Beatrice was a friendly host and fixed an issue with the portable air conditioner quickly. The studio is in a quiet location and a short 15-20 walk from town. The driveway is pretty narrow if you want to park off road, so best for small cars only. I think it could get quite warm inside if booking a summer stay. There isn't much dog friendly accommodation in Gloucester, so this was a good find.

Beatrice’s property is in a lovely quiet location. Her garden is glorious and we were able to enjoy its beauty. The check-in process was easy as Beatrice welcomed us on arrival. The room was cozy and well equipped. A perfect location to stay if you are enjoying the Barrington Tops area.

Cosy and comfortable room with lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy. Beatrice was a very welcoming and friendly host, but also respected privacy.

The studio room was small, although adequate. The bed was comfortable, crockery and cutlery were supplied, as well as some breakfast items. There was a microwave, toaster and kettle. The cottage was a short driving distance into town and both hotels in town had good meals. There were also several good cafes as well as an IGA and Woolworths. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and Gloucester is a lovely town. The only thing wrong was the internet wasn’t working throughout our stay

My friend and I spent a week at the property to reset and escape from life for a little while. Rose Cottage was absolutely perfect in everyway and Gloucester is just wonderful.

The room was very quaint, warm and inviting, the cottage garden was in full bloom, so pretty. The Hostess was very accommodating, very pleasant we had the opportunity to meet her in person.

Very clean, cosy lovely place to stay. Possibly the best place we have stayed in. Host was great. Highly recommend it as a great place to stay.

Had a weekend getaway in Gloucester staying in Rose Cottage. A very cosy cottage situate in pretty surroundings. The dog park across the road was a bonus for our active dog Tilley. We loved the peace and quiet of the area. Beatrice was a thoughtful host and we appreciated her hints and tips as to what’s going on in Gloucester. Highly recommend a stay at Rose Cottage.

Beatrice's property is a cosy little studio that is perfect for a stay for a night or two. It is immaculately clean and well-equipped with what you need. It is not really walking distance from town, but only a short drive. There is a lounge and tv, but no table of any kind so if you like to spread out, it is fairly close confines. The garden surrounding the house is lovely. We had beautiful weather so enjoyed sitting out there. We were grateful that we were able to bring our little dog with us as well. Overall, an enjoyable visit.

Perfect, so much better than a motel. Beatrice, I never got to meet in person but very easy to establish a sense good hospitality. I hope that beautiful broccoli was picked in time. Garden was just lovely and in beautiful bloom whilst there, always a bonus for me.

It was so good to have pet-friendly accommodation. The premises were well presented with some good, quality features. The outlook of the garden was lovely. The table and chairs were outside on the deck so at this cold time of year it wasn't a big drawcard to eat out there. However, the lounge was large and very comfy and we were able to eat inside. Staying at this property was overall nice, however we may have chosen elsewhere had we realised the weather was not great and there were road closures. The property would be great if you don’t wish to stay in the room much other than at night to sleep and have lots to do during the day, but we found that having to be inside a lot due to rain and a lack of available activities, we didn’t feel we had the privacy or seclusion we would have hoped to have at a stay we would be inside of for the entire day. That is no fault of the owners but just something to note. Otherwise, we did enjoy our stay and the property was clean and appropriate for the price. The owner was lovely and our experience was mostly positive so we would still recommend staying here.

Perfect for a one-night stopover

Rose Cottage had everything that we were hoping for. A comfortable bed, enough facilities to make cups of tea and to eat our food. Extra blankets, towels etc. Beatrice is very friendly and made our dog welcome. Peaceful and quiet with a park opposite.
