Pineapple house was great! Would book this house again when I'm back down that way. Communication with property manager was great got all my information before I got there. Had a blast going fishing while I was there.

We had a few bumps to start, but quickly enjoyed the fabulous fenced in property with our kids and dogs in tow. Heck of a place to stay!

Enjoy ship watching and bird watch on the front porch. Cant wait for this place to get a little touch on the porch and stairs but the place is clean and the owner was easy to get a hold of

This place is nestled on the east end of the peninsula. It is exceptionally quiet there, which is perfect for a get-away from a busy urban life and if you like to fish, you are minutes away from a jetty with a bait camp. A very good bargain!

Everything you need and nothing you don't. The place was nice, quiet and clean. It's surrounded on a couple sides by uncleared lots. I really liked that added seclusion and the view across the wild greenery. My little dog LOVED the fenced yard and especially trotting up and down the stairs next to the banana trees. We really enjoyed the less busy beach about 4 miles up the road off Boat Rd. The owner was also helpful and friendly- he called me immediately when I sent a message inquiring about food delivery. (Bring your own, or plan to go out!) This was a business planning trip for me- next time I'll bring my husband and enjoy the place in a more leisurely way!

House was very clean, updated and comfortable. Plenty of dishes, cooking pots/pans & utensils, toaster, coffee pot (it’s kuerig & regular brew type). Bed was comfy. Porch was great to sit and enjoy the
breeze. Property owner even provided beach towels, which was awesome as we forgot ours.
Perfect home away from home, just minutes from the beach. Exterior of the house is being repainted and we can’t wait to come back and see it all finished!

Very pleasant house to stay in. Love coming back from the beach and relaxing in comfortable furniture with some tv, etc. Great location with a 5 min drive to the beach and 10 min drive to all the food.
There were a few things around the house that need some attention. Some broken plumbing and clogged shower. Toilet needs to be reset and is leaking from the bottom. We found a couple wet dirty towels from the people that were there before and it seems the cleaning people could have used a little more time.
Overall, though, it was a very nice house and any issues we found were barely an inconvenience.
I would definitely stay here again!

This was our first time to stay in here. The house was clean and the owner was very responsive when we had any questions. I loved the fenced yard and sitting on the deck to enjoy the breeze. The area was quiet and there was a small beach and jetty that I could walk to.

My boyfriend and I had a free weekend out of our busy schedules and wanted a super stress-free weekend. The communication with the property manager was great. They were able to answer our questions, even before we needed to ask them. The property was clean and well-stocked with everything we needed to cook. Plenty of clean towels for bath and beach use. We didn't need them, but there was an assortment of children's toys. We will definitely consider staying there again.

This was the first vacation for I and my fur baby. It was peaceful, amazing and the best place for a dog to run free. I got to focus on my writing while my dog got to run around until it was time for lunch. I am definitely coming back sametime next year!

Took my husband for his birthday. We had a nice four day getaway. The fenced yard gave us privacy as well as plenty of room for are two fur babies. The home is in a nice relaxing neighborhood and the beach was just a short drive away.

Beach House Bliss
Love staying at the Pineapple Beach House. It is in the perfect location. Close to the ferry, fishing and the beach. I love that it is next to a park and a bird sanctuary. It was SO peaceful and relaxing. Has a very home-away-from-home feeling.

Family Weekend Fun
The Pineapple House was the perfect property for the family and the dogs. I loved the fenced in property that allowed the dogs to run and play, but also gave me the peace of mind they were safe. The property was the perfect size for a family of 4 and had everything we needed. It was close to fishing, the beach & the ferry to go to Galveston. just make sure you give yourself plenty of time (more than an hour) if you have to be somewhere on the island at a specific time. We loved our stay and will be back.

Adorable house 🍍
🍍🍍🍍🍍Super helpful host!!! When I got there I noticed the air wasn’t cooling right and with in mins he had someone fixing the issue and didn’t have any issues after. They even recommended different locations to fish and swim even local restaurants to try. The location of this adorable house is the best 2 miles from the beach and less than a mile to the jetty’s to fish!!! It felt like home loved the fenced in area for pets. Super comfortable home for a weekend getaway! We made unforgettable memories playing board games and watching movies. I definitely would stay here again! 🍍🍍🍍🍍
