A clean comfortable room although a bit small for the time spent was good for me the staff there were great and very helpful location is right in the centre of town so easy to get to everything

Breakfast was okay can’t complain

There was no use of hot water as there was problems with the boiler. So after spending the last half hour outside in the rain we came back to get a shower to go out for a meal but was u able to do that so my heavily pregnant girlfriend had to get a sink wash with the kettle and it left us both feeling dirty and clammy. We was disappointed the host didn’t offer us any compensation and believe a discount should of been offered as it definitely was t worth £110 and feel a little mugged off

Excellent accommodation and location.

All residents were expelled onto the street at 4.00 am after a fire in the attic. No smoke or fire alarms sounded. After 2 hours of standing in our pyjamas and underwear, we were told by the fire brigade we could not re-enter the hotel. The fire brigade brought out our belongings one room at a time wearing masks and oxygen tanks which were contaminated by smoke. We all had to change into some form of clothing on the street. Although the landlord told us he would be re-accomodating us nothing happened and I had to find alternative lodgings. One and a half days later, after ignoring all calls and texts he rang to check how I was fairing. After informing him I had been in touch with you and you had reassured me I would get a refund he was pleased I'd found somewhere else. So far I haven't received any refund.

Man was very friendly checking us in, bed was very comfy, lots of light in the room (dark when curtains shut which was fab) location was great too. Was also given free parking but limited spaces available. Lots of tea and coffee available. Also iron and hairdryer available.

Hand soap was literally dish cleaning soap, there was a dirty wet flannel in the sink, and the shower mat was soacked, made me think it hadnt been cleaned from the last person so didnt use it encase feel fungus etc. No mini shampoo or conditioner available which would of been a nice touch. This was a last minute trip and cheapest one on booking.com, but after walking around town there's lots of other places for cheaper.

Nothing advertised as an apartment not even close just a room with 3 beds an an out of date enough suite. Shower had no power so washing was hard.

Someone there to welcome. Everything was clean, and towels surprisingly good. Was asked if I needed hairdryer. Good position in the streets behind the Spa. Resident Parking allowed free parking on street and surrounding area but not always outside property.

It was a very small room and up 2 flights of stairs, but for the money I didn't expect much. TV remote didn't work even after having the batteries changed. The hairdryer supplied was very old and didn't look too safe (No PAC sticker) but worked sufficiently.

The price but you only get what you pay for.very basic.no milk in room.

I didn't have time for the breakfast, but my friend and colleague who also stayed there told me it was excellent. The room was clean and cosy and I even had a sea view. The location was fantastic literally 2 mins from the Spa theatre and 5 mins from the South Beach boardwalk where I was working that weekend. I have already reserved a room for next years three day Race The Waves event.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The location was good a parking permit was provided.

Seemed a little bit disorganised ,there was no TV remote and when provided it didn't work I didn't bring it up as I didn't really want to watch anything,.the lock on the door was a bit loose as was one of the taps, the bedside light didn't work.

I have stayed in this guest house before and have found both single and double rooms to be adequate and value for money, The new owner is friendly and the location of the accommodation is convenient and quiet. Free on street parking is also offered - just park when you can and provide your reg number when you arrive.

I visited for a weekend away with my Mum, The original room type booked wasn't available (2 single rooms on 1st floor) however we were offered a 2 bed ground floor apartment instead. This was part of someones personal accommodation (2 bedrooms, bathroom and utility area). One of the bedroom doors didn't fully shut and there was no lock on the entrance door which opened directly onto the owners Kitchen. A tv was provided on request and we were advised we could use the kettle in the kitchen if we wanted a cuppa. We returned back from a night out to a smell of cannabis in the entrance hall of the building. We also noticed the washing machine had been used during our absence. Whilst this accommodation was no doubt offered with good intent and was appreciated, I did not feel comfortable and would definitely not recommend this specific option to other people if it was offered. This is just my experience and opinion and I have endeavoured to be factual, fair and honest.

Adequate room - basic but clean. Comfy bed. Helpful and friendly host. Good central location. Ideal for what I required.

TV remote wouldn't work. Host tried to solve problems (and did supply another bedside light), Parking is on the street (permit) and I couldn't park outside and had to park in the next street. Sadly the shower was stone cold the next morning and it was too early to disturb the host.

That the place was. Close to the ocean..paid an upgrade to a sea view £76 not worth it
