The location was wonderful. it feels like you were nestled in the backyard of a forest but you were still close to the beach.

The first thing I had to do upon arrival, was pick up several arm-fulls of garbage outside the property. At first, the house appears tidy, but as you look closer that there are a lot of cleanliness issues. The fans had visible filth on them, and most pots and pans were pulled out to use had debris and oil all over them. There were no mugs and we had to buy some that we left there. There were no bowls. None of the pots had lids that fit. More seriously, the guest shower is scalding hot and can't be adjusted because the knob is too old and in bad shape. you should bring toilet paper, dishwasher soap, dish soap, and laundry soap because the amount that is provided will not quite be adequate for your stay. This property may be a bargain that you will pay in other ways. In retrospect, I would rather have paid more for a property that was better kept up and didn't skimp on toilet paper and dish soap.

The location was great and access to permit only parking areas was definitely a perk. Having access to a washer and dryer to be able to wash beachwear daily was great. The sun room was also a nice place to relax after a day at the beach.

The listing claims the kitchen is fully stocked, but I wouldn't say it was actually. Partially stocked may be more accurate. For example, the kitchen only had 3 bowls, which was difficult when 4 children wanted cereal for breakfast. The company only provided a single trash bag for a 4-night stay.
