House was great! Open and modern floor plan, natural light, big couch and good seating, lots of pillows and blankets, well stocked with everything! Added enjoyment of bald eagles flying over the lake. Adam was responsive with communication. Rented this house for a soccer tournament in Feb (so didn’t really get to enjoy the lake or outdoor seating) and it was located right in the middle of the 3 field locations. Reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

My family and I had a great stay on Mona Lake. The property was exactly as described maybe even better. The property manager, Adam, was very helpful and easy to reach. I would definitely recommend this house for a relaxing family vacation.

The house is comfortable and decorated so nicely. The owners have thought Of virtually everything one might need while away from home. I really appreciated fresh ground coffee, and a Keurig machine. Plus a wonderfully stocked kitchen to prepare anything you would like to Make. Thanks for a great stay and we will be back!

This home was so warm and comfortable. Everything was spotless and we had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. The scenery was beautiful and it was a close distance to a ton of places to eat and hang out!

My family had a wonderful stay in Norton Shores. The house is perfect for family of all ages and located near Muskegon and Grand Haven with so much to do. Adam, the property manager was very helpful and easily contacted with quick responses. We enjoyed many family bike rides through the neighborhood. The dock is down a hill with many steps but great overall. We recommend Lakeside Retreat for a great getaway!

The thing our family liked best about this property is the backyard that adjoins the lake. There were at least six bald eagles that were roosting in the trees and swooping down to catch fish in the water almost our entire stay. We could watch all this from the window--lots of fun! We arrived in February and it would have been nice that the snow was cleared away from the sidewalks, that's why we downgraded cleanliness. The master suite was beautiful with shower, jacuzzi tub and tons of storage space. The fireplace in the master bedroom was very nice and the room was very spacious. The rest of the house was fine for our son & his young family. The property is nicely located for easy access to local hiking along Lake Michigan, which we took advantage of since there wasn't enough snow for winter activities. We also enjoyed a visit to a waterpark that was about 30 minutes away. The kids especially loved that. We marked down for accuracy of listing in that it was unclear that this property was situated in a subdivision. We were under the assumption from the photos that it was in a secluded area. It turned out not to matter in the long run as we weren't outside much with the cold weather, and the view of the lake was great.

We very much enjoyed our stay, the house was beautiful, relaxing, and felt like home. The location of the property is awesome, in a quiet neighborhood and within 10-30 minutes of numerous things to do or places to go (grocery, ice-cream, frozen yogurt, pubs, restaurants, hiking trails, sand dunes, beaches, cideries, etc.). The view of the lake is beautiful and the amount of windows and natural light coming in is amazing. The property was very clean and the communication was prompt and very helpful. We recommend this property and will definitely be back!

Everything was absolutely wonderful during our stay. The house was clean and in the perfect location for everything we had planned in the Grand Haven/Muskegon area. We would definitely stay here again!

We (4 adults and 3 young children) just finished a great week at this nice home. The house was clean and comfortable. The lake setting was lovely. We spent lots of time on the patio near the house and on the deck closer to the lake. There was a level yard in-between where the kids could run around. Two kayaks were available for our use. While the sandy beach was good for launching boats, it wasn't so good for swimming, but there was a nice one minutes from the house. And of course, there are the dunes close by. Adam was VERY responsive to our questions. We'd be happy to return.

The home is clean and updated. Check in process and communication was a breeze. The lake views and access were beyond expectations!! Loved our stay. If I ever make it back to Michigan in the future, I would stay here again.
