Amazing Home, Perfect Location for Fishing the White River

Beautiful house, exactly as described. Perfectly situated by the river and interior was clean and updated. We’ll stocked kitchen.

This is our second stay at the home, and we can’t wait to come back. We love the large kitchen island for cooking and serving, the grill, and fire table for nights on the patio. The downstairs is a huge hit for the kids, who spent most of the weekend down there! We’ve stayed at 4 or 5 different properties in the area and this one by far is the best. We had a blast.

GOOD-Beautiful home w/awesome layout w/lots seating in & out. INCREDIBLE views at sunset. Very responsive (initially), until there was an issue. Stove/oven very clean (cleanest than any other rental), but walls/vent were food splattered. Huge island. Super comfy sweater, baby lap blankets. Lots of fridge space. Lots of seating, inside & out. Lots of parking. Mud room is nice for coolers. Hand soap at every sink is nice. Beds comfortable. NEED TO KNOW-Beds have comforters, but zero blankets, so bring your own. Bring sterile cleaning sponges. The ones there, were used & gross. Bring own pooper scooper (although we weren’t told we had to scoop, we did b/c it’s the courteous thing to do). No storage containers for food or paper towels, so bring your own. BAD-Kitchen drawers were dirty & looked like hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. No fire pit instructions & empty propane tanks, so missed out on usage for half of stay. UGLY-Lawn maintenance disrupted our stay with extreme noise for nearly 6 solid hours. At almost $1000 a night, I deemed this unacceptable. Imagine paying $41.50 hour for a peaceful meditation vacation, only to have it rudely interrupted by extreme NON-STOP noise for nearly 6 of those hours that you paid good money for? I requested a refund of the 6 hours. Not only was no refund provided, but what we got in reply was CRICKETS. That was very rude & EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL to just ghost us & not reply at all. Spoke w/other owners who said 10% refund is due

We had great time at the property. Property is located right on the river and perfect fishing spot. Very clean and well maintained house with all needed amenities for great weekend away. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Nice place on the white river. Great location

We chose this house for a family vacation to celebrate my FIL’s 87th birthday. There were a variety of our family there and the spaces were great for us. The house is in a beautiful location - our fishing guides picked us up in the backyard at the riverbank - very convenient. We cooked large dinners each night and made breakfast and lunch in house each day. The kitchen is very well appointed; we found everything we needed to make our planned meals. The open kitchen/dining/living layout is great for a larger group. The view out the back of the house and back deck is priceless! We very much enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. This was a great place!

This is a beautiful home right on the river. Spacious and well equipped for a vacation home.

I would absolutely recommend this home for others and I would 100% stay here again. Pros: - Tricia, prop manager, super nice and responsive. - Location, on the White river and right near Whitehole Public access. - Size, plenty large and lots of bathrooms. Multiple rooms with attached bathrooms. - The outside fenced yard was perfect as we have a 10 year old dog and a 8 month old puppy who needs to be contained. - The deck and river access that was able to be fished in low water. - Kitchen - size able to host and everyone and cook. Lots of spices and oils. A few cons: the house is expensive, these things should be taken into consideration: -75% of the remotes need new batteries, so we were switching them around trying to get them to work. - The comforters on the bed were extremely hot and there wasn't really another option such as a lighter blanket. - The grass in the fenced yard was so long and it was so humid that we got soaking wet every time were were out there with the dogs. Also made cleaning up poop difficult. They told us it was going to be mowed while we there, but it didn't happen. - Expensive Cleaning fee and then asking to wipe counters down and start laundry. This was not in the initial house rules, or posted on VRBO, and felt like a surprise when we got there. We don't mind taking out trash/dishes, but after you pay an expensive fee I don't think it's reasonable to have to initiate cleaning. - bedroom stair lights don't go off

We stayed here for our annual fishing trip. The listing was accurate, the owner was responsive and extremely helpful. Great experience all around.

This was a lovely, well appointed home on the river. We had 6 adults and four kids and everyone had their own space. The kitchen was fantastic in size, amenities and function. The proximity to the public ramp was very convenient and we enjoyed everything the house had to offer.

Property is in a prime location for fishing just minutes away from the white hole boat ramp. The inside of the home is up to date and is beautiful. It had plenty of room for my buddies and I to hangout and rest after a full day of fishing. We had a large group, the big back porch outside had plenty of room for us to all hangout and enjoy the great view looking out over the white river. We had guides both days of fishing, with the home being located right on the river it made things easy as we were able to just walk out of the back door and down to the river where the guides picked us for our day of fishing. Overall, I have stayed in multiple homes on the white river, if this home is available, I would highly recommend you booking this place! I will definitely be coming back!

The property is fabulous with a great house layout. We had 5 couples stay at the house and had plenty of room, personal space and all enjoyed the common areas together. We will likely be rebooking in the near future.

The river is a little overpopulated, because the property is near a fishing club, but the accommodations were fantastic.

We had a blast! The house was absolutely perfect. Tons of space, everything needed was there. Extra linens, fully stocked kitchen, lots of seating and the most wonderful view of the river. We were able to walk right into the river and fish from The shore or wade in. We caught several rainbow trout. The kids had a blast on the shoreline, and the fenced in area was something we have never had at a white river rental but such a nice added safety feature for little ones. The kids absolutely loves the downstairs and bunk room (we hardly saw them the whole weekend!). Kitchen was perfect for cooking and gathering together. We spent most of our time on the huge deck overlooking the river. The firepit on the deck was perfect for evenings spent together with friends and family. Truly magical. We will absolutely be back again - we’ve stayed at a number of VRBOs on the white river and this one has it all!

Our extended family loved the beautiful great room, outdoor seating and comfortable beds. It was so relaxing to watch the river and fishermen.

Excellent property. Beautiful views and fairly private. Trisha, the housekeeper, was very nice and answered almost all our questions about the house. I felt she was more communicative than the actual host and even gave us her phone number to call if there were any issues. The septic system for the lower bathroom and laundry room were broke but fixed quickly.

This house worked really well for our group of 10 and our small dog. It was wonderful to have a fenced in yard! Beautiful view of river. We really enjoyed the large modern and well stocked kitchen and great room. Bedroom setup and sizes were very nice!
