My family of seven stayed in this listing for six days during our first visit to the area. The house is bright and well-appointed with a spacious living room, kitchen, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a large backyard. As someone who appreciates good interior design (and perhaps am a little biased as we had some of the same items) I loved the decor. We were able to do laundry in the garage, and relax outside using the fire pit and the barbecue in the evenings. There were many little touches left by the owners that were much appreciated: items in the cupboards and fridge; toiletries in the bathroom; laundry soap to do your washing; games; and even records to listen to. Our children are older, but there is also a high chair, booster seat, and toys and books for wee ones (we did enjoy reading the picture book about the amazing RBG as a family outside). My only small complaint is that the bathroom in the main bedroom does not have a door which is a little awkward for privacy reasons. I am guessing by the layout it was not originally a bathroom, but I wonder if perhaps a pocket door could be installed. I would also add perhaps some stackable dining room chairs for larger families, as the table only had four (though we ate outside most of the time). It was in a neighbourhood close to major freeways and shops, and located within 30 minutes to most attractions like the San Diego Zoo, Safari Park, beaches etc... Contacting the hosts was very easy and quick replies were forthcoming. I would definitely recommend this rental to families looking for a comfortable home away from home.

We picked this place to try and be close to my dad. Turns out it was only 8 minutes away! Everything was great and clean and spacious! Finding a spot for 3 kids and 4 adults was tough but this place made is 100% easier.
