This property worked well for our family with the 2 units and 6 bedrooms. We enjoyed the pool and sports items, and the location to the beach is great. We had an issue with the dishwasher, but the property owner worked with us and was very responsive. I highly recommend this property.

We had a great time at Jay’s home. It was a perfect house for our Christmas vacation with our brew of kiddos. The outside bocce, mini golf, and ring& hook game kept us all entertained the whole week. The house being made up as 2 duplexes gave us plenty of room to spread out and 2 kitchens were true a win-win for us. The house was comfortable, well-stocked with everything we needed. We were very close to the beach —less than 5 minute walk — and the pool was available if the weather would have been another 10 degrees warmer! Jay was a great host who was easy to work with when we had a need & he had a great sense of humor to boot. Would definitely use this house again when we plan another family gathering in Surfside!

Overall, the place was great! The only tough thing was the amenities within the home were lacking. There weren’t any beach towels, and no extra toilet paper or trash bags. The outside area was awesome with lots to do! The pool was great and it was so close to the beach! We loved the location and the outdoor space!

House was clean, in an excellent location and exactly as described. The pool and outdoor space was enjoyed by everyone. Would stay here again.

We brought our recently graduated sons to the area for their graduation trip from Oklahoma. The space was perfect for kids on the bottom floor and adults on top. The outside space was great and provided lots of entertainment.

We visited over July 4th and had a great time in Surfside. The home is a very easy walk to the beach with children. There were lots of outdoor pool toys and beach toys which was a plus. The pool is by far the largest in the neighborhood. We enjoyed the location of this property - close to Food Lion, local restaurants, and a park. Owner was very responsive to messages.

If you are looking for a beach getaway, then Ome Fun Beach House should, and needs, to be your choice for staying in Surfside Beach! First off, let me start by saying that Jay is a phenomenal host. From the week leading up to our stay, and until check-out, Jay was on point with communication and if we needed anything. He also gave us a few recommendations on food and local attractions. When you get to the house, you see all the surrounding properties, and right then I knew this house was cut from a different cloth. The uptairs has 3 bedrooms, a full bath, kitchen, sitting space, wrap-around porch that has a built in bench, and a picnic table. Each bedroom, up and downstairs, has a tv, a power outlet station with USB for charging, and closet/furniture for storage. The bathrooms have hair dryers. There is a great screened-in porch on the first floor that is perfect to sit at anytime of the day! The outdoor shower was awesome! Especially since you can latch the door shut from the inside. Very helpful to get sand out of suits! I know everyone did not come to the beach for the pool but this house has the biggest pool in the area, by far, and not a wadding pool that you can see most houses have as you walk to the beach or drive in the area. Plus, there is space!!!!!! It is a very short walk to the beach and the pool house has a shower and toilet, as well as laundry. This is the complete package and you wont be disappointed if you stay here!!

The property is so close to beach access! It was easy peasy walk with 2 four year olds, especially thanks to the on-site toys and cart!

Our family came together to celebrate our dad’s 70th birthday and this house was perfect. Everyone had their own space but then we were able to come together easily and take advantage of all of the amenities the house has to offer. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed hanging out outside playing bocce and laying by the pool. The walk to the beach was short and easy enough. We couldn’t have asked for a better space. Jay was a responsive host and answered any questions promptly. 10/10 would recommend.

The house was perfect for our family gathering! We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor activities that were provided - especially the well maintained pool and Bocce Ball court. Everyone had their own space when needed and the beds were comfortable as well. I fully expect the family to ask if we can get the same place next year!

We really enjoyed our stay and would book again in the future! The style of the house with two different floors with their own kitchen was perfect for multiple families, and the updates to the house were very nice. Outside of the unit is also really great as you have a lot of room for activities and one of the biggest pools in surfside. Fully recommend this vacation rental!

The house was amazing! There was something for everyone! Rooms were a nice size and everything was super clean and ready to go for us! The beach was a short walk and the pool was the perfect end to a long day at the beach! Kitchens were well equipped! Added bonus was the pool house and all the games! Putt putt was so much fun for my little one! If you are looking for a great location and awesome owner this is the place for you! Thanks for a great week at the beach at one fun beach house!!!

We all loved the house! This place was amazing. We had 5 kids staying there with ages from 14 to 4 and they all loved it. The pool was wonderful, we loved the bocce ball court and had many intense games, the shuffleboard court and the putt-putt holes were fun, and the dualing ring game was the icing on the cake. The large deck upstairs has a nice view and the neighbor was quiet and family oriented, like we wanted. The beds were comfortable. My 11 year old doesn’t ever want to stay anywhere else! The host was very helpful and a great host. I would highly recommend this house and we will most likely be back.
