reasonably up to over 15. The house is situated in a convenient spot close to stores for hunkering down or restaurants and bars for going out. Checking in and out were pretty easy and the property managers were reachable at every step of our stay. Highly recommended.
