The house was exactly as represented. We had our daughter and a friend with us. Being teenagers they wanted to walk to town. It was a bit far, but not too crazy. We enjoyed the firepit, dart board and pool table! There is a convenience store just around the corner that supplied smores ingredients. The guy working there is super friendly! You do need to create or bring your own sticks for roasting. Beds were comfortable and the place was extremely clean and nice!

This house was in a great location. Home was clean and decorated to the nines. The owner was easy to work with and check in check out was too. Loved our getaway and highly recommend this home!

This property was perfect to take my parents and my dogs for a hill country weekend. I loved that the yard was fenced, allowing my dogs to not have to be leashed. The house is well appointed for relaxing nights in but also close to town for evenings out. Enchanted Rock is also a short, easy drive away.

Spacious, cute, interactive. We were able to spend the holidays here as a family and had an excellent stay. The house was tidy, comfortable and came with activities. Located close to downtown FBG and not far from Enchanted Rock- we had an excellent time

It was a perfect stay and the living room and backyard are perfect for a family weekend. Bonus is you can bring your pets too!

Visited with friends and enjoyed this house so much! It was clean and comfortable; everything as expected or better! The backyard fire pit and pool table were great for enjoying time with friends. Location was close to town and very convenient in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Communications with he host was especially good, she replied promptly to any questions or issues we had and made sure we were taken care of.

My friends and I LOVED our stay at the Hoppy Haus! It's even cuter than the pictures, if you can imagine that! We loved the spacious rooms and the connectiveness of it all. Very clean and neat.

It's about a 20 minute stroll to Caliche Coffee on Main through the neighborhood - the busy street it corners does not have sidewalks - and we took a short drive to wander Marketplatz shops and eateries later that morning. The house floor plan meanders and provides several areas to chill, which we enjoyed while housebound during baby naps. The reviews mentioned a privacy issue with the barn door entrances to the shared bathroom, but it was fine for our group because we put the parents in one of the bedrooms and the 9 month old in the other. Another bedroom with a private bath just a few steps down the hall was perfect for grandmother. The neighborhood was quiet. The house was clean and cute. The host left us a bottle of local wine and a house notebook. It really was just perfect for us.

The Hoppy House was a great "second" home for our family visit to Fredericksburg. The whole family immediately were drawn to the garage based pool table and dart board as soon as we checked in. It's a great asset for passing the time there. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. It made for easy breakfast prep and reheating leftovers, but you could certainly make all of your own food in the kitchen. The largest bedroom is the one with the barn doors. The privacy is minimal in regards to light and sound and were a little inconvenient compared to traditional doors; especially since it attaches to a shared bathroom. Also, while this bedroom is the largest and feels like the master bedroom, it has one of the queen sized beds, not the king. Heather is a great host! She responded quickly to our questions and helped make the property a great stay for us.
