The location and area was great for our group of eight. We loved the dock slip that was perfect for our pontoon.

This was a great house in a great location. The view of the river was great, and the short drive to Lansing's shops was helpful. John and Jane were great hosts. They were very responsive to requests and proactive in making sure we were taken care of as guests. We would stay here again.

We truly enjoyed this property. The views are spectacular. The property is clean and very comfortable. The hosts really want their renters to have the best time. They have many things to use at the property and were more than willing to give us ideas on places to go see and things to do. The one disappointment was that the fire pit didn't work. The trains are not too much of a bother. I would stay here again!

You couldn't ask for a better view.

This was a great place to unwind, clean with great views and accommodations. Just wish could have stayed longer. Will probably rent in near future.

Very nice fully renovated. Everything was new inside and out. Nice location on the river, roughly a mile from downtown Lansing. Yes, the tracks are close, but I believe we only incurred a couple of trains the two evenings we stayed. We were away from the site during the days visiting family. Good soundproofing so train noise was minimal IMO. We planned for 8, but only had 6 in our family able to attend. 3 bdrms with queens, one bdrm had an additional day bed, and there was a roll-away style twin bed that we could have used in the common area. The description stated common area sleep sofa/futon. (That was the roll-away twin). We'd definitely stay here again.

The property was beautiful. Overlooking the frozen Mississippi River with snow on the bluffs, we watched people ice fishing. The house and amenities were perfect. Very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the town of Lansing with the little shops and a good pizza place! The kids had sleds and they spent two days sledding down the hill by the house. A good time was had by all!!!

This was our second time staying here and it was perfect. We will definitely be back soon. Loved watching the trains go thru and the view of river is awesome!!

We had such a great time at Reel Paradise! The sunsets & sunrises are unreal & the location right on the Mississippi River is gorgeous. We loved being able to see trains going by from the bed & from the sofas in the living room. The house is so cozy & was the perfect size for our 4-night Thanksgiving stay. The owners were very quick to respond when we had trouble with the keypad entry & it was resolved very quickly. They also gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Beautiful decor throughout, very comfortable beds, sofas & chairs, fully stocked kitchen, nice quality linens & towels. Also lots of storage space to hide our suitcases & stuff. The dock was really fun to walk on, although it was too cold to stay out there for very long. The town of Lansing is close enough to walk, although we usually drove, & it’s a charming downtown with excellent food & ambiance at Coffee on the River, good food at Shep’s (although it was really cold in there), & fun shopping on Main St. in Horsfall’s Variety stores (amazing prices!!) & Red Geranium (really soft scarves). We also enjoyed walking up Mt. Hosmer Park. We would love to come back during a warmer time, but even with cold temps, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. We didn’t want to leave!!

We really enjoyed our time here. The views are amazing at all times of the day. We loved the outdoor patio space with the firepit and enjoyed the occasional train going by. (they were quieter than the vehicles on the road). The kitchen has all one could need. The house was very clean. The area is just beautiful. Hope to come back soon.

My sister's and I stayed for a long weekend get together. Everything was so perfect! We had everything we needed and more. Loved the fire pit and patio! Had problems with Netflix and Jane was quick to fix the problem! Can't say enough good things!

We stayed here for my bachelorette party and the place was perfect! It was very clean and had a ton of space. We enjoyed the screened in patio and the fire pit overlooking the river. The dock was also great for going boating.

Everything in the property was very clean and made for a nice comfortable stay. The whole family loved the screened in porch to enjoy the views outside and avoid the bugs. The town is cute and has a few places that we visited throughout our week long stay. The only downside was the trains but the property overall was worth it! Thanks for a great stay :)

This property is wonderful! The view is amazing, the property was extremely clean and had everything you'd need! There is a train track between the house and the Mississippi River and our 3 year old grandson was so EXCITED to get to see a train so close. There are lots of cars on each train, about 4 a day, but very quiet, didn't disrupt us in any way. The turn in to the drive way is very sharp coming from the south, but the owner warned us, and we followed their directions and had no problems. We had a 5 mo old and a 3 year old, if the kids were a little older I think we would have needed another bedroom, but it worked great to put a pack-n-play in the one bedroom with the daybed. We got along fine. Loved that they didn't short us on towels & washcloths like many places do. VERY NICE and would like to return again!

We had such a great time in the house. It's beautiful, clean and comfortable!!! The views are amazing on the deck! It helped that we had nice weather during our stay! The owners are great and are so accommodating with everything you would ever need in the rental. We come ever year for a vacation and hope to be able to stay her again!!!

We enjoyed the outdoor space and firepit. We hope to come back again! The only thing I could recommend changing is adding another shower but we got along with the one just fine too.

Great place to stay! It was nice to have a dock to keep the boat at. House was clean and had to everything we needed to make our meals. Nice location close to prairie de cheun.

We loved being able to use the private dock to dock our boat and also playing cards in the screened in sun room.

The property is a peaceful and relaxing place on the river. Very clean and updated and owners super accommodating. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning.

This home is so well done and the open views to the River make the place so relaxing. From sitting outside on the deck in the morning with coffee to playing games on the screened in porch during the middle of the day to sitting by the fire pit on the deck in the evening every part of our time was relaxing. Really a nice property on the Mississippi River! Very updated, kitchen stocked well, linens and towels were very good quality. Patio furniture comfortable, and was able to come inside at night for games on the screened-in patio portion. Even the trains coming through had some charm and it wasn't a bother. Host was very communicative, helpful, and kind.

My family had a restful two days at this property in Lansing! The house was completely remodeled and felt fresh and clean with up-to -date everything! Not being on the main channel of the river made the water languid and peaceful, perfect for boating and fishing (but if you want to sit back and enjoy the river traffic, you only get a small glimpse of the main channel through a gap of trees in the distance). That wasn’t a problem for us and we enjoyed fishing off the dock . The daily rental costs may have been a little high, but we booked at the last minute and we’re very glad to have this as a stop in our road trip. The owner was quick to respond and had the rental well-equipped and ready to use when we pulled in. Wish we could have stayed longer!
