This property was a wonderful place to stay for a fun girls weekend. It is centrally located and Paul was a gravious host. The house has everything you need including a nice bottle of wine and chocolate muffins. We would definitely stay here again

Paul came to get us from the train station. He gave us a tour of the house. Everything looked nice. He had chocolate muffins and Stone Hill wine for us. Appreciated the rides to and from station. He was a great host. If we needed anything all we had to do was contact him. I mentioned we forgot to buy some root beer. He was so nice to get us some to take back. Enjoyed our girls trip to Hermann.

A very nice renovated 1912 home

We had a wonderful stay at the Songbird House. Paul & Heidi were top notch hosts and even picked us up at the Amtrak Station. Paul gave us a thorough tour of the house and made sure we were comfortable. This house is beautiful and nicely appointed. Plenty of space to relax, a large kitchen and the bedrooms were also nice and roomy. The house is located close to downtown and all the shops and restaurants. We walked around both Saturday and Sunday and found it very easy to find our way. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning again some day. Thank you very much for letting us stay in your lovely home!

We had a fantastic girls weekend in Hermann, and absolutely loved our stay. The house was beautiful, clean and so many other wonderful details! You can tell this property has a rich history and the owners have done a wonderful job setting it up. Most importantly, the beds were all so comfy!!! Location Location Location!! We were within walking distance to some great restaurants and bars which was perfect for the nightlife. We called the trolley to winery hop and they picked us up and dropped us off right at the house which was an unexpected surprise. We enjoyed pretending like we were in college again and had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough nice things about this home and our host Paul. The home was lovely, had everything we needed, and was just a short walk to Hermann's shops and restaurants. Paul went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be, and we will forever be spoiled for all future hosts!

Paul and Heidi are amazing hosts! The house is beautiful and in the perfect location (close to everything). Paul and Heidi left huge delicious muffins for us for breakfast as well as a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. They actually stopped by when we arrived to ensure everything was perfect for our stay. Oh and we accidentally left a few items at the house and not only did they return the items to us, they actually drove an hour to our house and dropped the items off personally! Thank you so much Paul and Heidi for everything! You are awesome!

My girlfriends and I (friends since high school) enjoyed a girls weekend in Hermann for Octoberfest. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Hermann despite the cloudy, drizzly weather. The owner takes pride in the renovations he’s made to the property and will be continuing to improve the property. He is very accommodating to his guests and available to answer any questions or concerns. Paul (& Heidi) are the best!! Thanks for making our stay memorable!

This was a very clean place and had an awesome location. Check in was very easy and simple. the property manager was very easy to talk to and very accommodating. we had a small simple issue at 9:00 P.M. on Thursday night and within 10 minutes he was at the property and the issue was taken care of immediately. At this location anything that we wanted to do, in town, was within easy walking distance. If we didn't want to walk, we would call the trolly, and they would pick us up at the house. I would definitely recommend this place and if we make the trip again next year, we will be booking this place again.

The place was walking distance to all things, it was clean, comfortable and the hosts kept us informed before and during our stay. All you could want in a VRBO and extra touches throughout the stay!

Paul is an amazing and very accommodating host!!! He is very quick to respond to questions and ensures you have everything you need for your stay! The house is beautiful and very clean! The kitchen was perfectly stocked with all utensils, plates, glasses and cookware needed. There were plenty of bath towels, wash cloths and even shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. We travel often and have stayed in many places. We truly enjoyed all this place and these hosts had to offer. Thank you so much for your hospitality - we will definitely be back to The Songbird Haus!!!!!

This house is the cutest and has great historical charm. Our hosts were wonderful. They met us at the house when we checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. They offered to come back at check out time to carry our bags downstairs for us. The wine and muffins they provided were delicious. We had a great stay and definitely recommend to anyone!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at Songbird Haus - a quaint historic home in a quiet neighborhood but easy walking distance to dining, shopping and nightlife in Hermann, MO. The home was spacious enough for 4 people with large rooms. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything we might need. The decor was eclectic, warm and inviting. Our host Paul communicated well, quickly responding to questions we had and gave us recommendations for activities in Hermann. I would recommend this host and Songbird Haus - will stay here again when visiting Hermann.

We took our kids to Hermann for a long weekend before summer starts. We had a wonderful time exploring the town as well as the wineries and distilleries. We loved how it was super easy to walk from our house to downtown and felt very safe in doing so. Paul and Heidi are terrific hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We would stay here again without hesitation.

My sister, mother and I took the train from KC to Hermann for the weekend. Owner, Paul, was so helpful in getting us ready to go and providing a safe, wonderful place for us to stay and create some amazing memories for my family. 5 star service!
